I still can’t get over how they work fhfjfjjffk
Like, I understand the purpose here was most likely to make Hiromasa acquainted with Douman and notice how she and Seimei perceive the “entertainment” differently but the way it happened is so funny. Seimei brings him along “just because” and has her call him out on it. She expects to have a typical games night with her rival (or whatever they call each other) but suddenly there’s a whole ass new man in the building with them. So she has to summon one of her shikis to keep him occupied. Terribly entertaining AND she gets to rise eyebrows and question Seimei about it. AND the funniest part is that Seimei doesn’t even have an answer for her??? Both of them are so down bad for different reasons it’s taking me out. A+ show purely for how their dynamic works

it's great that abe no seimei stormed into a temple and stole his boyfriend's corpse like "back off sluts he's mine" and everyone's reaction was just sort of like "yeah... always knew he would do something like this one day"

For Contents Moving Forward...
The very first post in my tumblr and it ends as my final notice for 时空中的绘旅人 / For All Time / HLR / Lovebrush Chronicles / LBC.
The irony.
But anyway figured I should do here cuz it's going to be quite the long essay from me.
We're now halfway through March, White Day's almost here and so is my 3rd Anniversary Emerald's Wedding Ring Merch.
THAT'S RIGHT
Tumblr media
I'm gonna get married with Emerald / Cael and retire for good to enjoy my marri-
...
To hell with that, I really can't bring myself to finish that bs.
But anyway the intention is still there - I am planning to retire from HLR / LBC but before that, I will clear off some of my stuff and I will drop the game as a whole: 1. Retrospring QnAs for the guide account I'm part of: @stshelterpedia 2. Chronological Summary to the game's story (had been requested to do this cuz the event release is now extremely messed up) 3. Claiming all my remaining monthly pack resources
For my followers from Twitter, new and old, I have gone missing from releasing the translation of game news for a long time, and now I feel the need and for the first time, share my thoughts in a very elaborative manner instead.
Sorry for ghosting on you guys for so long and from the bottom of my heart, thank you for all the follows all this while, even with me neglecting the translations here and there.
Although I believe many take me as a source of news translation and no more than that, there are still some who I've build relationship with as well throughout the years.
Now onto my retirement from this game and the translation thereof:
Do take note there's going to be some spoilers too -
Work may have been one of the reasons behind it as I've been way too occupied this year comparatively, but the very main factor would be the fact that I've lost my love and passion for this game.
In all honesty, I've stopped reading the Card Stories since Paradise / Eden and Event Stories since Onmyoji Collab. And for my long-time followers, I'm not sure if it's that obvious, but I have stopped fangirling or make any remarks on the game content for years - which I guess is quite the obvious sign from then on.
I loved HLR / LBC for its plot. I loved how plot is the driving force and priority of the game since the beginning. I loved how everything revolves around the plot, including the charaters to Event Stories and Card Stories.
But alas, all of that are past tense for me.
I may have been biased cuz I stopped reading all the side contents, so it's just the impressions I'm getting from the discussions I have with my friend. But for me after Destiny Corridor (DC) iirc? Fan service becomes the driver in this bus.
DC has its own share of service, but I feel the wrmth from deep down. All the nostalgia and warmth, and that's the peak storytelling before its downwards slope for me.
Tumblr media
Personally I don't mind fan services, but for me it feels like Event Story has become more and more irrelevant to Main Story, unlike in the past. Card Story is there to build some background story, but since it's more fan servicey now, it's just a stalemate story with barely any development.
At least that's what I feel and my impressions here and there.
Some may wanna ask: "But isn't Empire series the most Main Story relevant Event Story?"
Yeah, it should be, cuz it's almost the deadline (iirc supposedly by 4th year) that Empire Chapter will begin for Main Story and the final route of it marks the end of Season 1.
But the latest one I've read - Tidal-Disruption, Admiral Star / Prefect Luminance side specifically, actually disappointed me a whole lot.
Chosen is written brilliantly to make us fear Maker more, but in juxtaposition Star / Luminance had a great start but a meh ending.
