no you have such a good point because when i was making the set, i was like wait…is the first time we see him wear a shirt with a print, aside form his simple striped sweater, after tk moves in with him? and it is in fact. and i do like that they switched up his wardrobe in s3 a little.

Oh wow! The patterns aren’t something I noticed, but now that you mention it, it’s kind of eye opening.

Carlos is very structured in the sense that he’s set in his ways, he has a routine — he has a way he wants things to be, and that’s how it’s been. Enter TK, and we see them both disrupt each other (in a good way!) and their routines.

When we get to season three, after the ice storm arc, we see them really settled into their lives together, and Carlos’ wardrobe and appearance kind of changes, too. His hair isn’t as neat as it was in past seasons, especially during group hangs, we’re seeing him a little more disheveled at home, he’s relaxed (except for a certain lizard).

I just love that growth in comfortability, because TK was always kind of there, you know? And I’m saying this in the wardrobe sense specifically; hoodies, sweats/joggers. He can be put together, too, but he’s much more comfortable dressing down from the get-go.

I’m curious to see next season’s wardrobe (arms, please). That red sweater (or similar) is coming back, we’re getting a flannel (interesting). I’m excited to see that comfort continue to grow.

14. how long does it usually take you to make a set?

borrowing from a previous ask: when I'm hustling & have existing coloring ready to drag & drop? 20-30 minutes. when it's artistic or detailed, hours on end. I like near-instant gratification though (thanks, ADHD), so I can rarely stand to spend more than 4-5 days tops on a set.

24. 480p, 720p, 1080p: what's the minimum quality you’ll gif from?

1080p for 99% of what I make; 1% whatever resolution I can get my greedy hands on for random GIFs of my ultimate biases, like BKPP.

37. what sets if any do you have planned to make in the future?

I have a stupid-ambitious set with my favorite BL moments of '22 planned for the end of the year, using a format/theme I haven’t seen anywhere else. thanks for reminding me to get on that (it’s probably going to be one of those rare takes-weeks sets)!

45. ever gotten hate over a set?

not hate per say, but I’ve noticed a shift in the community since KinnPorsche (it brought in a lot of new people, most of them lovely) & with it, an increase in quasi-hate RBing- i.e. “omg this actor sucks", "this show is SO cringe- why am I watching this lol”, etc.

omg tk getting shot like I knew almost nothing abt this show before binging it last fall and that moment pulled thee gasp outta me. plus I loved tk/owen scenes we got and tk's journey through various self-discoveries afterward

46. Favorite 126 family moment?

my first thought was when everyone came together at the end of 2x14 to clean up the station. like it's so sweet and the comfort and family vibes are strong. forever adore the twins zooming past judd to reach carlos and the kinda teasing grins on everyone's faces after that. it was a good moment until billy showed up lmao

but that said, a related but underrated family moment comes at the end of 2x13 when owen is moping "surveying the damage" but music starts playing and he follows the sound to find the team gearing up for a hang, all currently unaware charles has died and tommy has had A Day™ and owen decides to let them keep finding joy for a little longer. idk there's just something very warm and tender and quietly hopeful in that scene. that one's my favorite

20. Moment that made you cry the most?

- the plane montage at the end of 3.08. as soon as that song starts up, i get full body chills and i'm out of commission for the rest of the day. (i understand my personality is 3.08 at this point, but that's where i'm gonna be.)

— paul's scurry as he tries to keep up with marj as she storms into the market where griffin works will never not be funny. and how smooth he is when he catches the mic at the end of the scene? these two are iconic and nothing will stop that.
