Mini Mathur’s ‘rigorous training’ is showing: ‘Finally fit into this dress I love’

If you are looking for some fitness inspiration, look no further than Mini Mathur. The 47-year-old actor and TV host has been sharing her fitness journey on Instagram, and we are in awe of her dedication and transformation.

Mini recently posted a picture of herself in a stunning blue dress, which she said she finally fit into after months of hard work. She wrote, “Finally fit into this dress I love after months of rigorous training. Transformation is not just about short term changes but also about adopting a healthier lifestyle in the long run.” She also thanked her fitness expert Vishal Mankani for his guidance and support.

Mini has been vocal about the challenges of staying fit in her 40s and 50s, and how she has overcome them with a positive mindset and a consistent routine. In an earlier post, she had opened up about turning her “fight mode on to have the fittest body” she has had since becoming a mom.

She had said, “Trust me…If you feel and look unfit (and this isn’t about being thin…I’m talking about strength here), you find yourself thinking like a loser too.” She had also expressed her desire to ski, dive and hike at 70 and outrun her son Vivaan.

Mini’s fitness routine includes strength training, Pilates, yoga and cardio. She often shares videos and pictures of her workouts on her Instagram stories, motivating her followers to join her. She also emphasises on the importance of balance, both in life and in fitness.

She had once written, “Balance. That’s what I’m striving for. Between being happy in my bubble and sad with the plight of the world. Between being an ambitious professional and a good parent. Between being fit and enjoying the food I love. Between being a loyal friend and a good spouse. Between being edgy stylish and comfortable. Between chasing my dreams and being an anchor for those I love. Between stability and flight.”

Ex Indian Idol contestant tweets about the physical abuse on the reality show

Indian Idol has been popular reality shows on Indian TV over the years now.  Keeping this aside, a shocking revelation about the show is made by the show's Ex- contestant. Ex-Indian Idol contestant Nishant Naik who had reached the third round of the show in the 2012 season spoke about the physical abuse on the show. He expressed his anger on Twitter and wrote, "Brief, nonchalant thread about my auditioning experience at Indian Idol 2012 and why I think it is a perfect platform to destroy your dreams as opposed to its common perception as a breeding ground for talent." Not just this, he even narrated how one of the competitors was slapped by a crew member of the show, " At this point one of the candidate lost his shit and stood up, demanding to see where the audition were going on, to see the judges. One of the crew members to him and slapped him. In front of thousands of people. SLAPPED.A.CONTESTANT. Yes, this happened." He went on, "My summarised observation of Indian Idol was that it decorates and recognises maybe 10 or less, very worthy participants yearly. But en route it quashes a million people's hearts by disrespecting them, ridiculing and abusing them, denying them a conducive atmosphere to contest."

When Nishant shared this stunning details about the show, Twitterati flooded their opinion, however an occasion most shocking part was when former host of Indian Idol Mini Mathur agreed with him and stated, "This sucks. Thanks for forwarding me this thread. I wasn't a part of the 2012 season yet I know most of what he has articulated is known to occur on reality TV. One reason I bowed out.
