So my idea if you accept it for a request is klaus x demigod daughter of Hecate reader and how it would be? Ps like the maybe the ready hate Elena and her friends and when they tried to kill klaus she beat them up and he’s totally taken by her?
Tumblr media
I love everything about you.
Being the daughter of Hecate i was deeply respected by the supernatural community. I could pretty much take everyone out with the flick of my wrist so they liked to tread carefully.
These fucking mystic falls cockroaches however seemed to think they could do as they please when they please with no consequences. Elena the doppelgänger seemed to have some sort of invisible leash on everyone in that town, she had two vampire brothers tripping over each other for her, a blonde vampire who was at her beck and call and a Bennett witch who deemed herself ‘invincible’. Honestly, what in the underworld is going on here.
Let’s just say it was a breath of fresh air when the Mikaelsons came up, finally some people who weren’t ogling Elena. I knew who they were already of course, besides my mother was the one to grant Esther the power to create them. My mother’s most sacred animal is the dog, black dogs especially for some reason and so it only made me take a further interest when i witness Niklaus transform into a midnight black wolf. I followed him the whole two days he was a wolf, due to interest yes and also to make sure nothing happened to him, he could protect himself i know but still having a demigoddess watching over you is still an extra safety net.
He looked directly at me a few times but each attempt he made to near me was stopped when i would dissolve into a cloud of mist. His head would tilt and his ears would lay flaw against his head as he reluctantly walked away.
The next time i saw him was when he was in the smokey mountains, poor thing was trying to create more of himself, he just wasn’t seeing the correct picture to follow. I slowly approached him when he sat on a log, head in his hands and bodies piled around him as he waited for Stefan to arrive with a dead Ray. I sat next to him silently and gently rubbed his back, he tensed completely as her glanced up at me, confusion clear in his expression as he whispered a quiet “it’s you”
Not even a second later Stefan arrived and made myself vanish again. It was fun to watch how frustrated he became. I stuck around and went to Chicago but then i had to leave because Gloria started freaking out. She was all “you’ve brought a type of darkness with you” it was weird but like okay?
She couldn’t see me but she started chanting stuff and my mother told me to leave her be so i did.
Mystic falls was boring and Elena was a whiney about Stefan while also trying to fuck his brother, Caroline was always with Tyler and Bonnie was comforting Elena. Jeremy was alright, we spoke sometimes and he always served me at the grill, Matt does not like me one bit and i do not mind that at all.
Eventually Klaus came back and i wasn’t exactly expecting it. He had walked right into me or i walked into him but anyway i got mad cuz i spilt my drink on myself and thought it was gonna be like Damon or something so i started yelling
“can people in this town not look where they’re going for five fucking minutes!? honestly you would think a vampire would have a better sense of direction but noooo” i was wiping at my shirt aggressively until i realised the coffee wasn’t going to come out. I glared back up at the supernatural being to find those beautiful arctic blue eyes. His pretty pink lips were parted in an almost gaping way as he stared at me wide eyed. I felt my anger melt away as i studied the shock within his face.
“i’m… sorry…i wasn’t looking, i was upset about something… and was in a rush” he spoke slow and sounded uncertain
“oh, right well i shouldn’t have yelled. Come on, i need to put on a clean shirt and you can tell me about your problems” now yes i could have probably just made a new shirt appear on my but i didn’t fancy missing the opportunity to bring Niklaus along with me. He reluctantly began telling me that the little gang had brought Mikael to town, tried to kill him and then Stefan stole his family in coffins.
I invited him inside, much to his surprise, and started the kettle. I didn’t bother asking him to turn around when i changed my clothes and didn’t comment on his reddened cheeks as he swallowed thickly.
He stayed for dinner in the end and i managed to dodge any and all questions he tried to ask about who i was or how i knew who he was.
I drove him to the hotel he was staying at while his mansion was being built and even went as far to come inside and see how fancy it was. Let me just tell you it was nice. Real rich people shit.
I said goodnight but just as i was walking out the door his hand was around my wrist making me turn back to him
“yes?” i asked
“i don’t even know your name” he stated or asked?
“maybe next time Niklaus” i whispered before disappearing before him.
From that day i actually saw him quite a bit. Sometimes he even came round for food, he was at my door far more often than i had expected and never brought any threats with him, which was odd as in my experience when someone didn’t know what i was they were very demanding and liked to try and kill me.
I managed to help him get the majority of his family back, his brother Elijah was woken up and he then as a result woke the rest of his family. That night Niklaus stayed at my house…in my bed next to me. He had been sat on my doorstep when i got home with tear stains on his soft skin
“my siblings all hate me and my mother is alive” was all he whispered. I simply opened the door and lead him upstairs to my bed so he could lay down, I got ready for bed and got in with him, now i swear that we fell asleep on opposite sides but somehow we woke up with our legs tangled together, his forehead resting on my shoulder and my fingers in his hair.
He went home after breakfast however returning very soon after with a nervous smile and a box. He handed it to me quickly before vamp speeding away making me laugh at his actions.
The box held a gorgeous dress and an invitation to a ball… as his date.
I made sure to consult with my mother, she said that it was a great idea and he would be great for me, that was the last push i needed to know that i should be with him.
Once i arrived he was already in-front of me, pulling me through the crowd to introduce me to his brother Elijah and his sister Rebekah, he wasn’t sure where Kol and Finn were. They seemed thoroughly amused at his eagerness as they looked me over a few times
“you must be the girl he won’t stop blabbing about, at least he was telling the truth, you are remarkably beautiful, i think you’ll do just fine, come we can judge the other peoples outfits” Rebekah already tool my hand dragging me away from Nik and Elijah.