Tumblr media
I find that the appeal behind Star / Luminance is that he is interested in MC for how strong she is emotionally and wants to break her, believing she will also be his greatest and most perfect creation cuz his other 'collections' can't withstand his 'molding'. All the revelations is nice and all, then suddenly he becomes so infatuated with MC he accepts his name as Alkaid (THAT DUDE HAS BEEN DENYING AND REJECTING OF SO STRONGLY SINCE HIS APPEARANCE) and play family with MC, imprisoning her and the story went like husband going back home to a lovely wife waiting for him treting his wounds.
I just
??????
DUDE WHERE DID YOUR COLDNESS, INDIFFERENCE WENT?
WHY DID YOU BECOME SO LOVE LORNED?????
I believed he had been better than that but he made my inner Asian Parent Disappointment surge up and I can only shake my head at the end when he decided to just let MC go.
Others let go cuz they are interested to see how far she can go, cuz she's not a threat at all, cuz she's a great piece for their plans, or cuz of their own twisted obssession; but for him it feels like a bad attempt in making him more romanceable.
End of ranting for now else it's gonna be for eternity.
Stories aside, what prompted me to ultimately announce my retirement as a whole is the moment I realise I hadn't logged into the game for 2 days (my birb brain had thought it's only 1 day).
That's right, 2 days and I didn't feel any urgency or frustrations for missing out on the resources. This is as of today, 10 March 2024:
Tumblr media
While on the other hand I feel like choking myself for missing my morning grind for another game.
With such comparison, I figure it's high time I check this off with a notice for everyone.
It has been a long journey and I enjoyed the companion of this game that also bring many new encounters for me.
But it is also time for me to bid the game adieu.
Feel free to unfollow me on my Twt if you're not interested in seeing me anymore.
Moving forward, I might begin some other translation project for games I took interest in (time to see if 世界之外 Beyond The World's grip be that strong on me) and I will also share a more elaborative train of thoughts here too.
Thanks for reading all the way here, my DMs in Twt are open for chats, and feel free to interact with me. I will be more than happy to share my thoughts with you too :)

Onmyoji fanfic (Pt 1)
Purest soul
**Disclaimer: Gey and Onmyoji spoilers**
(So on Ep7, we saw Hiromasa went 'back home' right? Turns out, Seimei lets him stay in his house as the reason 'To bring you to see dragon tmr'.
But is it only that reason...?)
Seimei wanted to say something as he saw Hiromasa drifting away from his house with unsteady foot in every steps. Though that his mind tried to kept him away from the pharses. But with enough resisting, his mouth slowly cracked open,
"Would you, perhaps, stay over at my house tonight?" Seimei rises an eyebrow revealing a face similar to a curious fox.
Hiromasa turned his back, and stumbled back to the original place where he left.
"Sure Seimei why no-" Before he could finish, he dropped to the floor with his whole body resting on the pathway.
"Such inconvinent..." Seimei mumbled as he carefully picked up Hiromasa and hang his hand onto his shoulder, slowly making their way into the house.
After entering the room, he laid Hiromasa onto a bed next to his and took off his hat. That is as far as he will go, he would just simply slept beside the bed next to him and wake him up tomorrow morning.
However, something stopped him.
As he put down Hiromasa's hat beside him, he glance over his friend. Seimei did not really looked so closely at his face before, no one would dared to even come close to him. The warm yellow light gave a shade of warmth towards his face, he had a kind-hearted soul, innocent and pure face even when he sleep.
These thoughts raced through Seimei's mind as he studied carefully the emotions given by his so called friend. His heart beating faster than ever. What is this feeling? Why am I feeling this? His hands slowly went nearer to his elegant face. The white skin of his reflects perfectly with the moonlight, and if someone was there to see, it would be invisible to see Seimei was touching him.
All of the sudden, he gained back his conscious. He swiftly took his hand away from Hiromasa's face. His friend, still sounded asleep, snored as loud as ever. What am I doing just now? Seimei thought. He got up and went to refresh himself by taking a walk outside.
Everything about Hiromasa was so pure, his mindset, his personality, his heart and his emotion. Except for the feeling Seimei had for him...

