GLADLY!!!!! aughhgh im SO glad people want to know about them i wanted to talk about them so bad!!! i have 300 million ideas. Ill give you the highlights <3 and a couple old sketches!!! under the cut so i dont clutter the tag TOO much :p

I saw someone mention their dimensional code in the tags and that was not an accident!!!! i DID pick x33 JUST bc it looks like a cute little emoticon <333 it went through a bunch of variants before i landed on that one and it was the right choice i think

Rick x33 didnt LIVEE on the citadel but he did work there!! up until it was destroyed ofc :P he runs what is basically a knockoff hot topic called “Bloody Morty” (like bloody mary <3). 

The tagline for the bloody morty  is “Memento Morty” which is. also a pun skldfhksd. The phrase it comes from, Memento Mori, is “remember death” or “death remembers” in latin, which colloquially translates to “Don’t take anything for granted.” the pun is obviously just a play on words, but its also sort of a reminder to ricks on the citadel. It would mean “remember morty” or “morty remembers” or,,,, “Don’t take Morty for granted” :]

He is a terrible business man and WILL price everything based on how much he likes you personally. You’re a Morty who wandered in to buy something behind your Rick’s back? It’s on the house, don’t even worry about it. You’re a Rick who dragged his Morty in here by the arm after yelling at him outside? Fuck you. This single pin is now thirty dollars.

Flesh Curtains Era Rick x33 ALSO had very wild fashion. As did the whole band honestly. Back then, though, Rick used to dye his hair like once a week. It was always a new color. He would paint Squanchy’s fur/BP’s feathers with the dye, too, so they all had a fun new look for every show!! When he went blue, though, he switched brands, and didn’t notice until AFTER dying his hair/dying Squanchy and Bp’s fur/feathers, that this dye was made to last…forever. It BECOMES your natural hair color. You could shave your head and it would grow back blue. He could dye on top of it, but ever since then he’d pretty much exclusively stayed blue, and BP/Squanchy now have permanent dye patterns in their feathers and fur long after growing out of their Phases

Speaking of BP, Rick x33 has the same little badge on a necklace that BP has on his collar. I like to think he gave him that necklace at Blood Ridge <3

Rick also has a yellow locket! This is to match Morty’s teal felt heart on his chest. They’re wearing each others colors!

Morty’s earrings look like Fleeb!! :3 

Morty does a lot of graphic design work for the store, since he knows what Morty’s like and this store is mostly for them :P lots of “”cringey”” unlicensed merch for things like FNAF and Warrior Cats are in here :3

Morty also spends a lot of time watching/making AMV’s or edits and such <3 Even drawing!!

Morty is very social and gets along super well with other Morty’s :] He likes to hang around the citadel and make kandi and rainbow loom with all the friends he makes. You’ll run into a lot of Morty’s with ‘memento morty’ spelled out in beads on their bracelets. Its like his version of a ‘best friends’ necklace for every morty hes ever befriended!

Morty x33 is very well liked by other Morty’s on the Citadel. Most Morty’s like Rick x33 too!! Not true for other Rick’s though. If they don’t OUTRIGHT HATE rick x33, they probably at least think he’s annoying as fuck

awwww thank you so much, it makes me so happy to hear that you like my zeldas <3 and yeah idk why lu got so popular compared to other ones-- ive mentioned this before, but ive been in the fandom since i was like, 9. not just a fan but like actually in the fandom, cosplays (not halloween costumes, honest to go cosplay), fan art (posted to DA, of course, XD) fanfics (written in my fluffy early 2000s heart locket diary that i read out loud to the fellow campers at church camp) FAN SONGS AND AMVS the whole 9 yards. so i have seen thousands of links meet aus come and go, even before skyward sword came out. hell, i distinctly remember 'links meet spandex aus' (*shudders* if you dont know what the skyswd spandex au was, dont look it up, it's nasty) so i have no idea what makes lu so special. the art maybe? but jojo isnt the only links meet fan comic out there (like linked maze, linkverse, bonus links, all of which rock but i wont tag bc i doubt they want to be associated with fandom wank-- but you should def check them out!! especially linkverse, mina is a wonderful artist and so sweet) and certainly wasn't the first links meet fancomic. they were all the rage on DA once skyward sword established a lot of new lore, and you can still find them archived on there, and even before link meet fancomics became common, link meet aus were alllllll over fanfic.net. one common one that i have remember being insanely popular is the links watching each other play their games and remarking on them, a trope that was super common post skyswd release but has fallen out of fashion. jojo is a wonderful artist, with interesting and creative designs, but jojo isn't the end all be all, ya know?