That night i was told many embarrassing stories of Niklaus, i was threatened by Rebekah not to harm him, Finn gave me some dodgey looked and Kol stared at me in utter astonishment. It was an interesting evening.
I got to dance with Niklaus though, he held me close and spoke quietly into my ear, the moment seemed so intimate. I felt safe and warm with him, his arms around my felt like they were protecting me despite my immortal status.
I ended up staying the night with him as well. There was moment where he seemed as though he was about to kiss me but he backed away and decided to show me art room instead. He was unbelievably talented and i made sure to express how impressed i was which he seemed to immensely appreciate and blushed ferociously at. I told him he was cute but apparently that offended him as he then chased me around the house until he tickled me near to death while i thrashed about on his bed. Eventually we fell asleep after many meaningless conversations that somehow brought us closer though i began to feel bad that i wasn’t sharing much about my past or what i was.
The next day i went home early as i needed to consult with my mother and the other gods/goddesses to see if they would allow me to tell him who i was. Once they agreed i went to the grill to find him. However before i could get to him i heard Damon, Stefan, Matt and Caroline all whispering in the alleyway outside
“Caroline you go in and try distract Klaus, he’s bound to go for you. Then Rick will dagger Klaus and we can grab Klaus”
i sat and waited for Niklaus to follow the blonde outside, i could sense his wariness as he suspiciously eyed the girl.
The second he brought his hand up to his chest as a sign of pain, Damon, Stefan and Caroline were all grabbing him trying to get him on the floor. I felt a rush of power as i flung them all in different directions, they sped back quickly trying to throw me at the alley wall. I got up unscratched and snapped Carolines neck with a snap of my fingers. Damon went straight to my neck and buried his teeth in, Klaus’s cry of agony had me ripping the vampire off me and creating a stake in my hand to impale him with before spinning round to find Stefan with a terrified look on his face and a semi conscious Klaus.
Suddenly Elijah was stood there with a grey looking Kol and was threatening them by sending Rebekah to murder Elena. I wasn’t paying much attention as i quickly checked for any damage to Niklaus. His eyes were wide and he seemed incredibly shocked but other than that he was fine. I pulled him up to stand on his feet before wrapping my arms around him and kissing his cheek
“i’m sorry, i shouldn’t have left you this morning, i shouldn’t have let them touch you” i muttered to him and he didn’t hesitate in hugging me back. I slowly pulled away and turned to his brothers, Elijah was clearly surprised as he glanced at the temporarily dead vampires and then back at me. Kol was practically buzzing where he stood
“I can not believe you are real! oh god can i have a hug to!?” I raised both my eyebrows and he threw himself at me and engulfed me into a hug, much to Klaus’s dismay as he growled and shoved his brother off
“what the bloody hell do you think you’re doing!?” he yelled as he pulled me behind him
“you don’t know who she is?? I mean seriously??” he whispered loudly
“She’s like a goddess” he muttered
“Demi-goddess but whatever” i added
“what?” both Elijah and Klaus questioned
“Hecate, you know like the actual goddess of like magic, witchcraft, the night, light, ghosts, necromancy… and the moon! She’s like real powerful, anyways that’s her daughter” he pointed to me with a wide grin and i let out a laugh at the astonishment everyone was expressing
“you know this is fun but maybe we should focus on the psychopathic mother of yours?”
“right… we can return to this at a later date” Elijah mumbled with a scratch if his head before dragging an excited Kol along with him
I turned back to Nik with a guilty expression
“i’m sorry i didn’t tell you… there are certain rules about telling beings from other realms our secrets and i needed to ask for permission. That’s actually why i left this morning, i asked and i was allowed to tell you…i understand if it’s a lot though, of course-“ I was cut off by the feeling of soft lips on mine, effectively shutting me up as i melted against him. Our lips moved together perfectly and it was as though something had shifted in the world, this was the person for me.
“believe me my love, this is just one more thing that i love about you” he whispered while breathing heavily
“i love everything about you” i replied quietly and he blushed once more as he smiled bashfully

Never Die
Tumblr media
(A rewrite of Find Her)
Klaus Mikaelson x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1400 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Esther locked away the only thing Klaus had ever loved, but that isn’t something he’s willing to accept.
——————————————————————————————————
A live like yours could never die.
That was what Niklaus reminded himself every day, when he woke up without you. At his bedside, sat a yellowing, and well loved photograph of you, the only one he had. It had to have been at least a hundred years old at this point, but he didn't really need it.
He couldn’t possibly forget about you, even after all these years when he closed his eyes, he still saw your beautiful face. Right there, painted on the inside of his eyelids, you were there but that was as close as he'd been able to get for a very long time.
He had had many other women since you but none had ever been able to make him feel the same, he simply hadn't loved any of them.
Now, Klaus had come to terms with what happened to you a long time ago, but now that his mother was back from wherever it was she'd been for a thousand years, there was a chance he didn't have to anymore.
She knew where you were.
It had all started a long time ago, when the Mikaelson family was living in Italy. You came from a family of winemakers, and craftsman and it took only days for Niklaus to fall totally in love with you. You had an eye for beauty like he'd never seen before, and it was only natural he be drawn to that.
However, Esther had made it very clear that she didn't approve of the love blooming between you and her most reckless son. So when she gave her children immortal life, she gave you a gift as well.
A coffin.