The Great CLAMP Re-Read Part 3: Tokyo Babylon
Part 1 (RG Veda) | Part 2 (Man of Many Faces)
And now we reach the CLAMP 90s series, and we are firmly back in serious territory. Tokyo Babylon ran from 1990 to 1993, which means it was concurrent with RG Veda, the CLAMP school series, Shirahime, Chun-hyang, AND X, which is just so much work to think about - and to wonder how X and Tokyo Babylon shaped each other (but more on that when I get to X). Tokyo Babylon (and X) is also set in the same universe as the CLAMP School with Subaru sharing a class with the Duklyon cast, which is very strange to consider given the tonal whiplash and thematic inconsistency, but it does reflect CLAMP’s early interest in crossovers. It consists of 18 chapters in 7 volumes, with each chapter being about 60 pages long.
While I'd never read it before this, it's famous enough (two OVAs, a drama CD, and a live action movie), that I went into this knowing some of the big spoilers, but not the details. So while my reading was coloured by the knowledge of its tragic end, it still felt revelatory to me. I'm very pleased that I found copies of the two omnibuses. The back of my Darkhorse Omnibus versions describe this as "CLAMP's first great work", which I don't entirely agree with - I'll die on the hill that RG Veda is GOOD - but it is the first CLAMP work where I think they were very consciously thinking of how to write a story that ties together on a thematic level, in every stage, and it's phenomenal. Heavy spoilers.
Synopsis: Onmyoji and thirteenth head of the Sumeragi clan, Subaru Sumeragi is called upon to solve occult mysteries in post-bubble Tokyo. It's a time of glittering lights, a rotten economy, and city populated by lonely people desperate for an answer to their problems as the millennium draws near. Joined by his fashionable twin sister Hokuto and the kindly but strangely sinister vetenarian Seishiro Sakurazuka who is in love with him, the overly sacrificing and empathetic Subaru must solve these problems and learn how to live - but Tokyo is not a kind place, especially to those with gentle natures.
The Story: On its surface, Tokyo Babylon begins as a "case-of-the-week" style story, where Subaru has to solve an occult case and learns something. Its a deceptively simple premise that allowed for CLAMP to explore pressing social issues of their time (which still feel resonant due to the sensitive way they explored them), while also building upon Subaru's character development through this, and the suspense of Seishiro's true nature. The comedy is well-timed and CLAMP know when to pull back from it to allow the emotional aspect to come through. Every case is incredibly gripping and I even cried reading "Old". I have seen some suggest it would have been more effective to have a massive twist rather than seed Seishiro's psychopathy throughout, but I actually think this works on a thematic level, and finding out Seishiro is a murderer, the bet, and Hokuto's death, still hit like a gut punch. It's a brilliant usage of seeding information without the full context until the end. I have no complaints here. It's a poignant story of Tokyo in the early 1990s and its destructiveness, while never losing its humanity.
The Themes: Do you know why the cherry blossoms are red. Tokyo Babylon is a story about well, Tokyo. It's about how modern city living that pursues only personal gain and conformity leads to human loneliness, and loneliness is a trap that destroys us all. We can never know someone else's pain, which leads to loneliness - but to recognize that is also freeing because it means we cannot judge and be judged for it. Having empathy is good, but too much and for the wrong people and not for yourself, can only lead to death. Its a fascinating interplay between community and individuality, the reality of modern life of trying to be someone while also needing to generalize, without ever really settling on either side, but where it does come down hard is that humans are not the villains but Tokyo is, in what it represents - greed, selfishness, cruelty, and apathy. It is intensely tragic and yet, strangely, incredibly life-affirming. Despite everything Subaru suffers, people are not born and made evil and everyone should be taken for who they are, not a faceless mass.
The Characters: Like the plot, everything in the characters is tied into the story of Tokyo. Seishiro is Tokyo: the slick, cool-cut well to do man in a suit with no empathy and a taste for violence. Nobody is special in Seishiro's eyes, nobody deserves to be treated as anything but an object. And then we have Subaru, poor sweet Subaru who is so empathetic and yet so detached from the world and himself because he's so focused on only his job, on not being an individual. He is what Tokyo wants him to be, filled with self-loathing and frankly suicidal impulses that he shouldn’t be alive. It's so tragic to watch Subaru finally grow into a person, but to do so to the one person who will hurt him. Subaru wants to to love Tokyo so badly, that it kills his sister, the one person he SHOULD have been pouring his love into, the person who could love him back and expect nothing in return. And Hokuto is just a showstopper, funny, kind, witty and cool. She's Subaru's northstar, the empathy and humanity where he cannot, almost co-dependent. I love characters that reflect one another and the themes.
