Dino 206 S, 1967. The last of of only 13 examples constructed with Piero Drogo-designed Spyder bodywork and one of only two examples fitted with the most power Tipo 233 engine is being offered in a sealed bid auction. It was restored by Ferrari Classiche in 2014 and is Red Book certified. It was sold new to Corrado Ferlaino, the famous long-term owner of the Napoli Football team and has subsequently featured in a number of the world’s most prominent Ferrari collections.

(Note that the auction listing names the car as a Ferrari Dino 206 S though there are no Ferrari badges on the vehicle, these cars were built by Ferrari but only ever sold with a Dino badge)

Okay so I got an ad on Instagram about this. Basically whoever buys the new Drillionaire album can put himself (or his own team) forward to compete in a football tournament. Different matches will be held, among fans, in Bari, Napoli, Rome and then, on the final one in Milan, whatever fan team wins will be put against the team made by Drillionaire and the other singers he featured with in the album. So, now, the pressing question is: has Blanco finally won Mahmood over with the "please please come play football with me?"

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Mamuka Jugeli) to Tsotne Kinkladze: “Osimhen will sign for a Saudi Club in the summer. Kvara won’t sign for a Saudi Club even if they give him €1B…”.

That’s the beauty of a World Cup. Everything becomes about flags and colors and songs, but not in a way that tears people apart. We dream of our homelands in a way that is positive. In my neighborhood, it was connected to the past and to family in a beautiful way. Sometimes, especially in an African family, it might be the only time you will ever see your father or your uncle cry.
Sometimes people ask me why I chose to play for Senegal instead of France.
“Kouli, if you went for France, you could have been a world champion.”
Maybe, but I believe in fate. I always say that I am the fruit of two cultures -- the French and the Senegalese. I am very proud to be French. But for me, representing Senegal has been God’s plan. There has been something inside of me since 2002, pulling me toward that fate. I remember back when Aliou took over the team in 2015, he called me and said, “Kouli, we’re going into a new cycle, and we need you. You must come with us.”
He took a chance on a 24-year-old who was still sitting on the bench for Napoli. He believed in me. So I had to believe in Senegal. When I called my parents to tell them my decision, it was the only time in my life that I have seen them excited about football. Normally, they act as if I am still playing a game out in the schoolyard. They are too familiar with the hardships of real life to be bothered by a game. But when I called my father on FaceTime and told him that I was going to represent Senegal, I could see the light in his eyes.
This is a man who worked nonstop as a skilled worker in a sawmill — seven days a week for five years — so that he could give his children a better life in France. It takes a lot to get The Boss excited. But that day, his eyes were shining. Me representing my country is not just about a football match. It is about my blood, and my history, and the dreams of my parents.

the kmj situation is wack for so many reasons … while i can understand minjae being exhausted both physically and mentally after playing 90 minutes of pretty much every napoli game this season and every game being important what with them gunning for the serie a title and being strong contenders for the cl, the man either needs better pr training or just needs to rue on his feelings for a while before saying them out loud.
it’s fine to want to focus on your club for the moment, but to explicitly say that you ‘don’t want to focus on the national team’ comparing it to your club in one breath is 1) implying that you want to retire from the nt, 2) just generally not reading the room right especially when your nt has just gotten a new coach that needs to work out the kinks and figure out the system, and 3) a slap in the face to the fans of your country supporting your career. south koreans especially take great pride in their nation and their nation’s outputs—just look at the (very well deserved) support that korean ppl always have for players like son heungmin or park jisung. while he is playing for a big club in italy now and is very talented and successful, minjae came up through the k league and, before transferring to napoli, mostly had korean fans/fans who are also avid fans of korean football. to indirectly undermine that is a no-go.
absolutely he is allowed to feel the way he feels and this opens up a lot of necessary conversations about player wellness, but being professional is also part of the game. he could have gracefully bowed out of at least one friendly citing physical exhaustion (especially since klinsmann so far seems to be the kind of guy to prioritise player comfort) instead of making comments like this to the press afterwards. most likely he had no malicious intentions, but this is just unfortunately shooting his own self in the foot.
also regarding the whole blocking sonny thing—i won’t get into speculation or whatever there because they’re grown men but it’s wild that ppl are blaming this on sonny being shady with his post about it being an honour to play for korea. sonny’s always been the kind of guy to openly love playing for his nt and it’s a big responsibility he takes both physically and mentally to try and play in every game the nt organises despite being a constant starter for a premier league club (just look at the way he fought to play in the wc despite his injury). whether this is right or wrong isn’t important—it’s his choice as is any other player’s choice to not play, and we shouldn’t demonise them for that. the simple fact of the matter is that sonny always makes these kinds of posts after every international game; in my eyes, it has nothing to do with minjae’s comments at all.
all in all, just a weird situation that’ll most likely taint the way a lot of kr minjae fans see him … just quite unfortunate really.

Have a nice day C! First, I feel sad for BVB for losing Bundesliga trophy just one goal clarence. But anyways football is football. Congrats Bayern for winning their Bundesliga title again. So I heard that according to some sources Muneco Gallardo will be the new coach of Napoli or PSG. I'm a little worried because he coached River Plate in Argentina for eight and a half years. He already played in Europe for about five years in AS Monaco and one year at PSG. I think that he had a good rest with his family in about a year, and I wish him good luck in his new coaching career.
nice day to you too, anon! also happy for tuchel after all <3. diving into the gallardo news, i wasn't aware! i just want to see him coaching a team again bc i knowww how good he is, and he deserves to prove himself out there to be recognized as one of the best managers there is! i don't really care which team. if it is psg, though, i'll be sad messi is leaving and he won't be able to coach him, they get along so well :(
Tumblr media
but also, it's so fitting that you sent me this today when they're just about to unveil the statue made for him in river and i think he'll be there!! brb going to cry bc i love him soooo much
