Nobel

Its been too stressful of a day, and you're incredibly tired. You just feel like curling up into a ball and hiding away from everyone else---

Before you've noticed, you've unintentionally slipped into a regressive state. Its comfortable like this, you'd rather not have to do anything but bask--

The door is gently pushed open, and a familiar voice can be heard. "Are you in there..?" It seems as if Nobel's been looking for you for a while, and you turn your head and stare him in the eyes.

Nobel seems to catch on quickly, and strokes your head lightly. In a kind, gentle and almost motherly voice, he breaks the silence. "Darling, are you okay? Did anything of the sort happen today..?"

He lets you cuddle up with him, seeing how you don't seem to be in a good mood to reply yet. He quickly send a message to Einsatz to prepare some milk and cookies (or whatever foods you like) for you, before focusing all his attention towards you, stroking your hair with your head in his arms.

He helps you up and sets you back onto a bed, a couch or anything that you can sit on, before asking if theres anything else you need him to get. You grab his shirt, unable to make out much words apart from blabbering, but mysteriously he understands, and stays by your side.

The two of you spend the next few ours in perfect peace and quiet, a perfect way to unwind.

Ruma

Accidentally ending up in Denta Park, Ruma was surprised to see you there as well. Initially, you were going there to supervise a job for KNoCC and the others, but they weren't able to make it in the end, so you had a bit of free time there.

Ruma offers to go with you, and allow yourself to wind down a little. How calm he is and the tone of his voice calmed you down in an instant, freeing you of whatever worries you initially had.

When you grabbed onto his hand lightly, he remarked "Oya, it sort of feels like I'm a father now doesn't it?", putting you in a comfortable mood to regress. You tug at his clothes slightly, and he gives you a warming smile to ease your worries. After making sure he holds onto your hand properly to avoid getting lost, of course.

You two end up playing a few fair games, similar to the sort you'd use to play in your childhood, and as luck would have it, Ruma managed to score himself quite a few stuffies. You pouted a little on instinct, wondering why you didn't manage to----

"My my, don't make such a sad face. Mr Teddy here says to cheer up, okay? Cheer up, cheer up!" Ruma used one of the stuffies to cover his face, and made a little high-pitched voice to imitate the sound of the bear. It was a sweet gesture, and you giggled a little, reaching out to the bear and spinning him around. Being around him puts you at ease~!

Einsatz

Initially, he was surprised each time you'd regress. He has heard of it and read up on it to understand you better, but he'd often be caught off guard.

But after spending more time together and opening up more to you, Ein has become more attuned to knowing exactly what you need.

It was similar to caring for a child to him, if you wanted to read a book with him, he'd sit down and read it with you until you fell asleep, or read every single book you two could find. If you needed a snack or a drink, he'd come prepared with a full course meal fine-tuned to exactly what you needed. There was a whole section in his charging area dedicated to little stuffies and colouring pencils, all ready at your beck and call

He's ready to pamper you at any moments notice too, just let him quickly drop Ruma and Nobel a 3000 word essay on why he's not going to be able to complete the task they set for him in time. (Don't worry about it Ein, I'm sure they'd get it.) Almost the perfect caretaker, he'd respond to your every need and tuck you into bed with a gentle kiss, one he emulated from doting parents.

Teasing Nobel while bored headcanons~ (platonic/romantic)

To everyone else, Nobel is a cool, collected and mysterious person who always wears a smile on his face.

But you've always been slightly closer to him than everyone else, and might be one of the only few that get to see his rare emotional side. As emotional as an android gets, anyway.

Its been a long day, but you came back with nothing else to do. Everything else seemed like a hassle, and Nobel seemed to be the only one at home. Why don't you go mess around with him then?

You start by prodding him a little bit, specifically at his cheeks.

"Nobel, you really are all white all around, huh? Even your cheeks are a little pale." You remark off-handedly.

Nobel definitely takes notice, and smiles a little bit, a rare 'no thoughts' moment from him. "Hm? Now why did you suddenly bring that up?"

Now of course it would be a little odd to tell him you're teasing him, so you just put your arms around him and heave out a loud sigh. "You're about as white as snow, and cool as it too." You're sort of annoyed from the lack of reaction.

He raises an eyebrow, and stares at you a little more quizzically. "But I'm not cold in any way, am I now?" Seeming to play along, his smile outweighed the disappointment you felt not seeing him flare up in a blush.

You decide to squish and pull his cheeks, being surprisingly stretchy and warm. "I didn't know you were more similar to ice cream mochi, you're as sweet and squishy..!"

Ahh, now Nobel is flustered. You didn't know it was possible for android's cheeks to flare up with that much colour, and he looks away from you, covering his face with his hand and breaking out into laughter. "Is that so---- pwahahahah!!!"

This is the first time you've seen him break out into this much laughter, and blush this much..!!! The sight fills your own face with bright red too, and before you both know it you're both laughing at the top of your lungs with faces more red than an apple.