The Art: The visual storytelling and panelling are fantastic. While less imaginative and fanciful than RG Veda, there's still some incredibly done spreads and pages, particularly anything to do with the bet. Subaru surrounded by cherry blossoms? Haunting. The fashion is impeccable, I love the bold design choices in the covers and spreads. The character designs in and of themselves are quite simple (and I don't love the seme-uke look of Seishiro and Subaru), but the personality-costuming is so well done and tell stories themselves. And the use of Hokuto and Subaru being identical to conceal the twist? Masterful character design. My only complaint is some of the scanned photo backgrounds are jarring against the lovely drawn art.
Questionable Elements: Subaru is 16 and Seishiro is 25. That being said, I do think from their interviews and the actual text, we aren't meant to ship them, and it's not unrealistic to be a teen and fall for an older person only for it to majorly fuck you up because they abuse their greater knowledge to harm you (which hey, might be a theme!). Some of the way issues are handled is dated, but not too badly. Again, I’m not going to comment on whether this is queer representation or not, since I don’t think that has ever been CLAMP’s intention. All the same, despite the stereotypical seme and uke stuff, the relationship feels real and tangible (which is why the payoff works).
Overall: A beautiful tragedy and an ode to human alienation and empathy. I went into this expecting to like it, and ended it never the same. It is genuinely a fantastic, fully complete thematic work from them that speaks as a reflection of the time it was written, and yet remains resonant. I know some people find it edgy, but I actually don't think edge is its intention, it's dark and it's tragic but never misanthropic. Yes, Subaru enters the adult world broken, but his refusal to become like Seishiro and to continue to count himself amongst humanity despite everything, reaffirms that life and people have value. You can see so much of their ideas crystallize here that they’ll repeat across X, Xxxholic, etc. We're all just lonely people and we hurt each other in it, and it's important to recognize that in ourselves and take of ourselves for it. Read it!

need a canon divergent post-canon fic where seimei lied about the terms and conditions of his deal with lord taizan... or maybe didn't lie but got caught and punished in some way? some way he manages to hide from hiromasa for a while
like what if lord taizan realizes he's been bamboozled and is like "oh pull the wool over my eyes will you? see how you like losing your sight" and seimei is just gradually losing his vision but not saying shit about it to hiromasa until hiromasa inevitably finds out
(idk if lord taizan has the power or nature to do something like that lmao but let's pretend)
basically like. the idea that the consequences of bringing hiromasa back to life are more severe than seimei makes them out to be... seimei hiding that fact...... hiromasa finding out......... obsessed with this

Summary of Susanoo and Susabi Event
This is the only post where I will issue a warning, next (see the change in the blog rules!) I won't do it
Spoilers of the Millennial Guardian event!
