1. Ok so, aside from Tippi because that's too easy lol (she's actually an important role model character for me!) I'd have to say I really like Thudley. It's silly but I just love his face, and the whole girth obsession gets me laughing every time (especially if you're playing as Bowser). I think of him every time I read or hear (or write) the word "girth".

I mean look at this guy, how can you not love him.

2. If we're only talking about actual Ancients and not their still-living descendants, then... Merlumina's unnamed sister who delivered the pure heart to the first King Sammer and fell in love with him. They had 100 kids which is presumably why the king now keeps 100 guardian warriors traditionally. And I mean damn girl!!! (I actually love Sammer's Kingdom and even the whole silly challenge, and the Sammer Guys and all their names, so... thanks to her)

3. Probably the Underwhere; I enjoy Greek mythology and love the concept of the Mario world having an underworld like this. The aesthetics and music are amazing and evocative, the "family trees" in the background in particular. Technically 3-4 (Fort Francis) is my favorite level for its humor and references, but the Underwhere is the best location.

4. Flopside just fits my vibes better... It's a more melancholy and laid-back place, and it feels like Flopside residents are usually the less successful ones, or the ones that have had a somewhat harder life, between them and their Flipside counterparts. I always feel like I am a less "successful" version of the person I could have been if I'd made different choices or magically didn't have to deal with my Brain Problems or the heart condition I was born with which robs me of a lot of energy. Nevertheless, I am pretty happy with my own life these days, even if the Flipside version of me (Yentruoc) went on to be a famous author and children's book illustrator like I once dreamed about. (I do like Flipside too though so of course I'd visit!)

5. I would visit Castle Bleck if that was an option; I want to see what it would feel like to exist in such an oppressively dark and colorless place, but I do think it's aesthetically fascinating and beautiful in its own way as well. Since I love the Bleck crew, their existence in the castle has captured my imagination for almost 16 years now! So I would love to see what it's actually like where they dwelt, and how accurate my imaginings were. I've doubtless thought about it more than any other place in the game so it would be mind-blowing to actually go there. But if that's not an option.... Well, I love Sammer's Kingdom like I said before, and it seems fun lol

6. I like to think I'd get along with Nastasia and we could commiserate on secretary type stuff.... Honestly I feel like Squirps captures the chaotic energy of myself and a lot of my friends but he's also a kid so it would be weird if he was my actual bestie lol. But I would happily babysit him any time. If he kept a similar personality into adulthood, we would totally hang out and yell excitedly about things and eat chocolate and give things weird names. Ok what I'm figuring out is that I may just have the personality of a kid LOL

01.  What would be their twitter name? What sorts of tweets would they tweet?

        He only signed up for twitter because his friend advised him that it was a good idea for a hero to have a twitter. Something about being ‘connected with the people’. But it ended up being a casual account in the end, especially after Kaminari really came into his life and found out about it. He’ll post memes, little updates about himself, especially his hero career. There are tons of pictures of himself with friends, and of his pet leopard gecko, Kacchan. Strategically makes sure to never address his gecko by name whenever Bakugou is online, which he has made sure to find out the typical activity of his friend to be certain. He’ll also post pictures he’s taken of sunsets and the like.

       He also has a private account he usually uses to post things he’d really rather his UA friends not see. Thus far, only his old friend group are the ones who know of it. The content of that one is usually selfies, memes, extreme shitposting, sometimes angry tweets. Sometimes flirty tweets at said friends, especially Tomo, that would more often than not end up being moved to messages. Then to texts and eventually calls. Sometimes even video calls because he likes hearing reactions and misses having actual conversations with them. He uses this account far more than he uses the former.

        The display name and icon was the result of a lost bet with Tomo. He would have used something like ‘For Your Entertainment 🖤💋’ but the more rational of his old friends told him it was too much so he settled for Neon Trees ( though he plans to change it to that at some point, probably when he turns 18 ). Honorable vetoed mentions included a whole slew of Simon Curtis lyrics or something out of Love Me Dead.

02.  What’s their favourite genre of movies? Of music?

        He likes action movies, zombie flicks. And Latin romcoms. Will consider Disney movies a whole genre and loves them all, is quite the fan of animated movies in general. He a closet big fan of real gory flicks, despite not usually liking horror movies that much. If it’s an R-rated movie, he’s in it for the violence, not the smut usually. 

        He likes Latin music, he likes alternative rock. Was is a particularly big MCR, Panic!, and Fall Out Boy fan. Is a HUGE Britney Spears fanboy. And on the flipside, Gloria Trevi, Shakira, Ricky Martin, and particularly Maná. He likes kawaii metal an awful lot too. If the above question and listed artists didn’t give hints, he tends to like music with risqué lyrics and a nice, danceable beat or heavy emotional music with a good guitar part. Rap is an occasional one depending on how much he likes it. A lot of his music is filled with musical tracks too, thanks to getting pulled into loving them by a friend who is much more of a musical/theater nut than he is.