idk, in the nicest way possible, lu is one version of a very common, very old trope that has been around since the fandom started, and it is no better (or worse!) than any other links meet, and its fandom has no reason to be as stuffy, overprotective, or self-absorbed as it unfortunately can be when at the end of the day, its comic is just one out of a million.

1. Blue Rose, by Somo

I did think this would be a good song for Yami and Charlotte. Of course, because of the title and a line "wishing on a four leaf clover". I like the soft beat it has and use this for some of my softer moments i want to write or draw.

2. What lovers do, by Maroon 5

This is from waaaay down on the playlist i dont remember any significance it may have held for me or my ships XD i think it was one of those songs I tend to brainrot to or just play, as with my ADHD I'm always thinking all the time about things and music tends to help me focus.

3. Mgno, by Russell Dickerson

This is one of my feel-good songs. One you play to just get the good vibes and energetic feel to your day! Brings to mind dancing people, bouncing, running, and just having a good time!

4. Mikazuki, by Sayuri

I don't exactly remember why I've had this song? The beat sounds nice, and I can imagine some nice scenes to it. But it must have been way down on the list because I really cant remember much. I must have likes it just for the beat.

5. Choice Scarf, by Signal

This is another song that's a bouncy feel-good tune. These are probably some of my favorites. I have quite a few with this similar theme with the vibrating beats and not many lyrics.

6. September-San, by Radwimps

This link isn't the original song but a cover version I liked more. It's softer and more "cute" sounding with the two girls singing. It is Japanese because I'm a huge nerd. I really like a lot of Radwimps music too, they have made things for a lot of Anime Movies you've maybe seen, one of their more well-known ones being "weathering with you."

7. Used To, by Damper (damperghost)

I really like future bass (‘-‘*) its a music genre I find a lot of music i enjoy. I use it for a lot of things like writing, drawing or just playing casually in the BG

8. Nonsense speaker, by Nekobolo

This is a song I have held onto for a long time, and the lyrics may be triggering for people, so PLEASE LISTEN WITH CAUTION. Heavy themes of depression and more. This is a cover by Lollia and is an english translation. It has similar themes to a song called "rolling girl" which some people may know, i know it was kind of famous in some circles. I use this song as a kind of "theme" (one of many) for my Bleach Oc Sakurana, who did not have a happy and loving upbringing, and it affected through her whole life.

9. Karano Kokoro, by Anly

This song is one of the two I've picked to be an ending theme for Silver Season if it was animated. And would specifically display images of Briar and what her life was like before everything had gone bad; so playing with her sisters when they were little, visiting The Lorelai when she had the chance, and seeing the other fairies and who they were before things took a turn for the worst. There is a short English cover by Liz Robinett if you really wanna appreciate the lyrics and how they play in who Briar is and her development with Nozel.

10. Beautiful, by Treasure

And of COURSE OF ONE MY FAVORITE BLACK CLOVER SONG'S HAD TO MAKE AN APPERANCE. This is one of the ending themes for Black Clovers anime, the 13th one, to be specific. Listening to it play while watching the ending or an AMV someone made to it easily makes me emotional. I am a huge simp and can be brought to tears with this song and Everlasting Shine by Tomorrow X Together. If you haven't seen either, please click the links. The animation is so nice.

As someone who does art, if someone use your picture for things like making a collage or something related without giving you credit- either they know the picture is yours or they don’t know it’s yours -will you, let them? Like, will it be consider an insult and make you feel unappreciated? Just had something in mind...

What if instead of putting your name, they simply say “credits to the owners”, due to not knowing exactly are the owner of the drawing?