She didn't have it in her to kill you, of course, knowing just what that would do to Klaus but she wouldn't have you interfering with what she'd done. Then, as if to put a cherry on the top of the entire thing, she buried you and never told anyone where you were.
It was her ultimate revenge against him, to know that you were out there somewhere, alive but he would never find you.
Though, now that she was back and preaching to all of her children about how much she just wanted their family to be back together, Klaus finally had a chance to get you back. All he had to find out was where Esther had hidden you away.
Even now, Klaus couldn’t help his knuckles from clenching at his sides as he thought of it. All this time, you had just been trapped in some horrible tomb for all these years. It crossed his mind only once that you may really be dead, that she didn't give you the gift she gave them.
...But in any case, he had to know.
"Mother, I need to speak to you for a moment" he started, unsure how this entire thing would go down. He had killed her, after all, so she had no real reason to want to help him. The only hope he had was that she could find it in her heart to give you back to him.
He was desperate, even if he looked like a fool, anything would be worth it if only Klaus could find you.
Esther nodded, sitting down on the fainting couch in the center of the room, as if urging him to continue. She had been waiting for this, in all those years on the other side, forced to watch him take life and terrorize everyone he came across.
At first, she even wondered if she had contributed to his rage with what she'd done. It was possible that if he wasn't alone, he wouldn't be so hurt all the time. Still, there was only so much she could do to reconcile that.
...And she wasn't sure if she wanted to.
"I want her back. Where is Y/N?" he asked, not wasting any more time on pleasantries. He had waited plenty, and if you were still out there, he wanted to get to you as quickly as he could. Klaus had waited far too long to hold you again, and it didn't matter what he had to do to get her to tell him.
As long as you came home to him.
Now, Esther didn't really care what Niklaus did, with far more important matters at hand. It was surely going to be nuisance to have you back in her life, but Klaus was almost surely going to be worse if she didn't do as he asked.
So, she did.
~
Over the years, Klaus had tried to narrow down some of the locations where she could have kept you and while most of them didn't pan out in his search, there was one place he'd never even considered.
At the edge of town, there was an old grave site that had been in his family for quite some time, and on those grounds, was a mausoleum.
No one had been there in years and he was sure that it was almost entirely abandoned at this point but as soon as she said it, he knew that she was telling him the truth. It was the perfect place, just under his nose without being too obvious.
Of course that was where she'd hide you.
Until he arrived there, Niklaus had always assumed that she'd buried you underground but when he laid eyes on the marble crypt, that was surely where you were. His flare for the dramatics had come from somewhere and he wouldn't put it past Esther to do something like this.
Had it not been for his supernatural strength, the mausoleum would have been impossible to open but for Klaus, it hardly took much out of him at all. Until, of course, he looked deep inside it and fell to his knees.
There you were.
All this time, you had been peacefully laying on a slab inside the Mikaelson Family Mausoleum.
He felt like a fool, having overlooked this but didn't waste much time with guilt. Instead, he rushed over to your side, looking for any sign that there was still life coursing through you. He wasn't sure if it was possible, for you to be alive after all these years.
“My dearest Y/N, I'm so sorry” he whispers, pulling you into his chest tightly. You didn’t seem to be breathing but he didn’t want to believe that you could be dead. He had been through far too much to accept that without a fight.
So, even though it may have been ill-advised, Niklaus picked you up from where you were and headed back to the house. He didn't know what he was going to do but frankly, Klaus didn't care if he had to track down every witch in the country, someone was going to help him.
The second Klaus entered the house, everything going on inside grinded to a halt. All through the house was his voice, calling for his mother or anyone else who may be able to help, as he just held your body close to him still.
Elijah was the first to answer the clear distress of his brother, unsurprisingly, but even he had nothing to say when he saw what was happening. In the entryway, Klaus was just standing there, holding your unconscious or possibly dead body to his chest.
It was quite the sight.
“How is this possible?” he asked, once he was able to put together what he was seeing to a distant memory he had of you. It was hard to place your face at first but the way Klaus was holding you, as if you were made of glass, told him everything he needed to know.
There was only one person in the history of his life he cared for that much.
Gingerly, Elijah let his hand run down the side of your face, trying to get a feel for if there was a shred of life coursing through you but he got nothing. As long as you'd been locked away, he wasn't sure if you would ever regain consciousness.
However, if his brother had anything to say about it, there was a good chance you'd be back within the realm of the living very soon.
Really, Elijah only knew one thing for sure as he looked between your face and Niklaus, and that was that for once, he pitied their mother.

“What about–?”
“Enough! For the love of God, someone get me a daylight ring. And a blood bag. Please,” you cross your arms over your chest and the guys all nod. “Damon you go make sure Caroline is okay. I don’t want her any more stressed than she already is. Kol you go to Bonnie and tell her I am okay. Please remind her of that. Stefan I need you to ask Kai to get me a daylight ring. Klaus, you and I need to talk. Is everyone good?”
Once again, they all nod and Damon pulls you into a hug.
“Don’t ever die. Please,” he whispers into your hair and you smile, squeezing him before pulling away.
“I won’t if you don’t. Now off you all go. Please,” you chuckle as they all salute you and leave. Except for Klaus. “Right. Where were we?”
“Y/N, I’m--” Klaus begins to speak but you cut him off.
“No, Niklaus. You listen to me. I am tired of you speaking and speaking and not giving me a chance to say anything,” you pace back and forth, shaking your head as you fight to keep your emotions in check. “You have been my friend, my fucking confidant these past four years and then you turn around and pull some shit like this. Why? Why the hell would you do that?”