03.  What’s on their top queue on Netflix?

         He’s too poor for netflix, he’s still paying off the fridge Pretty much anything that fits the above categories. Also chose your own adventure type series. Even if they piss him off sometimes coughcoughBlack Mirrorcoughcough. 

04.  What’s their favorite scent? Do they smell like that?

          Lavender and burnt sugar, in particular. He likes the smells of cinnamon, baked bread, cherry blossoms, and a freshly cut lawn. He likes the smell of a homecooked meal, fresh clean linen, and especially citrus scents.

        He typically smells of more earthy scents, and aftershave/Old Spice. Occasionally there’s a hint of a metallic scent, cigarette smoke, and or sweat mixed into it.

05.  Apple or Android?

        Started out with a flip phone given to him at age 13 then was given an iphone for his birthday by his childhood best friend’s family. He has no intention of changing to another, he’s rather attached to it. He’s cracked the screen once and took to being far more careful. Is saving to repair it, but he typically ends up spending the money on other things, like friends, med supplies, food, and own costs ( aka, saving up for an apartment once he graduates ). It’s a work in progress.

06.  Favorite Season? Least favorite season?

        His favorite season is autumn. The temperature is generally perfect, it was then that he had his childhood friend often went exploring new places, and HALLOWEEN! He’s not one to really celebrate his birthday, so it’s usually in the back of his mind. He likes seeing the leaves change and jumping in them when he pushes them into piles. He also prefers going to the beach around this time. The water is still okay, and there’s a lot less people. He’s able to get much nicer pictures then, too.

        His least favorite season, which he will always lie and say is his favorite around others, is summer. The heat gets unbearable, then sun is out all the time, and while he doesn’t mind a tan, he hates it especially when he gets sunburnt. Going to the beach is inconvenient because of all the people. The festivals help make the season worth it though, especially considering fireworks are quite prominent. 

07. Are they a bottom or top or versatile?

         It very much depends on who he’s with, he’s very much vers. He’ll lean more towards preferring to bottom for girls, does not particularly care for if he tops or bottoms for a guy. However there’s always an exception, especially if said guy has a Quirk that could hurt him. Then he might lean more to wanting to be topped. But it usually boils down to his partner’s preference. He’s more than willing to comply, especially if they’re the type to give orders. However, he’ll always prefer and would much rather have a partner who doesn’t mind switching who gives and receives every now and then.

08.  Describe their morning routine. Do they wake up early or sleep in? Do they press the snooze button a bunch of times or do they immediately get up?

         He wakes up very early, before everyone else in the class, save Aizawa if at all. No alarms because he gets very angry if woken up suddenly. The boy needs his coffee and he does not want people seeing the absolute zombie he is without it. Especially considering said zombie is extremely volatile and temperamental if he encounters much loud all at once. Which he learned particularly when he first moved into the dorms and almost put a hole in the wall when he came down for breakfast because of all the chatter. One’s he’s got his coffee ( straight black, he can’t stand it any other way ), he goes back to his room to change and work out a bit. Or goes straight out for a morning jog. It switches every day. Then he’ll take a shower and get ready for class. If he has time, he’ll even finish any homework he still needs to take care of instead of doing it in class.

09.  If they were to be compared to a canon character, who would that be? (Spirit animal)

I...honestly don’t know? In terms of animals he’s similar to, he’s been told he’s a dog and a shark repeatedly. And he’ll even play up the former for the hell of it. He’s a lot more like a cat than people, including himself, give him credit for.

I've had this on my mind for ages now, so I'm just going to say it. The Spirit Hunter series releases follows the Shrek formula. Is this anything? Idk I'm tired.

Death Mark = Shrek

The first of the series and a brand new IP, it takes already existing tropes and blends them into something new, while also adding a bit of raunchiness to stand out from what came out at the time in the genre. Introduces characters that we'll come to know and love.

NG = Shrek 2

Normally considered the best of its franchise, and has updated (upgraded?) a lot from the first one. We are introduced to new characters and their relationship dynamics within the same universe. Both involve a quest with a ragtag group that has them saving someone who's been caught up in the antagonists scheme in some way. The main character is out of their element and annoyed most of the time.

Death Mark 2 = Shrek 3

Considered a drop off and even a disappointment from what came before. Some say the pacing is too fast, and some characters are ooc. We're introduced to characters we're probably not going to see or care about again. The more important story characters got some more background and lore moments, but it doesn't make up for the media as a whole. Has to do with a school of some kind.

So if the series were to continue this formula with Death Mark 3 (or NG 2, whatever comes out first) We could possibly predict how the next installment will be. From what I can think of with Shrek 4:

It was considered an extreme step up from the movie before it, but a pretty okay movie in general. Some things it's praised for is the writing, good emotional beats, and mature themes.

Introduces a villain character that is liked for just how good they are at being evil. Said character makes a deal with the main character that kicks off the events and suffering of the main character.

Something to do with being sent to an alternate reality where things are similar, but different in some way.

Main character feels annoyed at having so many new people in their life, but come to appreciate them more by the end of the film.