Will you feel offended, in any way?

tldr: if youre doing it for your own personal use (meaning you are the only one who sees it, and wont post online) then please feel free to do so. if you are posting this collage online, you can do so but please give credit, cause i drew the original image in the first place. please dont confuse this with me allowing reposts. i only allow my work to be used in collages, amvs, etc. because its someone turning my work into something new. theres creativity behind it. and dont even say “credit to the original owners” to me, it lights a raging fire in me that can compare to no other

and here is the longwinded explanation :D

for me, it all depends on whether the collage is for personal use or if its going to be reshared online. personal use means only you or some select friends/family  will see it. i know some people like to do collages for fun as a personal hobby and i think thats really cool and i would definitely allow my art to be used for something like that ^^! something like this will fall under personal use. using art as phone wallpapers also falls under this category (which is why you dont have to ask for my permission to use my stuff as wallpapers ^v^) because youre the only one seeing/using it!

of course, there are some people who use art for edits/amvs/collages that they post online like you said and i think thats great. i know i have no reposting in my bio, but for people who make these edits using others art, they are using their own creativity to make something new, with a work that i drew!!! i think thats super cool so of course i allow it. with. credit. im very thankful to the people who asked me for my permission first though, because it shows they care about the original artist ;v;. online, multiple eyes are seeing it and artists should be given credit when credit is due. reposting tho? no creativity at all. the laziest thing you can do to a piece of work. download image, upload to another site, post.

and i absolutely hate whenever i see “credits to the owner” because to me its the laziest and most disrespectful thing you can do to an artist. just the phrasing...irks me. like the person recognizes that they dont own the piece, the artist is the owner, and yet they are still reposting without permission. even a repost with no caption fills me with less rage than a “credits to the owner” so yes, i will be offended. please dont do that

and in some cases there is a watermark on the piece itself!!! clearly written!!! in plain view!!!! and yet people still write “credits to the owner”. like no, the owners name is clearly written on the watermark. plus it takes not even 5 minutes to put an image into a reverse image searcher and find the original artist. i have done this multiple times because yes, reposting without credit is really that common unfortunately and troublesome for people (me) who want to follow and support the original artists :/// my art has gotten reposted COUNTLESS of times with and without credit, and at this point ive given up on keeping track of and reporting them all cause theres just so many. im convinced i am aware of only 5% of all my art thats gotten reposted. 

so to me, as a person who has gotten my art reposted countless of times, saying “credit to the owner”, even though i have written in both of my account descriptions NO REPOSTING in all capital letters, and have watermarked most of my work, is very disrespectful. i remember when my work started getting reposted A LOT for the first time, and i would get super angry every time it happened, and that rage has fizzled out now but it still remains. i still hate reposting with a burning passion.

i understand theres the innocent kind of reposting where the person is like “this art is so cool! i want to share this with everyone i know!!” (i know cause i did this in the past when i was a stupid kid) and then theres the kind of reposting that tries to gain likes and followers...off of someone elses work. off of something that they have not even made or own. how do you tell the difference between these kinds of reposting? the second one will probably have 100 something tags in the description :/...how lazy could that be? to use someone elses work for your own personal gain. my work is my work alone. if you want to get big on social media, do it with your own work. period.

i know im not alone on this because there is not a single artist i have seen who allows reposts with no credit. (and some reposters have the gall to say theyve done nothing wronggg oooooooo how inconsiderate can they possibly be ooooo im gonna kick them) theres some artists who dont allow reposts at all, no matter what condition, and i completely understand because someones art is their intellectual property, im done.

in conclusion please be considerate to artists, we already got it rough as it is ;-; (sorry for the super long answer ;;;;)

I can clearly remember the first and last fanart submission here on tumblr! :D🙌💖 (first by our lovely @/sweetylittlebirdie 💕and last by our queen @/mika-hime✨)

I can't remember that ⬆ for fanfics on ao3 but the first and last fics I left a comment on were both to the same author! And that was for @/piperemerald <3

I reblogged a total of 3 posts relating to norryaweek! One which was an art made by our goddess @/justanotherbnhalover because her art kills me like that xD the other one was the amv I keep talking about which was made by our girl @/mika-hime because it was just so beautiful! And the last one was a mini fic by @/vidaflxwer cause omg I c r i e d- so yeah X3 I had a quite a lot of stuff to say about all those three things and the idea of leaving multiple comments never crossed my mind at first. So I ended up gushing about it on the tags😂💖

The hardest part of norrayweek was easily making my orgins post cause i kept going back and editing it and then the little shit didnt even show up in the tags😂

