Like I said to a good friend of mine the other day- I had the full intent of treating this character like a children’s book witch until I realised she’s the type of person who would yell FOR FUCK’S SAKE at the top of her lungs in a crowded room if her familiar knocked the sugar off the table.

It’s october, so apparently this is compulsory. Also @furiroad made it sound like a good idea WHICH IT WAS. 

Merribee is a cooking witch and her familiar is an asshole munchkin cat named Porridge. Her wand is a transmogrified wooden spoon because she kept accidentally stirring things with her wand anyway. Porridge likes to periodically knock all her spices off their racks. They have a very caring relationship.
