Do you remember when Shakira at her concert in Paris suddenly choose to sing : Francis Cabrel - Je l'aime à Mourir, around 10 years ago and everyone had a mental breakdown and went nuts cause it was so surprising and cool.

What if Marina suddenly do the same ? She tell the band but not Pearl and sing the octarian equivalent, like a love song in octarian inspire by her good relationship with pearl.

I write a while back a timeline where Pearl die and Marina became a bad guys because of it, wanting to avenge Pearl death and preventing everything to happen.

But what if Marina die ? I like to believe that Pearl would be be Heartbroken and depressed. In opposition to Marina, Pearl probably never experience loss and loosing the one person she care the most...

My headcanon is that Inkling can die of grief (like dogs or Lovebrid do when they lost their loved one) and Pearl is on this path here, she is inconsolable.