There were two fanarts that I didnt leave a comment on at first cause I personally gushed to the creator about it through the chat box. But when I was going through the tag again I found those two arts and gave the creators a comment😂💖

yooo so just remembered @britneyshakespeare the divine & sublime rockstar herself tagged me like a couple weeks ago to do this shakespeare tag and even though my very extensive reading history of shakespeare works consists of romeo & juliet, macbeth, and literally nothing else im extremely bored and too much of a sucker for tag things to not want to do it 

1. The first production you ever saw:

i have never even remotely seen a shakespeare play live but in terms of just anything ever the first play i ever saw live would probably be my middle school’s production of the little mermaid jr circa 7th grade

2. A line that gets stuck in your head:

“I burn, I pine, I perish!” from the taming of the shrew im aware but of course im only familiar through jgl’s delivery of it from the 1999 classic 10 things i hate about you. really like & relate to that line a lot (not necessarily in a romantic sense but like in an overall yearning/dissatisfaction w life sense) 

3. A production you’d fantasize about directing:

i could try but would it ever live up to baz luhrmann’s romeo + juliet (1996)? i think not

4. A character you’d fantasize about playing:

oh me? idk im not much of an actress and would feel extremely undeserving playing some of the really cool characters like mercutio or lady macbeth... id be content maybe playing one of the 3 witches though thatd be kickass and also they speak all together a lot and don’t have too too many lines.

or peter from romeo and juliet who i absolutely remember nothing about but would totally be fit for playing based on this sparknotes description of him 

5. A character you’d fantasize about dating:

not entirely into the romance thing but if i had go w my stereotypical useless wlw gut yes i totally find lady macbeth h*t. also i just,, Know rosaline from romeo and juliet is Not Straight like will.i.am shakespeare couldn’t have made it any more obvious

honestly? macduff is stuck up and annoying and would totally attempt to fight even if he cuts my head off

baz luhrmann not over romeo + juliet but the great gatsby (2013). soundtrack was,, bad and also focused a little too much on the gaudiness and not enough on the intricately repressed homosexuality. the taylor swift you belong with me gatsby-nick amv was infinitely better

8. The play you’ve never seen performed that you most want to (alternately: the play you’ve never seen performed well that you most want to):

havent seen a shakespeare play ever but honestly would be game 2 see any!! like not just the couple ive read but really any one,, from what ive heard feel like hamlet or a midsummer night’s dream would be a trip 2 see live outdoors in a lawn chair chilling & eating a hot dog or something

would love to know of the other escapades the 3 witches have been on. what other lives have they ruined. also of course rosaline like would highly enjoy hearing her perspective on things (since i think she’s like related to juliet and all so she’d probably be filled in on parts of the story)

the aforementioned “i burn i pine i perish”. also i vaguely remember juliet’s little monologue in act 2 scene 5 because i had 2 film myself performing it in 9th grade for an english project

10 GIFs of Anime that You Love, Then Tag 10 People

Durarara

One of the first few anime I watched. I adored how the intricate stories were intertwined with others; how a bystander in one scene could be a hero or a villain in another. A choice that one makes can easily have devestaring consequences. And of course, the mastermind himself: Orihara Izaya.

Death Note

Oldie, yes. Overrated, probably. Completely worth watching and still able to discuss a decade after completion? Along with a few movies, musical adaptations, and a live action remake? Oh, yes!

Favorite characters are Near and Misa. The former for his cool nature that resembles L’s, but ultimately serves as a better allegory for Justice because he doesn’t find Kira for fun. No, he captures and probably would have him imprisoned for life because it’s his duty as L’s successor. He’s also heavily under-appreciated by the fandom. The latter for her adaptability and unpredictability in situations. Did you guys watch the Yorsuba arc? The girl was calculating how cute she was going to be. Plus, she’s not mentally well (her parents were murdered in front of her), but she still managed to handle herself SO WELL during her time as a prisoner under L’s inhuman methods to seek out the Second Kira. Again, she’s under-appreciated.

Death Parade

Brilliant idea. Has a possible tie in to Death Note. The opening was laughably so misleading!

