Cooking Youtuber Steve; who has series where he makes good family friendly meals, dishes for picky eaters, tips for everyday cooking. As well as series where he tries to make historical dishes, food and drinks from games and TV.

DnD Youtuber Eddie; who has a long actual play series, videos about his characters and the world he's built. Videos about tips for your role-playing, getting immersed. A series where he tries other TTRPG's and board games.

Dustin persuades Steve to make videos about medieval inspired, DnD friendly meals. And because it does actually seem like a fun challenge, he does it. Dustin looks horrifically smug about it when the videos are a hit, the bastard. (Steve will make him eat something gross as payback. Its fine. Gotta keep him humble.)

And because obviously, Eddie sees the videos. He's always on the search for good DnD shit. But the guy is so fucking hot Eddie doesn't quite know what to do with himself. Except daydream about those eyes, and that hair, and those hands.

So Eddie records himself trying (and only sort of failing) to recreate the food. It comes out sort of ugly but actually nice tasting, so Eddie calls it a win. References the Hot Chef Steve in his video, adds a link to his channel, and tries not to feel his heart beating out of his chest when he sends @'s him with a link to the video. His channel is way bigger than Eddie's, he probably won't see it, Eddie's fine.

Except the Hot Chef does see it, and Eddie sort of loses his mind when he gets a comment or a message from him, thanking Eddie for giving his recipe a go, and giving him credit for the recipe. Eddie's not fine at all, this guy is way out of his league, and Eddie can feel the crush bubbling up under his ribcage, and Oh Fuck he's messaging Eddie.

for anyone who didn't know, in a couple days' time i will be posting the first chapter or so from my fitzier pale rider (1985) au, revelation 6:8, for cowboyshowfest!! i'm very happy w/ how it's turned out so i'm really excited to see what people think of it.

#if you've read franklin canada which me and cinna wrote a couple years ago now it's sort of a sister fic #similar premise; sole survivor v. largely reincarnated cast & very complicated slow-burn plot w/ lots of moving parts #& also a close mirroring/parallel to canon where it kind of hangs over the text on purpose #hrrrngh.... intertextuality!!!!! #it's come out at about 170k words which was about 130k more than planned #but i did thoroughly enjoy writing it over the summer and i keep looking at it even now going ouguhhhghh... pale rider.... #it's 16 chapters + epilogue and all totally finished so chapters will probably be published weekly on friday/saturday #you don't need to have read franklin canada or seen pale rider to understand what's happening in it as it's entirely separate but #it does carry a lot of themes from both places purely bc they're things i like the themes of and like to redo/re-explore them #but the basic premise is that if you like undead ghost cowboy francis you're in for a treat #momo.txt

NY. i’ll briefly run you through my most extensive one: after removing my makeup, i use a cream cleanser, then wash, oil cleanser, wash, foam cleanser, wash, then toner, ampoule, sheet mask, then night cream, and finally eye cream :D

saying that i'm actively trying at recovery now would be a bit of an exaggeration since i currently can't work out and exercise helps me massively in my healthy habits, but i think i'm finally able to distance myself from this thought that was kind of always underlying that said: restricting will benefit me, regardless of the situation. i know i'm still the same person but the past few months have been so hard for me, and have changed me so much, i think at this point i'm just like ... i want good things

i want good things to happen to me and that won't be achievable through restriction. rationally (although emotionally, not yet really) i know that restriction only brings fleeting joy, even though it can be pretty exhilarating, that's not what i want. i want stable, long-term happiness. and i want to not be crushed when things go bad but to have a bit of stability left. restriction can take that away from you. no matter whether you feel good or bad restricting, you are necessarily fragile (in every way)

I want to talk about the word “fat”. To many, it can be a very triggering word due to all the negative association it has to excess human body weight and dietary nutrition and I wanted to acknowledge that. But to me?? Fat is a very positive word. Fat is warm, fat is round, fat is comfort, fat is kindness. I only trust chef’s with some girth when choosing recipes and cooking videos because I know they actually enjoy the food their making and eating it instead of spitting it out each take. Fat isn’t just a positive word for people, it’s just a positive state of being. Look at that fat cat. Look at that fat plushie. Fat!!

Petition to make the word fat be related with positive connotation again. Please. I love the word fat and all of its positive meanings in the same way “gay” is a word that should be associated with happiness and pride. If “skinny” is a compliment than “fat” should be one too.