Tumblr media
In the world in which Seimei lives and in which we are considered an onmyoji player, Izanagi is officially dead and if he tries to come to this world, the world will expel him, because he violates ITS rules, because Izanagi is dead
Izanagi is not named as the father of the three divine children
Izanagi wanted Susanoo to call him "Father"
Izanagi was looking for a god partner in parallel worlds so that he/she could replace him. He wanted to live his life in a way that was different from everything he had done before. Thus, Izanagi wanted to tell Susanoo that he would like him to become his successor, but he does not want to force him to make this decision forcibly and therefore accepts Susanoo's decision
At the moment, Izanagi is in Yomi no kuni, he is holding back the Aether so that it does not destroy the rest of the worlds, so he cannot leave from there
Izanagi can observe events in all worlds because the sun and moon are his eyes according to him
Susanoo has a necklace made of storm jade that Izanagi gave him, so he plans to visit his adoptive father from time to time. Susanoo hopes to surprise him with this
The real Tsukuyomi is Susabi. He refused to take the name Tsukuyomi because he still respects his mentor and feels more comfortable with that name
Tsukuyomi we saw before this event is one of the evil gods. He is the god of lies. He wonders why Orochi didn't worry too much about the fact that he didn't find all the evil gods
Fake Tsukuyomi doesn't care about his gender. They can be either a man or a woman (However, for headcannons, I will use an exclusively male version with a mention of the possibility of a sex change)
At the end of the event, Susanoo sealed the god of lies, one of the avatars of Amaterasu, fake Tsukuyomi in his sword Ame no Habakiri
Susanoo officially handed over his Ame no Habakiri sword to Seimei. He said that despite the strict conditions of possession of the sword, the main thing is still the heart and will of its owner. The sword accepted Seimei as its owner. Also, with the help of a sword, he will be able to summon the god of thunder and lightning
After everything is over and the evil gods are sealed or destroyed, Susanoo will return to the Sea Plains
Susanoo also said that he will fight with Orochi in the present time in this world because the evil god owes him a duel
Susabi sent an emissary to find clues on how to wake up the sun goddess. In the near future we will see the return of the goddess Amaterasu
Susabi will lead the gods of prophecy
After his birth, Susanoo destroyed the hall in Takamagahara, which belonged to Amaterasu, because of which he was immediately shunned and thought that one day he would betray the gods. It was also said that he insulted the sun goddess by doing so. No one but Izanagi accepted him
Young Susanoo was limited in strength by the shackles of Izanagi
He did not like the sacred and too serious land of the gods and therefore often escaped to the mortal world, where there were emotions such as sadness and joy
He was reckless until he got caught up in a massacre between demons and humans. All his friends were killed, he himself was forced to watch it, monsters drank his blood, broke his bones, tortured him. I was especially shocked by the fact that he was forced to eat the meat of murdered people. All this brought the young god into such a clouded state of mind that he completely stopped feeling any pain. The monsters didn't have the power to kill the god, so they tried to trick him into destroying his godhood, but Susanoo was saved by Izanagi
He vowed to one day become as strong as Izanagi so that he could become someone who could protect the others, even if it meant his own death
Susanoo grew up on the Sea Plains almost alone, as Izanagi was a Warrior God and was often absent from home. Therefore, Izanagi often brought cubs of various mythical monsters so that Susanoo would not feel lonely
It seems that when Izanagi saved Susanoo, he sacrificed his immortality so that Susanoo could live (OTHERWISE I DON'T UNDERSTAND AT WHAT POINT THIS DUDE LOST HIS IMMORTALITY). Therefore, in the last battle with the evil gods, Izanagi was killed. Susanoo's psyche couldn't handle it and blocked the real memories of it. He convinced himself that his adoptive father was alive, told his mythical monster friends about it
He remembered this cruel truth when he traveled to other worlds and almost got lost, but was saved again by his adoptive father Izanagi
If you find any mistakes or don't understand something, please write about it

Ibuki Main Story Chapter 11 to 17 Summary
1 to 10
WARNING: Smut content.
***Spoilers****
Ibuki gives Yoshino aphrodisiac because.......he had a bottle simply lying on his shelf and didn't want to waste it I guess. After realizing that it was an aphrodisiac, Yoshino tries to leave but Ibuki ofc wants to play adult games with her, so he doesn't let go. Yoshino at this point was already moaning at the lightest touch. Ibuki lights a candle and tells her that if she could resist until the candle melts then she wins and also promises that he wouldn't do anything she dislikes. Yoshino had no other choice so she nods.
He starts touching her through her clothes, feeling the curves of her body, and Yoshino who although resisting, couldn't hold back her moans. He playfully bites and kisses her ear, while pinching both of her nipples at the same time. By the time his hand could reach between her legs, the candle melts and she wins. Ibuki pouts and Yoshino was in a daze. Although she did win, Yoshino looked like she wanted to go all the way. Since she won and all, he decides to give a reward....and that is DRUM ROLLS PLEASEEEEEEEEEEE....He fingers her till she climax.
After that, Ibuki being the *ahem* self-proclaimed 'gentleman' he is, volunteers to send her back to her room. Yoshino rejected the idea but Ibuki warns her saying that the face she is making right now can turn any man into an animal. Yoshino blushes even more ofc and Ibuki (purposefully) gently pushed her back. Then Yoshino begged to not touch her out of nowhere because she was still under the effects of the aphrodisiac, to which Ibuki laughs.