“Because I was heartbroken. I loved a woman who would only ever love another man. I loved a woman who used me to forget about her epic love,” Klaus’s eyes flash gold as he keeps his emotions at bay, not wanting to provoke you further.
“Did you REALLY think that, Klaus?” You turn to face him, eyes pitch black as the anger and the hunger grow. “Please, pray tell, how many women have you slept with while you were having sex with me?”
“Y/N, I--”
“Answer my question, Klaus,” you grit your teeth, hands turned into fists as you stare him down.
Tumblr media
“I stopped counting after the first 15,” he whispers, looking down as you hold your breath.
“Wow,” you whisper, shaking your head as the unwanted tears run down your face in a fit of anger. “For me, it was only you. I would wait for your return every fucking time.”
“What?” He whispers, looking up as you give him a pained look.
“You were the one person that helped me forget Stefan. When I was with you, I couldn’t think of anything else because you clouded my mind. I could only think about you. I didn’t want our time together to end. So yeah, I was the idiot in the situation,” you shake your head, wiping away the angry tears. “I’ve waited for all the wrong people, Klaus. I waited for Stefan, for you. I loved you. Clearly, that meant nothing to either of you.”
“That’s not true! You meant the world to me, Y/N. You meant everything to me!”
“So why not tell me? Why not tell me what I meant to you?!”
“Because you’re still in love with Stefan!” Klaus turns to face you, eyes golden as his anger gets the best of him.
“I’m not--”
“Spare me the assurance. You’re still in love with Stefan. Me confessing my love wouldn’t have changed that one bit,” he growls, fangs out as he punches the wall.
“I needed closure. Stefan and I never had any closure until now. All I needed from you was a sign. I needed to know that you weren’t just around because you pitied me or because you wanted to have sex or--”
“Do you seriously think I was with you for any of those reasons?” Klaus walks up to you, stopping half a foot away. “Every time I touched you, every time I brushed the hair out of your face, you think it was because I pitied you? Every time I ran you a bath, every time I passed out on top of you after the fact, you think it’s because I only wanted sex?”
“I wasn’t the only one, Klaus! I knew I wasn’t the only one, but I would always hope that I could be!” You yell, not backing down as Klaus leans into you. “I came here hoping that I could get closure from Stefan and find some middle ground with you.”
“So what was that, this morning? Was that closure? He cheated on Ivy with you, Y/N. Tell me, how is she going to find closure?” Klaus lowers his head to level with yours and you look down, unable to look him in the eye.
“You kissed Valerie before I even thought about kissing Stefan. So tell me,” you lift your head up to look at him unapologetically. “Tell me, what was that this morning?”
“I wanted to--”
“To make me jealous? To show me that you were over me? Klaus, please,” you let out an emotionless chuckle, crossing your arms over your chest as you watch him. “You make all these excuses for yourself and you can’t think for one second that you could have prevented all this?”
“So what? This is all my fault?” He glares at you while you look into the distance, deep in thought.
“I mean if I had to answer, hm, then I guess, I would say,” you rub your chin while Klaus grows ever more impatient with you. “Yes, Klaus. This is all your fault.”
“You little--” Before he can finish his sentence, he places a hand on the back of your head and another against your waist as he pulls you close and kisses you.
You’re caught off guard as Klaus’s lips angrily attack yours. You close your eyes and let out an angry growl as your hands wrap around his waist, attempting to even the playing field.
“Oh, love,” Klaus pulls away, a wide smirk on his face as you catch your breath. “If there’s one thing I’ve taught you these past few years, it’s--”
“He likes being in control,” Stefan whispers and you gasp, pulling away from Klaus as the broody vampire steps into the crypt. “Here’s your daylight ring.”
He tosses you the ring and you catch it, a small smile on your face as you forget the awkward tension. The ring is beautiful, identical to the first gift Stefan had ever gotten you. You two were best friends at the time, and he didn’t know what to get you for your birthday. He got you the ring and it’d been spelled with vervain at the time. You couldn’t find it in any of the bags you’d packed for college and you thought it was gone for good.
“Is this?” You smile up at Stefan and he shrugs.
“Yes, it is. I found it in your room a few weeks after you left. I thought it was fitting,” he smiles as you. “Bonnie spelled it for you, she didn’t trust Kai enough.”
You laugh and you notice Klaus looking at you, a hurt expression on his face and suddenly you see the way he’s looked at you all these years. You couldn’t expect him to lay everything down for you while you were still giving your ex googly eyes. You sigh and slip the ring onto your finger. It’s time.

One Day pt.2
Tumblr media
Klaus Mikaelson x Plus size!reader & Elijah Mikaelson x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1563 words
Warnings: none
Summary: The reader thinking about that conversation in 1001 AD, when he made you a million and one promises.
If only anything could be simple.
Part 1
——————————————————————————————————
You did your very best to ignore the past.
Each day, when you woke up in the morning, you made a choice to pretend that the lifetimes you had lived were nothing more than bad dreams. It may have been delusional, but you didn't care.
All you cared about was any amount of self-preservation, and keeping yourself sane. When you had lived as many lives as you had, there was only so much you could do to keep the memories from driving you mad.
However, every once and a while, you found yourself getting pulled into what you had been through all those years ago. You didn't like it, of course, but it was unavoidable. Whether it was thinking about people you'd known or the places you'd been, those thoughts could be intrusive.
For someone who had been alive as long as you had been, it was kind of hard to avoid the past creeping up on you like a bad dream.