There are some flaws, like plot holes and unfinished storylines, but it held up pretty well. We learned about the characters through how they interact with one another—especially when put under pressure. The Arbiters are amazing in that they can’t question the system, and yet, in the end, Decim tries to understand and formulate how Chiyuki is going to be finally put to rest.

If nothing else, just watch for the skating scene and the opening sequence.

I’m not that great science, but I have been intimately acquainted with how the body works (I’m frankly disappointed no one has called 1146 a granulocyte yet and we haven’t seen any neurons in the manga 😞). Also...3803 is basically me: I’m terrible at directions, I’m continuously learning new things because I moved away, and the way she met 1146...is kind of how I met my best friend, hehehe.

That said, I’m really in love with this anime/manga fandom and hope to continue writing for it. (Insert self promotion: please read my fanfics on my main platform which is ffnet!)

This show made me love geography and my country so much. It’s funny, it’s hilarious, and it’s so heartwarming how the fandom likes to make all sorts of fanmade stuff to expand on what Hima-papa gives us. (YES, IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 2018, I SHALL REFER TO HIMARYU-SENSEI AS HIMA-PAPA. FIGHT ME.)

Is Hetalia dead? I don’t know, but the fandom and one particular FanFiction by @cultureandseptember really helped me out a few years back.

Bungou Stray Dogs

I love literature, good looking animation, and smarmy little know-it-alls who like to play the fool. Hehehe, I’m planning on reading No Longer Human when I get the time. Does that mean Osamu Dazai is my favorite character? Well...

Can you blame me if I said yes? He’s so charming and enigmatic that you can’t help but love him. However, I think I really love him because I struggle with dark thoughts and suicidal ideation from time to time. I haven’t actively sought it out quite like he has in the past, but well... hehehe! I can also relate because he’s kind of like an outsider in the Agency due to his past—he’s different because he can’t actively cancel out your abilities, which always makes him a threat.

Anywhoozles, I’m still waiting to see the movie...Le sigh.

K Project

This. This is not the best anime out there. Seriously.

The animation gets wonky here and there, they do the women in here a huge disservice, and they put too much emphasis on how great Mikoto Suoh. Like, he’s great and all, but the dude has no effect on the story except for the last season.

With that said, I think the main selling point here isn’t the anime, but the side materials like the manga/novels. You get to appreciate the backstories of so many of the characters and you get to feel for them because some of them have suffered so much! (Read: Fushimi Saruhiko).

I think you can get the same amount of enjoyment if you stick to the novels/manga.

Favorite characters: Scepter 4 Alphabet Squad. They are the best boys. Also, Lieutenant Awashima Seri. And Fushimi Saruhiko. You know what? Just put down Blue Clan here. They’re all nerds and they enjoy it.

Also: Domyoiji Andy reminds me of U-4989 from CAW. So...

Violet Evergarden

Remember how I said that I liked literature? This entire anime is about the power of not only the written word, but of also the act of writing, sending, and receiving those words. The anime may be episodic in nature, but you can really connect with the character through her terrible backstory and really feel for her when she realizes that she needs to face her past. PTSD is real and I think the anime really handled the post war aspect of this torn down world really well.

I’m also a sucker for typewriters, steam punk, and characters that don’t really know how to function in society (but learn over the course of the story).

Watch this if you want feels...and get ready for episode ten.

Samurai Champloo

This takes place in feudal era Japan.

But there’s rapping.

And breakdancing.

And guys spraying paint everywhere.

Also, there’s a sunflower samurai we gotta look for???

Hahahah, while episodic in nature, this was a joy to watch. You never get to know the characters really well and when we reach our mission’s end, it seems to fall short, but it’s not about that. The journey is what makes this anime worth it simply because the characters interactions are rife with hilarity and all three mains balance each other out. There’s a fanfic out there that describes them in detail, but in a succinct manner that had me melting. Anyway, for those of you who have watched it, I sincerely hope that they meet again in the future.

(But, let’s be real. They probably didn’t).

Guys.

This isn’t a joke.

I have a soft spot for this anime because this was my first ever anime I watched where I realized that this was anime. This was like my gateway anime. Not Sailor Moon. Not Naruto.

Looking back on this, it wasn’t the best—it’s your typical monster of the week deal with some environmental activism involved but for what it’s worth...it’s good??? Like, even the 4Kids dub (DONT CRUCIFY ME) even added some songs that were really great??? Bree Sharp’s Don’t Wake Me Up was my jam??? It fit better than the original Japanese counterpart???