After that Ibuki goes to the garden and runs into Yasuchika. Ibuki states that tonight he won't be looking for a random woman to play with because he has already satisfied his hunger.
The next day, Yoshino recovers and runs into Akihito. Akihito took a guess at what happened between her and Ibuki by looking at Yoshino's face. Yoshino was surprised to find that Akihito knew so much about Ibuki and asked about their relationship. Akihito doesn't give an exact answer but asks her instead. Yoshino tells that they both look like friends and Akihito looked conflicted. He soon changes the subject and tells Yoshino about Ibuki's weakness-----his horns. He tells her that when someone touches Ibuki's horns, he gives a very priceless reaction and told her to try it out the next time when Ibuki bullies her.
Later that day, Yasuchika and Yoshino go on ghost hunting and Akihito also joins them. They go to a forest where they got reports about a very strong ghost/demon/whatever is lurking. The demon/ghost attacks them and it was surprisingly stronger than they had expected. Even Yasuchika's onmyoji magic looked powerless against it. The entity took the form of Yasuchika and stabs him with his own sword. Yasuchika faints from blood loss and the entity stands and laughs. Not to forget, the entity also doesn't knows its real identity. Yoshino tried using her fox powers but it was of no use. Then Akihito steps in and uses his Kotodama. Yoshino was surprised to see Akihito's hair colour change. Akihito orders Yoshino to run away and uses Kotodama on her so that at least she survives because the entity was too strong for even Akihito.
Yoshino runs far away as much as she can and then gets an idea. She immediately rushes to Ibuki's playground. Ibuki was busy with some guests and right when he saw Yoshino barging into his house, crying, he immediately realised something was wrong and sent all guests out.
Yoshino tells Ibuki everything what happened, but also mentally prepared to be laughed at, because knowing Ibuki he might not go out to help. But to her surprise, Ibuki says that he will go and tells her not to cry. He also says that she must not waste her tears and must only use them when he abuses her. Yoshino understood the meaning behind those words and nodded.
Yoshino brings Ibuki to the location and there they saw the entity crushing Akihito. Akihito was already on his knees, tired from using his curse. Seeing the sight made Ibuki furious and he immediately saves Akihito. Akihito rushes to check Yasuchika, but he was showing no signs of waking up. Ibuki faces the entity, who is still in Yasuchika's form, saying that he will play with him instead. When the entity heard the word 'play' it immediately started going crazy. Ibuki asked why the entity took Yasuchika's form and the entity, in his broken Japanese, says that he resembles Yasuchika. Soon the entity remember who he was. It was none other than the Most POWERFUL Onmyoji, Abe no Seimei. Everyone was surprised to hear that name.
Seimei gives out a hysterical laugh and challenges Ibuki to play with him (Man..that scene is so creepy, especially in Yasuchika's form his smile looked very haunting and creepy. I wished I'd kept that screenshot to show you guys). He summons hundreds of raven birds to feed on Yasuchika's body. Ibuki immediately shielded all of them by creating a sand wall. They all decided to withdraw for now because getting Yasuchika to safety is the biggest priority.
After they brought Yasuchika to his room, Yoshino was glad that Seimei didn't follow them all the way. Ibuki tells her that, although he's strong because he's a ghost he has no brains. Yoshino finished treating Yasuchika's injury but to their bad luck, Yasuchika also had a high fever. Yoshino was heartbroken to see the way Akihito looked at Yasuchika. Akihito asked Yoshino if he would survive and Yoshino tells him that although she did treat his injury, surviving the high fever is on him. Akihito trembled and held his bracelet tightly. Yoshino recognizes the bracelet because she saw the same one on Ibuki's wrist.
Ibuki who was watching, started comforting Akihito by telling that he must not give up that easily. He also advice Akihito to leave for the time being because Akihito's curse might leak due to emotional state he is in right now. Akihito agrees and leaves.
Ibuki also asks Yoshino to leave but she decides to stay for Ibuki. Yoshino finally decides to ask about their relationship and Ibuki tells her everything about how they all met. After that Yoshino tells how she's surprised to find out that the relationship between them has changed so much from when they first met. Ibuki doesn't agree with her, saying that he doesn't care about Yasuchika and Akihito the way she thinks and that they are only his 'special' toys. Yoshino clears everything up by saying that she could definitely feel the love he has for both of them otherwise he wouldn't come to rescue them. Ibuki looked conflicted and went silent. He then says that he can't understand such feelings that don't have a name and if a 'feeling' doesn't have a name, then it's non-existent to him and he forgets it.