Einsatz and Ruma return home, likely from Ruma getting lost in the sea again, and Ruma smiles at the two of you. "Oya, Ein, why don't we take a picture to commemorate such a rare event?"

It seems that not only you see Nobel's smiling face as precious... You are later sent a photo of his bright red face, which is rare to see.

Technoroid: Overmind and Unison Heart thoughts

I've just watched the final episode of the Technoroid anime and I've put my thoughts together. May or may not be coherent. Spoilers for the anime and for the entirety of the game's story too because I will mainly be talking about how Overmind connects to Unison Heart

So I'm not going to lie, the SOLE REASON I got into Technoroid in the first place was because of Kite. Listen, he is beautiful (and voiced by Furukawa Makoto). Who could resist that? So I thought I would start by watching the anime because that's leagues easier than getting into a gacha game. I knew the premise of the game (robot idols, yay!), and was extremely surprised to find anime Kite was a human! After the whiplash of episode 1's post credits and a few episodes later, I was already downloading the game because I was curious what exactly the anime is a prologue to. The game starts with KNOCC in sleep mode, in a random storage room in Babel, where the player character (you!) find them and turn them back on. They have no memory of the past. Esora seems surprised to see them awake, but he doesn't ever mention knowing them prior.

Which makes the ending of the anime very confusing to me. I thought something fucked up would happen to them, but the heartwarming ending seems to contradict that. Something ELSE happened between that ending and the start of the game and I'm dying to know what it is.

As for Kite. Yeah I felt his fate at the end of the anime was a bit... anticlimactic. (From now on I will refer to human Kite as Kaito, for ease.) Anyway, because of those prior expectations for KNOCC, I also expected something fucked up to happen to Kaito. My head was swirling with theories as to what could've happened. I just refused to believe it was something so straightforward, I guess. From the way it's looking, it was the twins who suggested they all become robots, and had Esora do the memory download thing for them. (What I don't understand is WHY the twins became robots too when technically only Kaito needs to).

Another thing which is really striking. No one seems to remember who KNOCC is. I mean straight up, it seems that everything about their victory and the incident 10 years ago is being suppressed or covered up. The only people who remember are Esora and Nobel. Not even Bora remembers them.

On the topic of Nobel. Yeah, no I have no idea WHAT he is, still. It's revealed that he's doing (illegal) android research now, though the specifics of that research is still unknown. He says he's doing it for no particular reason, but it's definitely just him being mr. cryptid creachur.

And no, the Stand Alone trio are not aware of their human past, just as KNOCC weren't at the start of the anime. I don't know if robots made from human memories can even boot up while actively remembering all their memories. I guess it might be too shocking to be human and suddenly wake up a robot? Toward near the end of the main story, Kite and Bora get flashes of KNOCC's victory from 10 years ago. In Bora's case, it may be that there's something programmed into the robots to suppress memories from 10 years ago. Meanwhile Kite is starting to realize he has memories of a past Kaito had lived. There has also never been any mention of Kaito's sister in the game. I can only hope she lives a healthy life after that. (Kite's VA even said in an episode of the Technoroid radio that the anime is the first he heard about Nagi, which is hilarious.)

The story of the game so far revolves around a cult that is clearly backed by the robot exclusionists. The specifics aren't important, the most important thing is that they have somehow developed a way to destroy robots through music. They've developed an "android drug", called "Apple". Yes, cool, more religious symbolism. "Apple" basically hijacks into a robot's programming, giving them a feeling of euphoria and freedom (it even overrides their interlock mechanism!), eventually causing a dependency and "killing" the robot permanently. My current theory is, there is a weaker version of this music developed somewhere between Overmind and Unison Heart that erased all memory of KNOCC from every android (bar Nobel).

As you can see, there's a whole lot of unanswered questions, and I'm sorely hoping for a season 2 of the game story. There's a lot of strings to connect and tie, still. I have other (much more sentimental) thoughts on the human themes that Technoroid touches (and about Kaito/Kite), but that'll have to wait for some other time.

De todas formas, lo que más dolió fue que Cobalt pronunciara el "Todo fue por tu culpa" AAAAAHHHH

Y pasó precisamente lo que esperaba... ¡Nobel por la mierda! Lo amo, aunque haya destruído todo lo bonito que surgió a lo largo de los capítulos anteriores. PERO~ tiene sentido, es un androide y está cumpliendo con el propósito de su creación, aunque me hace dudar hasta qué punto trabaja su libre albedrío (como inteligencia artificial), porque era un poquito evidente que conocía el resultado de revelar el pasado del profesor. ¿Es finalmente un antagonista?

Adoro lo sutiles y preciosos que son los personajes de Nojima ywy 💕 (ahora tengo más ganas de un Albedo como antagonista shskhdaksb)