You couldn't run away from it forever.
Even now, you found yourself sitting in the parlor, mindlessly thumbing through the large assortment of books on the bookshelves. In all your years of travels, you had collected quite a few novels and scrolls, tales from every corner of the planet.
When there was nothing else for you to do, sometimes you liked to sit here and just stare at the pages. There were a million and one things hidden there, and there was nothing you didn't have at least some knowledge of.
Not that you had any care for any of that right now.
In this moment, you were searching for a single book among the collection. It was hidden behind a big brown book with a broken spine, put there intentionally by your own hand to ensure that no one else could find it.
You had done that purposefully, of course.
Even though there was no real danger of anyone finding it, after all this time, you still had to keep it hidden away. Maybe you were paranoid, or maybe you were foolish but you knew one thing for sure.
Once you were finished with it, this old book would return right where you'd gotten it from and where it would remain forever after that. You sighed, sitting down in the armchair. Every time you did this, it was a bit of an emotional journey but no matter how badly you wanted to just leave it all in the past, you couldn't.
When you finally flipped it open however, you found a few words written there on the front cover. That was all they were, a few words, but they immediately reminded you of why you'd kept it in the first place.
...One day, I will take you far from here, and will never go a day without showing the world how much I love you, utterly and completely...
Gingerly, you let your fingers dance along each delicately written word. You remembered the day Niklaus had written them there, using his blood as ink for the page, determined to start a memoir of the love you two shared.
It was meant to stay a secret, another among the growing list of things that not another soul could find out about.
A novel idea
At the time, you feel deeply in love with the concept, but now, it broke your heart to even hold in your hands. How the time had changed everything, taking hold of the dreams and desires of two young people and twisting them all up.
At this point, those people were some you wouldn't even recognize.
As it would turn out, the desire of a few children was no match for the rage and hatred Michael held within his heart. It was a hatred that forced the breath from your lungs and a ring onto your finger.
A ring that Niklaus hadn't given to you.
No matter what you tried to do, or how much you protested, you worst fears came to pass. You lost Niklaus to his hatred and rejection, and were forced to call his eldest brother your partner in life.
It was true that Mikael was fond enough of you to encourage his most respectable son to marry you, but he had no care at all for what you wanted in life. Maybe he thought that a life with Elijah would be a better one, or maybe he just wanted to see Klaus miserable more than he wanted you to be happy.
You remembered how adamant he'd been, that this was the only path for you. Elijah was going to be a fine husband and though you told him that you no real desire to marry the eldest male, it didn't matter.
At that time, you had chosen to leave out the fact that you'd fallen for his wife's bastard. Something told you it wasn't exactly going to be a selling point, and you knew that deep down, nothing you said would change Mikael's mind.
He made his decision, and the wedding was going to happen.
He didn't need your permission, or anyone elses for that matter.
You and Elijah would be married, and you were. He was kind to you, and understanding of your hesitance and the position you'd been put in. However, Niklaus was far less understanding in that regard.
If he was distant before, he became entirely reclusive after you married his brother. He still loved you, he always would but being near you was far too painful for either of you to endure. This many years later, you tried not to dwell on the decisions made for you in the past.
There was no use in chasing those ghosts.
You had made peace with that a long time ago. Still, as you sat here, flipping through those old, stained pages, you couldn't help but wonder what your life would be like if you'd made a different call.
It wasn't a luxury you'd had hundreds of years ago, but if you had, was it possible that you and Klaus could still be together this many years later? Was the love you thought you felt real, or just the longings of two unhappy kids, trying to make the best of a bad situation?
You weren't sure.
You held onto the idea that you would have, out of pure necessity, but there was really no way to know for sure. You weren't even sure if Niklaus felt that way for you anymore.
Perhaps he had been driven to his feelings for you out of desperation and the desire to not feel as alone as he often did. Perhaps it had never been real, though that idea hurt more than anything else.
You would rather die than imagine that to be true.
Though, before you could entertain such a painful ideal for any longer, you were shocked out of your thoughts by the voice a different man. This man was the same one you'd been attached to for several hundred years now.
Elijah.
He was standing in the doorway with a soft smile on his face, trying to bring you out of whatever it was you were thinking about. "What are you doing, darling?" he asked, entering the room gingerly, after he'd decided it would be okay to do so.
In general, he liked to give you as much space as you required but there was just something about this time, and he knew better than to leave.
He knew, of course he did.
This wasn't the first time Elijah had caught you here, holding that same old book in your hands. He'd never opened it, or even sought it out when you weren't around, but he knew what must have been in it.
He wasn't blind.
All those years ago, when you and Niklaus had started sneaking around behind his father's back, he was the first person to offer any help when you needed it. If Mikael asked too many questions about where you went, or got too hard on Nik when he didn't need to, Elijah was the first to come up with some clever excuse or story.
Even then, he understood what the two of you shared and he had never once questioned you about it.
Your marriage had been forced on the both of you, but you had enough love and respect for one another to just never cross certain boundaries. He didn't ask about Niklaus, and you didn't tell. It had worked this long, and you weren't really itching to break that streak.
However, it was clear to Elijah that whatever you were thinking about was causing you some kind of distress and he couldn't just leave you either. After all, you were his wife, for better or worse, even now.
"He's here y'know? In Mystic Falls" he started, your breath practically leaving your lungs without warning. You had heard some rumors about Niklaus coming back here to build some kind of Hybrid army, but you didn't want to entertain them.
