Test driving a new spin on my illustrated pieces. There’s been a need for reinvention stuck on my hand for a few days now, with the artwork anyway. I want to add some modernization while keeping the integrity of my figure-centric, sketchy style, so— clear layers with a sketchy signature. I’ve also been unable to get the latest PhaseOne X ERRA track out of my head, so I put it on paper to channel the vibes out productively. 🤘 I’ve liked the design work on PhaseOne’s last two collabs, so I grabbed a bit of textural inspiration from that. I’m also naturally just a sucker for anything monochrome + yellow. Kind of want to do more musician-focused designs now. Thoughts?

A PhaseOne XF típusú fényképezőgép múzeumi digitalizálásra specializált eszköz, mellyel a különösen érzékeny műtárgyakat 100 megapixelen, középfomátumban fotóztuk. Így az első Magyarországon nyomtatott könyvet, a Budai Krónikát is. A digitalizált állományt veszteségmentesen mentettük, TIFF formátumban.

1473. június 5-én, pünkösd előestéjén fejezte be Andreas Hess Budán az első Magyarországon készült könyv, a Chronica Hungarorum nyomtatását. A félezer + félszáz évfordulón 2023. május 27-én mutatjuk be a könyv facsimile kiadását latin és magyar nyelvű kísérőkötetével, amihez hangoskönyv és bor is járul.

A bemutatóig tartó időszakban heti rendszerességű sorozatot indítottunk az első magyar nyomtatott könyvről. Elsőként a Budai Krónika digitalizálását mutatja be Pohánka Xénia, a Digitalizáló Osztály munkatársa és Farkas Gábor Farkas könyvtörténész mutatja be.

Pontosan egy év múlva 2023. pünkösd vigíliáján lesz 550 éves az első Magyarországon nyomtatott könyv: a Budai krónika.

Érdekes egybeesés: 1473. pünkösdje szintén június 5-ére esett. A feltételezhetően k��tszáz-kétszázötven példányból mindössze tíz maradt fenn, ezekből kettőt őriznek Magyarországon, az Országos Széchényi Könyvtárban és az ELTE Egyetemi Könyvtárban.

A jövő évi születésnapra a nemzeti könyvtárnak szándékában áll megjelentetni egy különleges kiadványt, amely tartalmazni fogja nemcsak a hasonmását a magyarok krónikájának, hanem latin szövegét, annak javított magyar fordítását, valamint egy erre az alkalomra palackozott tokaji aszút, illetve egy, a krónika szövegéből készült hangoskönyvet.

Így válik egésszé a bor- és a könyvkultúra: az íz, az illat és a hang, a szellemi és a lelki táplálék egy különleges reprezentatív ajándék formájában. A galériában ízelítőt adunk a frissen végbement digitalizálás lépéseiről.
