The Outlander 31 Day Challenge: Day 31
Day 31: Most quintessentially Outlander moment
When this scene from the season 6 finale first played out on my screen, I got chills. This journey for Claire and Jamie has been such a long one, in the show and the books. There are only so many details the show can include from the text, but this moment when the two of them are sitting in the living room of their now destroyed home, counting the lives Jamie has been granted and how many remain…just beautiful. For more reasons than one, this dialogue and moment is quintessentially Outlander. High stakes, dark and often quite sad, but in the middle of every tornado thrown at these two, their love for one another remains stronger than every obstacle.
This challenge was so much fun, thank you to @gotham-ruaidh for creating it and letting us all partake! Bring on season 7 :)

I was actually thinking of that Mustang of yours. Remember that time we drove up into the mountains in North Carolina? I do. You almost drove us off the road. Because someone thought it was a good idea to kiss me at 75 miles per hour. We almost broke up that weekend. We did break up that weekend. Yeah, but then I pursued you. Through time. [CHUCKLES] Usual story. Mm, watch where you're going there, Ace. I thought ye found speed erotic. Vroom, vroom. Uh-uh, we'll wake Jemmy. Mm-mm. Nary a Ford Mustang could wake him. Do you think we'll ever go 75 miles per hour again?