If they were lies, you would be distressing yourself for nothing, and if they were the truth-. If they were the truth, it was simply too much for you to comprehend. You weren't about to entertain any foolish, childish ideas about what it would be like.
Seeing Klaus again after so long, you had no idea how you would react.
...And you didn't want to find out.

Klaus Mikaelson x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1041 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Shopping with Rebekah after Klaus wakes her up and as much as he hates to admit it, you look incredible
——————————————————————————————————
Klaus should have known that bringing you along to help get Rebekah more used to the 21st century was a bad idea.
The only thing worse than one woman obsessed with shoe shopping, would be two.
However, you were their best option at getting her adapted most quickly. You had gone through it too. Everything she was thinking and feeling, you had thought and felt…
Just sooner.
“Where’s the rest of it?” she bellowed from behind the closed dressing room curtain. She had been obsessively trying to pull at the hem of the garments from the last hour and it showed no signs of stopping.
Rebekah was used to floor length gowns, and a lot had changed in a hundred years. Garments like that hadn’t been in fashion for a very long time and she was in for a rude awakening.
You couldn’t help but laugh, standing from your perch, on the side of Klaus’ arm chair. “Trust me sugar, you’ll be glad for that length soon enough” you teased, ducking behind the curtain to help her zip it.
If you could say anything for Rebekah, it was that she was stunningly beautiful. She would be breaking hearts all over the place before she even knew what she was doing.
It was going to be fun.
It had been far too long since you had a gal pal to hang out with. You loved Niklaus, but he wasn’t good for gossip and shopping...unless he was paying.
“I look like a prostitute” she huffed, still fiddling with the hem as she left the enclosed space to show off the look to both men. They had already drank two bottles of champagne, and their boredom wasn’t slowing.
In fact, Stefan got up and left, clearly having had enough of this whole day.
“It’s sexy ‘Bekah, trust me” you assured, swatting her hand away from her thigh. She really had to get over the length thing. You for one had embraced the change completely.
You liked it.
“What do you think, Nik?” you wondered, taking her hand to give her a twirl, showing off the entirety of the dress for him.
He didn’t really care, of course, he didn’t. This whole shopping thing had been your idea in the first place but if there was one thing being married to you for a thousand years had taught him, it was to not fight it too much.
“Black is more your color darling, try gold” he suggested, not a care in the world. However, as soon as he said it, your face lit up.
He was right.
She looked nice in black but with her complexion and hair color, she should try something gold. It would compliment her fairness excellently and maybe she would feel more at home in that.
“You’re right, that will be perfect” you hummed, ushering the blonde back into the dressing room before hurrying over to the racks of dresses that lined the walls.
You should have just asked Klaus in the first place.
With as many years as you’d been dressing this way, he knew about all this fashion stuff. If there was one thing he paid attention to, it was your body and the things that made it look good.
Klaus couldn’t help but grin as he watched you. You got so much joy out of all of this, as you always had.
Even all those years ago, you loved picking the most decadent and expensive fabrics to have your gowns made from. You loved playing with color and fabrics and right now, you were dressing his sister like a doll.
He knew that if he hadn’t brought you, he would already be bored out of his mind.
At least you provided some kind of amusement and comfort to him.
“Do you like this?” You wondered, grabbing a few hangers from the wall, filling your arms with garments. As much as you wanted to help Rebekah find a new wardrobe, it was hard not to do a little shopping for yourself.
You couldn’t help it.
Klaus smiled, standing up from his chair casually before hurrying over to you. He had always been a fan of that damn superhuman speed.
He grinned, taking the hanger from your hand. “I love it” he purred, taking it from you and heading over to his chair once again. You may have made his job easy as far as you were concerned.
However, it would probably take Rebekah a few more hours to find anything that she actually wanted.
Klaus could have shopped for you all by himself if he wanted to and everything would fit perfectly and you’d love every bit of it. Though, it just wasn’t the same here.
Rebekah didn’t even know what kind of style she wanted yet, not to mention the fact that she couldn’t get over the length of anything.
...If she kept it up, you would make her walk around in jeans.
Luckily, before you could once again start gathering armfuls of hangers and garments for her-you found something absolutely perfect.
It was a beautiful dress decorated in gold leaf and wine red fabrics that would be amazing on her. As soon as you saw it, you could hardly contain your excitement, which Klaus could see immediately.
“That’s a wonderful choice, my love” he mused, resting his chin on your shoulder as he admired the dress hanging from your grasp.
There was no doubt in his mind that Rebekah would love it but the only way to be completely sure would be to have her try it on, just to be sure.
You were always up to the challenge.
“You think so? I quite like it but I’m not sure” you hummed, gesturing down to the length of the skirt. It was relatively short but not too bad.
In your opinion, it was the perfect length to start off with.
...Before long, she would be flaunting her body all over town without a problem and you couldn’t wait. You had done it, and Rebekah would be no different.
If anything, she would adapt even better than you had once she got used to everything.
At least, she would if you had anything to say about it.

Little Wolf

Niklaus Mikaelson x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1343 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Klaus’ werewolf gf wants to become a hybrid, but is the danger too much for Nik?
——————————————————————————————————
Niklaus had always been lonely.
In fact, he was the loneliest man in the world, the first and last of his kind.
The closest he’d ever gotten to feeling like he belonged somewhere was when he realized that he was completely and totally in love with you. However, even that couldn’t fill the large hole in his life.
He was the only hybrid to have ever existed and nothing was ever going to change that.
…Not that that was the case anymore.
