My journaling cards got an upgrade! Found my Apple TV box sitting empty on my living room bookshelf, so I decided to repurpose it to store ALL of my cards, even the 4x6 ones! (Sidenote: I just got a new pack of the PL ledger cards, and unfortunately they don't all fit in this box, but I still love how my decorative ones do.) I just covered up the Apple TV logos with matching stickers and YAY! I love this way more now. Do you ever get so overwhelmed with having so many ideas or things you want to try and do that you sort of shut down and don't begin any of them?⠀ ⠀ I've been feeling a bit like that lately--though let me be fair and say I've also been sick--and all I want to do is lay in bed and read a book. But I've got all of these things I want to start doing and try out and while I've set myself up for doing all of them, I just can't seem to actually get started.⠀ ⠀ I've always been like this and I often wonder if I really need to execute every new idea I have at all. But I'm also the type of person who can't ignore a new idea for a new project for too long. It eats away at me until I get started. Anyone else like this?⠀ ⠀ I sometimes wish we (as a society) never structured time that way it can be endless in its infiniteness and we as people don't have to be bound by its "confines." I've got this doily bunting from @maggiehdesign Confetti collection and this tag banner I created using bits from @thefairytaleclub up on my wall over my desk. I've literally had these same two things hanging in my room for YEARS. A view of the top shelf in my little Ikea tiered shelf thing I've got sitting on top of my desk.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ I use this spice rack I got from World Market to hold these little jars of embellishments. I purchased an entire box of these little glass jars from Hobby Lobby. I've got various buttons, resin pieces, pom poms, fabric bows and sequins stored in them.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ Then I have random decorative things sitting on this shelf as well. I've got my business cards, a small jar of decorative clips, and my little cat doll I made some time ago.⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ Also, these two handmade candles I purchased at a Medieval Festival. The wicks the woman who made them used are so bad though. They literally just burn up. Is there a way to add another wick to them, so I can burn them properly? They smell so good, it's been a shame I can't use them. Another staple on my desk are these bowls filled with random embellishments. I've got four of them, which are filled with chipboard pieces, puffy stickers, ribbons and trims. A view of my workspace. I rearranged some supplies so that the things I want to use--and the tools I usually grab for--are all at a hands reach. I've found that if something is out of sight, I'm least likely to use it. And a goal of mine is to use up my stash! So everything I'm hoping to use in my little scraptherapy book is all in that white desk organizer. Once the supplies dwindle, I will shop my stash to replenish.