Yoshino replies by saying that even if he forgets, she won't. Ibuki touches her cheek and calls her beautiful because she surpassed his powers as a demon, Ibuki can only destroy things using his powers and cannot save anyone with them. Unlike her, who saves people. Yoshino blushes at the compliment but couldn't look away. Ibuki also tells her that he can't understand what he's feeling towards Yoshino and then share a gentle kiss and Ibuki asks her to forget about it too. Yoshino shakes her head indicating no and they kiss again.
After three days, Yasuchika finally wakes up and asks what happened to Akihito (first thing). Yoshino and Ibuki explain how Akihito was sent to his room and ofc hasn't slept for three days because he was sending maids back and forth to check whether Yasuchika woke up or not. They both take him to visit Akihito. When both Yasuchika and Akihito saw each other... it was as if time had stopped for just them. They both were glad to see each other once again but didn't know how to convey it in words or action and everything started getting awkward. Ofc Ibuki breaks the awkward atmosphere by saying to give each a hug or something. All four of them then laughed together.
A few days later, one night, a meeting was called to discuss about Seimei and how to deal with him. This is where my brain died. They discuss something about Seimei's soul being cut in half, and one part of the soul went to the demon world etc etc etc...yeah so much spiritual stuff. Just keep in mind that Seimei is the bad guy here and is now a demonic entity. Since the Imperial Court cannot deal with Seimei's power alone because he was too powerful for them, they decided to call upon the Shogunate and the Rebels for help.
A few days later, Yoritomo, Kagetoki, and Tamamo came from the Shogunate side and Yoshitsune, Benkei and Kurama came from the Rebels' side. In what looked like 5 hours meeting, 30 minutes were to discuss where Yoshino sits and the rest were wasted discussing Seimei.
Akihito first apologized for hiding his identity from the Shogunate and the Rebels and asked for help. They both obviously rejected it, but because Yoshino personally sent a letter to Yoritomo requesting for help, Yoritomo couldn't avoid it because he and the Shogunate owes Yoshino a lot. From the Rebels' side, Yoshitsune was hesitant to accept but after sensing the gravity of the situation and looking at Yasuchika's injury, he couldn't turn a blind eye. Thus he accepted to join as well.
After that, the meeting among the three leaders (Yoritomo, Yoshitsune, Akihito) went on and the rest of the problematic children(Ibuki, Kurama, Tamamo, Benkei, Kagetoki) and Yoshino were left alone in the garden. Since they are unattended children, ofc they start to fight. After fighting and making fun of each other they all started to get hungry. So Benkei pulled out his portable stove from his bag and started to make bbq chicken in the Royal Imperial GARDEN! (LOL...these scenes are something I really enjoy. Characters from the enemy side, keep their egos, hatred, status etc etc all aside to enjoy a party. This is the kind of bonding that I crave for, it reminds me of when I was in school)
Anyways, after dinner, Yoshino goes to the library for studying medicine and Ibuki runs into her, because Kagetoki asked him to get him something from the library. They both were happy to see each other and started to chat about various things like Ibuki and Kurama's relationship. After that Yoshino asks Ibuki about his real past because it's time.

RULES.
. i don’t take requests. i have realized that i cannot deliver them in time and it makes me feel anxious and more stressed, which then alters my writing and make it difficult for me to get the words on paper (or in this case on my phone).
. however, you are allowed to send any ramble or thought you may have, and depending on if i feel inspired or not i will give you a piece of my own mind. of course make sure it is a fandom i am in, if you are not sure just send a request to be sure.

. i do not write specified features for the reader (tattoos, piercings, scars, body type, etc.) to make sure everyone can read it without feeling excluded.
. i can also do moodboards sometimes.
. please do not spam likes without a reblog or even just a comment, it’s irritating and feels like you are liking for the sake of liking (however if i see enough space between the likes i’ll let it pass, as it shows you are actually reading).