Klaus had figured out that using the doppelgangers blood actually aided in his creation of his hybrids and Tyler Lockwood was proof of that. Not only was he still breathing, but he was actually thriving and you wanted that.
You wanted that more than you’d ever wanted anything in your life.
“Nicky, I want you to make me a hybrid” you started, your heartbeat quickening as you sat down beside him. Usually it was really hard for you to feel nervous around Klaus but something about this was different.
It was too big of an ask, even for you. Though, you would never be able to forgive yourself if you didn’t ask him.
You lived every moment of your life with Niklaus by your side and you were never going to do anything against him. You two were partners in life, and you wanted to share this with him as well.
You wanted to be a hybrid.
However, that desire didn’t change the fact that before you could even finish your sentence, Klaus was already coming up with ways to shoot you down. You two were mated, which in itself was something that Niklaus never thought would be possible, but the idea of turning you into a hybrid was something else entirely.
There was no way that he could risk your life like that.
Sure, the Lockwood boy hadn’t died but he was only the first. There was no guarantee that Elena’s blood would turn you in the same way, even though you were a werewolf by blood. There was just no way to be sure, and Klaus couldn’t take that risk.
...Not with you.
Other people's lives were a fair gamble but Niklaus couldn’t risk anything killing you. He would never let anything hurt you-and that included himself.
“Absolutely not” he decided, not bothering himself with complicated excuses. You couldn’t become a hybrid without his blood and if he said no, you weren’t going to be able to go behind his back. It was as simple as that, though you seemed to think that it was quite the annoyance.
“What? Why not? Who better than me to be one of your hybrids?” you huffed, crossing your arms in upset. You couldn’t believe that he was being like this but you weren’t going to let his refusal be the end of the conversation.
You were going to become a hybrid, whether he really wanted you to or not.
Now it was Niklaus’ turn to sigh.
He should have known that his darling little wolf wasn’t going to take this lying down. He was going to have to do a lot better than just say no to get you to accept his decision.
“It’s far too dangerous, I would never risk your life in that way” he hummed, turning toward you that much more with a kindness in his tone that would have broken you down if you weren’t so determined.
You wanted to be a hybrid, more than anything and Klaus had no right to deny you of that. Especially not after he took that choice from so many others.
If there was anyone he would take care of, better than anyone, it was you.
...Besides, you weren’t afraid.
You had nothing to be afraid of after all this time.
“Whether or not I risk my life isn’t your choice to make, Niklaus. I am asking you to make me a hybrid...that’s all” you leveled, fully deciding that you were going to tell the truth.
This didn’t need to be anything that had anything to do with your relationship. Right now, you were just a werewolf, asking for an original to make you better.
You wanted that power that came with it, and getting to bond with Nicky on the side, was just a bonus.
...Or so you thought.
It took a few months but as soon as you convinced Niklaus that turning you would turn out just fine, you started wondering if that was the truth.
Was it possible that you had made a mistake in the first place?
As soon as you felt his blood coursing through your veins, his blood dripping down your chin, you weren’t sure. Not for yourself, really, but for Niklaus.
If anything even went remotely wrong, you would never hear the end of it because you had convinced him to take this risk in the first place.
There was pain all over your body though you couldn’t pinpoint exactly where it was coming from. However, you were sure that this would all be worth it, after you stopped feeling like your cells were on fire.
~
You woke up with a start, expecting some residual pain from what you had been feeling before, though there was none.
Instead of pain, you felt incredible. Better than you had in a long time and you could hardly believe it. It seemed to you that everything Niklaus had been worried about was inconsequential but you wouldn’t be able to be sure until you got up.
No one would know anything lying in bed.
Your footsteps were relatively loud in the empty hallway of the house as you made your way toward Klaus’ study but you couldn’t find him anywhere.
It couldn’t have been that long since you had started the entire transition but obviously some time had passed because Klaus wasn’t waiting for you.
...Like you would have expected.
However, as soon as you turned the corner to his study, a wave of relief washed over you. In the center of the room was the man you loved, bustling over a canvas as he so often was.
You had no idea what he was doing, but it didn’t matter. The first thing you wanted to do after waking up was go see him and nothing was going to keep you from doing that.
Not even a painting.
“Good morning” you hummed, wrapping your arms around his waist from the back, nuzzling your face against his sweater. Klaus had heard you coming, of course, but he didn’t want to startle you.
Instead, he let you settle in and then turned to face you with a smile on his face. “How are you?” he wondered, his voice calm and ginger as he surveyed you.
He had no idea what kind of transition you would have, or that you’d already dealt with. You couldn’t even answer him before Klaus started in on his worrying.
The second his eyes met your own, you could see the panic behind them.
“I’m okay Nik, I swear” you assured, smiling at him as his hands fell gently on your face. There was clear evidence of all the pain and stress your body had been under, but it seemed the worst of it was over.
...Or so he hoped.
Niklaus wanted to believe you, he wanted to believe that he didn’t have to worry about you. However, he knew that he’d never be able to get over it.
He’d be worried about you for all of your lives, and he couldn’t help that.
What you had just been through would change everything, and he just hoped that the most painful part was over. If there was more, he wasn’t sure if he could handle it.
Klaus had nearly lost his mind the first time.
Though, you seemed to be doing okay right now. “You’re sure?” he clarified, reaching out to take your hand in his own, giving it a squeeze.
You were, but you could tell that Niklaus was gonna need more convincing than that.

Unbelievably Sentimental
Tumblr media
Niklaus Mikaelson x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1271 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Marcel kidnaps the reader as a way to get leverage against Klaus and he starts losing it at the idea of her getting hurt.
