His passion and willingness to throw himself to the wolf had brought back most of his regular customers and drawn in some new ones. Annie should have been happy that the bar was doing so well. She tried to be excited for Hoot. But all she felt—surrounded by people who were unknowingly rooting for her slaughter—was fear.

I used to think Circe and Loki Beaker were kind of perfect for each other, in a weird sense. Living in their weird little torture castle with no kids because both of them hate the idea (and they would be shit parents too lol). However in my head Circe is the kind of restless, driven genius who just gets bored with anything the world has to offer to normal people and goes to extreme lengths to keep her mind interested. Loki is convenient in that regard bc he is rich & insane, just as sneery but not as deliberately sadistic as Circe is, and enough of a mean asshole that he doesn't care too much about her more extreme "experiments". He is interested in results and scientific progress no matter the cost, and he detests Nervous personally. They do get along really well and I think there is love there in a way, but Loki's main motive for investments in scientific breakthroughs is his egocentricity - he wants to immortalize his genes and the closer he gets to actually creating his clones the narrower his tunnel vision gets. I think Circe would eventually just have enough of the pettiness at the root of it all, and she can only maintain interest in something or someone as long as she respects it or them.

So as they age, long after Nervous has gotten away from them, I feel like their marriage would become one of convenience. Circe likes the facilities Loki's money can provide. Loki is simply too self-absorbed to care, maybe he doesn't even notice Circe straying. Her mind is fixating on new goals and interests, and while she is annoyed with Loki at first for caring so little (she might even have a fling with Vidcund purely to spite him) she might eventually just move on, do her thing, sleep in the spare bedroom. She might lead Vidcund on for the sole purpose of getting her hands on his alien baby for research (which might lead to him selling Tycho away later?), she might also try to have a grim reaper baby with Nervous' sperm that I'm sure she has stored in a freezer. I see her having an affair with Chloe Curious too lol.

So eventually my long-term HC for the Beakers is they are amicable married roommates living parallel lives, Circe casually involved with Chloe, and in eventual threesomes with Abhijeet & Meredith, Loki only ever in love with himself. There might be as many as three children running around in the castle - and all of their available parents are absolute shit at their jobs.

It finally happened. Vidcund went to space. And it was apparently very scary

So very spooky, he needed a hug to cope.

i didn't really think it would be this effective but yes Vidcund is expecting a kiddo. which, with Johnny, their roommate Metis and later Ophelia, doesn't seem very feasible.

moving on. With the new found maternity (paternity? man-ternity?) leave, Vidcund got to go out (invite over) Meredith Lillard to hang out (date).

in the meantime Johnny got some alone time with Ophelia and he decided "nows the perfect time to propose. out here, in the cold, in my pajamas."

Ophelia obviously said yes and moved in right away

The apartment is extremely crowded as is, only holding together because of the convenient schedule. You know what would make it better?

big fucking ts2 spreadsheets

i'm clearly a very exciting person so a while ago i compiled three ts2 spreadsheets, listing each premade playable* sim's aspiration (+ hidden tokens although they don't affect statistics at all they're just for fun), along with a hopefully legible table listing the frequency of each aspiration as compared to gender and age group.

this ⬇️ is the largest spreadsheet, which comprises all 206 playable sims, including those from subhoods/unihoods and stealth hoods. this is also, unfortunately, the one which may be most prone to inaccuracies, as i don't play with subhoods/unihoods whatsoever and relied on the sims wiki for my information. the sims wiki, however, is rather incompetent and has been known to incorrectly list aspirations. i apologise for any errors, though ultimately i am lazy and i just didn't feel like manually installing all of the unihoods in a testhood and manually scouring simPE for all of this given that i don't play these hoods in the first place :( i can promise that it'll be mostly accurate though

this ⬇️ next spreadsheet is comprised of all 123 playable sims from the main hoods, including EPs, which is more my wheelhouse. you can trust me with this one i swear </3

and lastly! this ⬇️ right here is for only the base game hoods, and to be honest i find it the most interesting. remember that asterisk? this is for playable sims *and a select few NPCs that are plot-significant in some way, so kaylynn langerak, gordon king, crystal vu, abhijeet cho and meredith lillard. this was the first of the spreadsheets i made so idk i was having fun with it i wanted to include circe's friends for this one.

Freetime Posters - 12 Cuisine Hobby Posters

Happy weekend y'all! This week's hobby is cuisine, which was kind of overwhelming...which is why this is a Sunday upload instead of Saturday. 😅 Swatch, details and download below!

Man, there were SO many directions I could have gone with these. I always plan out the designs I want to make before I start, but this set was tough to whittle down to just a dozen. I think I got a pretty good balance, but I could have done twelve just for beverages alone (because apparently at Maxis, cuisine = drinks 😂).

But anyway, here they are! These are on @linacheries’ delightful 4t2 conversion of Simsza’s National Park Prints (mesh is included), and they feature another 12 designs made with Flaticon elements + lots of Simlish fonts (even more than usual because I also went on a font shopping spree in the midst of these lol). They’re all inspired by locations, items, features and Sims from the game.
