attention: ppl with ocs

hey guys! me and talon (formerly neon-rat, now @vilestanzas) were thinking about setting up an oc discord server and wanted to gauge interest here. we both miss being able to share content and interact with other writers, and i know a lot of people in the danger days fandom had ocs of their own or had written the fab four so specific to their interpretation that they were practically ocs anyway, so we wanted to see if anybody would be interested in this kind of server. it would be a server for all ocs of any kind, set in any universe. please interact if you think this is something you'd find fun so we can know if it's worth it to pursue!

I think way too much about the fact that the check to find out about René being in love with Gaston is only possible for one day. The quest doesn't start until day four, and René is dead by day five. There's nothing to be done about it, not nearly enough time to even start unpacking it. His last words to Gaston are so harsh. They never stood a chance.

True love is possible only in the next world - for new people. It is too late for us.

writing my young harry/kim au has me thinking about how it seems pretty clear that harry regretted leaving his gym teaching job before his amnesia. the mentions of harry’s teaching days are tinged with nostalgia and melancholy that don’t seem to just be caused by harry idealizing his youth or the years he was still with dora:

[Og] *468. YOU - "You said in Couron? I was a gym teacher there?"

thinking about how harry would have been a great teacher to “problem” kids. how he would have understood and empathized with their hyperactivity/lack of focus/lack of impulse control. how he would be encouraging and funny and a good influence on kids who probably had difficult lives