TMM also introduced me to shipping, FanFiction, and amvs. That’s right, without this little gem, I would be writing/writing/thinking about FanFiction. I probably wouldn’t have been an anime watcher without this magical girl anime from the early 2000s.

So, yeah. This anime will always have a place in my heart because without it, I probably wouldn’t have become the person I am today. Thank you, Tokyo Mew Mew.

(This was also the birth of my first OTP before I knew what OTPs were: Kisshu/Ichigo...although nowadays, people are calling them Quiche/Strawberry? Hehehe, there’s so many things wrong here, I only like interactions, not the implications. That’s why I’m completely okay with Aoyama/Ichigo being endgame—and they’re actually really cute in the sequel manga???)

(this sounds so sad lmao. )and I met my two best friends over an plattform called “SchülerVZ” :) (which was like facebook but for german students lol. there where also some called “StudiVZ” for college-students and “MeinVZ” for adults. xD)and I’m sooo happy I met them both because both are really wonderful and kind persons and they deserve so much, especially the one I don’t see that often. Cause both helped me over a difficult time where I got bullied in school and yeah. I love them both so so so so much and I’m really proud of them! I just wished that the one I don’t ree often would live closer to me so I could visit her more often :( its always really shitty if one of us has a bad day and the only thing we can do is talking over phone or discord or something and yeah…but there is a chance that she might visit me in december and I really hope she does!

Its actually funny, i cant remember ANYTHING from the movie. I have literally only watched it once and that was like 6 months ago. Im not exactly sure WHY i even enjoyed it so much, from what i remember i thought the movie was weird and too loud for me (and kind of obnoxious sometimes) but then again i was experiencing it with my uncle so it must've lowered that a bit.

I've known invader zim ever since it aired on Nickelodeon i think? i use to sometimes watch it when it would air? I dont actually remember. sadly i cant remember what i ever thought of the show nor remember any episodes. i think i was like 'oh invader zim is on? i guess ill watch it' Then again I was also a child watching the show. Aside from the airings only a few years ago i would SOMETIMES watch it when eating dinner (specifically from hulu) I was never into it and i just thought it was something to watch while eating food.

When the movie got announced in 2017 i remember being excited for it? i vaugely remember saying how cool it is and how i loved the artstyle. And how i would LOVE to watch it when it comes out. I never really thought of anything else of it, i just thought itd be fun to watch with someone. It took like until 2020 to FINALLY watch it. The only reason i watched it was because according to my uncle it was pretty good (and my brother as well) I wouldnt even bothered watching the movie if it wasnt because my uncle was watching it with me.

When watching it i didnt recognize some characters... Its actually funny, i didnt even know who minimoose was and I was so confused who he was when watching the movie since i didnt recognize him from the show ( appenretly i only watched a few episodes of the first season?) But then again that didnt bother me at all, i just though it was a movie to watch with someone.

I Thought the movie was...whatever? it was a cool movie to watch with someone and i didnt really think anything else from it. The only reason I actually bothered looking at the invader zim fandom was because zadr.

When watching the movie i would always joke about ZIM X DIB!!!! WOWWWW THEY R MARRIED!!!! (sad i know) and (SADLY) after the movie finished i looked up zim x dib amv and videos to watch with my uncle and would laugh about it. I cant rmemeber any of the amv's i watched but i do rmember an inimoose drawing being in one of them and clearly rmember my uncle saying "why is he so tall????" <<talking about dib; specifically the one where zim is being pinned by dib from a locker<< and i just remember thinking the art being weird since dib looked like an anime boy. I would also look up other "zim x dib" stuff becuase i just wanted to be "cringy" with my uncle since i thought that was really funny. (spoilers: it wasn't)

when looking up amvs i was really confused about what the ship name was. I would always think "what is the ship name spelled???? it cant be zib or dim" that had actually kept me up at night until i looked it up a day or two after watching the movie. i just remember it finding out it was called "zadr" and literally the first thing i did with that information was look it up on tumblr.