———————————————————————————————————
You'd never taken Klaus for the sentimental kind but that all changed the moment you were in danger. There was just something about you that kept him grounded and without you, there was nothing keeping him from becoming that monster he always feared he was. He couldn't lose you, because to lose you would be to lose the best part of himself.
There was no way he could cope with your death. So there was no option other than tracking you down and saving your life before it could be taken from you.
A feat that Klaus could not complete on his own, he simply had too many enemies in New Orleans.
"I need your help brother, she's missing and I cannot track her down on my own" he begged, kneeling beside his brother. He understood that there was nothing he could say that would or should warrant his brother's help after all he'd done but this wasn't just for Klaus, this was for you.
As much as Elijah realized that his brother deserved to be rejected, he couldn't turn him away. Elijah, of all people, understood what it was like to lose the love of your life and he couldn't possibly force his brother into that kind of miserable existence.
"When did you see her last Niklaus? Is it possible she just went out for a walk?" he teased, hardly glancing up from the pages of his novel to take a look at his brother's face. That was what shook him to his core, he had never seen Klaus looking so lost.
Niklaus was practiced in pain, anger, and hatred but being scared was new for him. It wasn't a feeling he'd felt since he was a teenager, receiving daily beatings at his father's hand. It was hard not to be a tad alarmed on Elijah's end.
"Where have you looked so far? I'll help you find her" he assured, standing from the chair he'd been perched. "I've scoured all of the quarter, except for the bayou and across the lake" Klaus informed, trying his hardest to keep his calm though it wasn't working by any means.
With that, the boys rushed off in search of you. There was no where in the world you could be hidden where he would not find you.
~
On your end of course, you were tied to a chair which wasn't a shock.
You had been in this position before, multiple times but that seemed to be part of the terms and conditions that came with Klaus. As tired as you were of dealing with his baggage, it was worth it to be as in love as you were.
The most alarming thing about your kidnapping was the identity of your captor...Marcel. It made sense why he'd want to take you as leverage against Klaus as a continuation of their back-and-forth turf war but it still seemed like a stupid move.
Apparently, it didn't phase him that every time the two went head-to-head, he lost.
"Really Marcel? Tied to a chair? You should know this doesn't bother me anymore" you groan, looking up at him through strands of hair that had fallen in your face during your kidnapping.
He looked unamused, you were right. He'd kidnapped you more times than you could count, and it was a huge pain in the ass on all sides. "Maybe, but the chair may not be all I have in store" he threatened, wanting nothing more than to kill you now, but he couldn't.
The three of you; Klaus, Yourself and Marcel, all had quite the history together but it would seem that didn't matter to the boy now. "Come now Marcellus, you and I both know that nothing can happen to me as long as Klaus is alive...this game is foolish" you sighed, cracking your neck to the side to try and relieve the tension in the knot forming there.
The action did little to help ease the strain.
Klaus would find you sooner or later and there were very few things that you would enjoy more than curling up in his arms after finding your way home.
That was usually what got you through things like this. Imagining that you were at home, curled up in your bed wrapped in that gray fleece blanket you loved. Imagining that Klaus was by your side, pretending to watch a cheesy movie you'd chosen, all the while snuggling you into his chest.
That's where you should be right now instead of some dank basement you spent too much time in. That was where you wanted to be above all else.
And the only thing keeping you from that was Marcel.
"Truly Marcellus, I would just like to go home" you say, followed closely by a sturdy roll of your eyes. You would have very happily killed him yourself had you been able to move. You were over it.
~
Eventually they did come for you, Elijah and Klaus but by that time, you were so tired of it all that you could hardly keep your eyes open.
"Y/N! Stay with me love" Klaus implored, wrapping your arms around your body with so much urgency that he himself wondering if he was hurting you.
You didn't ask questions about Marcel, where he went and what they'd done to him all seemed terribly unimportant, so you focused strictly on the feeling of his touch against your skin. His hands were warm as they fell upon your face, holding you tighter as if that were even possible.
"I'm not dying Klaus, you know that well enough" you hum, pressing a hot kiss to the side of his face. You couldn't imagine you looked very good after hours of being stuck up here but he didn't seem to mind.
He wanted nothing more than to take you home and never let you go, and that much he intended to do.
You ended up falling asleep in the car on the way back to the compound, exhausted and searching for rest. Rest that Klaus could gladly give you now without fear of retaliation.
~
"Klaus?" You whispered, your eyes slowly opening to find yourself no longer in the car but now in your bed, which was perfectly made and soft against your aching flesh.
There was no answer at first but there didn't need to be, since he never left your side in all the time you'd been home. He had just been standing there above you, his thumb lightly stroking your cheek and his eyes never leaving your soft face.
He wouldn't have anything happen to you, for there was nothing in this world that could hurt him more than your harm.
"Stop staring...it's creepy" you whined, once again cracking a single eye open to find him not moved an inch. He could be a stubborn one.
Klaus couldn't help but chuckle at that, it was foolish to consider something as endearing as admiring you, as creepy. "I'm sorry that once again you were caught in the middle of my quarrels" he hummed, crawling into the bed beside you, wrapping his arms around you in an effort to pull you into his chest.
There was an air of desperation in his movements that forced you to feel more vulnerable than ever before and it was less than pleasant. "Klaus, you stink of guilt...stop" you urged, bringing your lips to his own in a bland attempt to calm his nerves, which seemed to work for only a moment.
You were wrong after all, Klaus was the most sentimental man you'd known or ever would.
