Got this Christmas gift from a gem of a human. It is an F# contra bass tuned to 432hz, which is a tuning that people believe is more all aligned to the energy frequency of the earth. 🎵 Can you hear the sound of flute that sings? In Lakota language the fute is called Šiyótȟaŋka, which can be translated as „Great Song”. 🕯 There are many types of flutes out there and each one has it’s story. For Example North American flute names depend on tribe, person who crafted it, tuning used etc. 📖 Some are „Native American Style Flutes”, some can be called „Indigenous flutes” some can’t and so on. Playing the #nativeamericanstyleflute is so healthy for the lungs. Especially when you play rhythmic melodies like these. You can see during the video how my face becomes increasingly more concerned haha. That’s because playing rhythms like this requires so much breath control that if you don’t take in and let out the perfect amount of breath per note, the rhythm becomes off and you end up feeling desperate to either exhale or inhale. Such a simple yet powerful instrument in so many ways.