On 2020 November 1st (or 2nd?) the fire nation attacked. When seeing it in the tags i was SO surprised by how many posts their were in the tags. i actually ended up scrolling for like. 30 minutes. after scrolling all i thought was "wowww this ship is actually pretty cool :)" And the first thing i reblogged that was invader zim was art by coconut...something? im so sorry i forgot their name. (it was also zadr)

The second one i ever reblogged was by bamsara, that fireworks comic. i thought it was SO CUTE and they where actually the first invader zim artist i actually followed. After finding about that comic and his other art from the zadr tags i was really interested in his au! So i actually looked up zadr in their blogged and was basically bombarded with a BUNCH of content. So in like one day, i learned about ALOT of their au and i loved it alot honestly. After a few days i actually read their fanfic and binged the whole series up to that day and i loved it SO MUCH; its so good.

It was actually because of bamsara i read and even like zadr or invader zim, im really thankful for his content :) I would just. stalk the zadr tags on tumblr and after reading bamsara series i started reading fanfictions from ao3. Actually aside from bamsara one of the first fanfics i read was from hamletmustdie because that comic someone made comic of their prom fic. (found out about it from stalking the tags, or if bamsara reblogged it? i dont remember)

Then after reading hamletmustdie's fic i binge read all their zadr fics as well.... i love reading them- they honestly inspire me greatly for even writing.

Because of hamletmustdie and bamsara i kind of just im the fandom i guess? And becuase of their works in the fandom i kind of know about things. I still dont really know anything about the comics and the show, but i have been VERY VERY slowly watching it again (Originally i thought zib was some fan chatacter). I find the comedy pretty funny now and i think i would now actually enjoy the movie :)

hahaah sorry for rambling!!! im glad you enjoy my fic :D im nearly done with the second chapter!!! It means alot to me that people look forward to see what would happen; i still feel very nervous about writing since this was my first experience ever- but none the less im glad people enjoy it :)

so its safe to say I’ve shipped quite a number of pairings

Puppyshipping is number one

always has been, always will be

I’ll full on admit that when it comes to non serious trivial things (fandom shit to put it simply) I can be pretty easily swayed, its a flaw of mine

changing ship names that have been around since the beginning, I’m for it and I’m not for it

changing problematic ship names I was definitely for, they were rooted in sexism, racism and abelism

when people suggested renaming Puppyshipping there was a part of me that was like YAASSSSSS and then the other part, the part that clings onto nostalgia and hates change was like NOOOOO LEAVE IT BEEEEE

if I’ve to reach deep down inside if someone was to ask me if I would truly be onboard with a name change to Puppyshipping, I think my answer would be no

but how I see it lately is the ygo fandom is just… all over the damn place

especially with ship names

majority rules tbh

and the majority does seem to want to change the name

I’m not for it bc its a huge ship so there’s a lot of shit for it UNDER that name that goes back over 10 years and we’re now going to split that up

the tendershippers did it with their ship by changing it to stockholmshipping or something like that, and I dont think they’ve any problems???

but PERSONALLY I’m all for keeping it under the ONE tag

not one day looking for something and going “damn… did I remember seeing that in the original tag or the new tag?” or “damn I cant remember the name of that amv, did that person who made it have puppyshipping or the new ship name in the title” and so you have to search both constantly

if you’re going to rename a ship so big, don’t do the following

1. name it in a way that people cannot immediately connect to the characters in said ship

2. name it after a fucking colour, do you know how many colour ships this fandom has between all 5 series with a 6th on the way?????

for a BIG ship like Puppyshipping, give it a MEMORABLE name that REALLY connects to two in a perfect way

yes I know Dragonshipping would have been way more suitable to Joey and Kaiba, but naming it after their combined eye colour or something like that? who is gonna know that’s what the definiton of the ship name is??

that would make more sense for Marik x Mai and people would be able to figure out why when it comes to those two WAY faster than it would be for Kaiba x Joey

so please for the love of God, if you’re gonna rename the ship, give it something that fits perfectly, something that’s memorable, and that the MAJORITY agrees with

don’t be so impatient to try and change the name immediately just so you can start labelling it as something different

They Soft and Good Gift for Friend. or i guess learning to sew in general would be really good; i could make my own nice clothes and plushies of whatever I wanted and, like I said, help friends out and give them really nice, really unique gifts. there’s probably a lot of other stuff you can do with sewing that I’m not remembering right now.
