Best Label Manufacturers In India Redifining The Commercial Landscape
Tumblr media
Selecting the printing technique that best fits the demands of your consumers can be challenging, but maintaining brand visibility on the high street requires product labels and packaging. As we shall see in this piece, digital printing devices are revolutionising the business landscape by providing a quick and affordable fix to several packaging process problems. Getting your consumer goods into the market requires packaging labels, which makes the Best Label Manufacturers in India even more important. They must be precise and creative. Labels are an essential component of consumer items worldwide, providing important information about the goods within.
The label is what draws a customer's attention while making a purchase, and attracting a buyer's attention to aid in decision-making requires precision and originality. Thus, companies in all sectors concentrate on the effectiveness of product labels. Package labels are quite popular, especially in India, where they are used to package goods for nearly every kind of business, including homegrown companies.
What are the benefits of digital printing, then, for the business world?
FASTER TURNAROUND TIMES
Comparing digital printing to traditional printing technologies, one major benefit of digital printing is its capacity to produce work more quickly and with faster turnaround times. Digital printing's speed may be a useful tool for businesses looking to meet deadlines, win more business, and satisfy consumers' urgent needs when they need materials fast to meet market demands.
COST-EFFECTIVENESS
Even while digital printing sometimes requires more expensive inks and operating expenses, the technology's simplicity removes the need for pricey setup fees, plates, and minimum print numbers. Small enterprises and individuals with tight finances may find it more difficult to use traditional printing technologies since they sometimes demand a large upfront expenditure. For many firms, high-quality output generated quickly and affordably without sacrificing print quality is more cost-effective when it comes to digital printing.
CUSTOMISATION AND VARIABLE DATA PRINTING
Variable data printing, or VDP for short-run, customised, or targeted marketing campaigns, is made possible by digital printing. In order to build a more intimate and interesting relationship with their audience, businesses might customise printed materials by adding names, addresses, or even photographs of certain clients.
The efficacy of marketing initiatives may be greatly enhanced by adding a personal touch, such as customised product packaging or labelling with best label manufacturers in India. This fosters a favourable connection between the company and its clients, which will result in profitable sales and referrals from mouth.
DESIGN FLEXIBILITY
To achieve optimal cost-efficiency and lower prices, traditional printing technologies by best label manufacturers in India sometimes necessitate ordering enormous batches of printed products. While this might be helpful if you require tens of thousands of identical labels, it can also be a major limitation if you want to try out other layouts, styles, or pictures. Due to the extraordinary creative freedom offered by digital printing, companies are free to experiment and generate several iterations of their products without having to commit to large print runs. Costly reprints are not necessary since successful campaigns are simple to identify and replicate.
DUAL TECHNOLOGIES
These days, a lot of prosperous companies combine many manufacturing processes, like digital, offset, and flexo printing. Their ability to adapt enables them to determine and oversee manufacturing where it will be most cost-effective and beneficial for the customer. To optimise cost and quality for each task, manufacturing might, for example, occasionally be moved from one technology to another dependent on the volume and needs of the project.

Lou Reed performing at Copenhagen in September 1973, as captured by Jan Persson.
"For that 1973 world tour, Reed had put together a fantastic and very energic band they were all from Detroit and they all knew their business. The concept of the tour was to deliver «Berlin» to an eager public. As Reed had been musically brought up in the Warhol’s factory, he had become a master of manipulation and he knew how to bring the hysteria element within his crew. Very high on diverse drugs, Reed silently enjoyed it when all his staff, manager, musicians, roadies and friends, fussed around his person. Andy Warhol had found out the lights concept by himself: «What is needed» suggested the Pope of Pop» is to borrow the light effect conceived by Albert Speer» for what will later be known as the «Hitlerian ceremonies»: White light spots, (whiter than white) and with a tremendous intensity all focussed on Lou Reed on an immense black background. And that’s what they did. The Tour started on September 17 at the Paris Olympia, with eleven European dates to follow. On stage, Lou Reed was wearing black leather. His face was a livid mask and he had an Afro. In Amsterdam, the bootlegers stroke, and realeased a Pirate album called «RocknRoll Animal» That made him laugh and «now here is a title for me» will he declare. Every nights, his big black Mercedes will take him to different venues, and every nights, he’ll arrive at the last moment. And his Roadies had to practically carry him up on stage where he had to stagger to reach the mike. The tour was a colossal success thanks particularly to his guitarists who had found a way to «metallize» his repertoire. His band was driven by an tremendous rhythm section: the drummer Pentti Gian played ocasionally with Steppenwolf, and the bassist Prakash John, had just resigned from Funkadelic to be replaced by Bootsy Collins. The lead guitarist Dick Wagner, had debuted with Frost, a band used to the Grande Ballroom. And so that’s why Steve Hunter was the perfect counterpart: a veritable virtuose who loved to put danger in his technique. Hunter, had once belonged to Detroit (behind Mitch Ryder) and already in the old days he used to cover the Velvet Underground «RocknRoll» on a rather hard mode, and that’s been the option adopted from the beginning to the end of that mythic tour. Every night the two guitarists will have guitar duels in front of eager crowds. Lou Reed was taking all kind of drugs, and his roadies will confess: he took everything coming his way: coke, speed, weed, valium and Johnny Walker Black Label and the roadies had to hide bottles for him into the amps. Rock critics will put it that way: «It’s been like a black mass into a Gothic Cathedral with Heroin as a God». jltambo.wordpress.com

Release: January 13, 1997
Lyrics:
Just tell me what you've got to say to me
I've been waiting for so long to hear the truth
It comes as no surprise at all you see
So cut the crap and tell me that we're through
Now, I know your heart, I know your mind
You don't even know you're being unkind
So much for all your highbrow Marxist ways
Just use me up and then you walk away
Boy, you can't play me that way
Well, I guess what you say is true
I could never be the right kind of girl for you
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
When I saw my best friend yesterday
She said she never liked you from the start
Well me, I wish that I could claim the same
But you always knew you held my heart
And you're such a charming, handsome man
Now I think I finally understand
Is it in your genes? I don't know
But I'll soon find out, that's for sure
Why did you play me this way?
Well, I guess what you say is true
I could never be the right kind of girl for you
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
Oh, I could never be your woman
Well, I guess what they say is true
I could never spend my life with a man like you
Songwriter:
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
I could never be your woman
Oh, I could never be your woman
Irving Wallman / Bing Crosby / Prakash Mishra / Max Wartel
SongFacts:
"Your Woman" is a song by British music producer White Town. It was released in January 1997 as the lead single from the album Women in Technology. It features a muted trumpet line taken from a 1932 recording of "My Woman" by Lew Stone and his Monseigneur Band. The song peaked at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart. Outside the United Kingdom, the single reached No. 1 in Iceland, Israel and Spain, peaked within the top 10 on the charts of at least 12 countries, and reached No. 23 in the United States.
In the booklet of their 1999 album 69 Love Songs, The Magnetic Fields' frontman Stephin Merritt described "Your Woman" as one of his "favourite pop songs of the last few years." In 2010, the song was named the 158th best track of the 1990s by Pitchfork.
Jyoti Prakash Mishra, White Town's sole member and the writer of "Your Woman", had garnered some notoriety within the United Kingdom's underground music scene in the years leading up to the song's mainstream release. In 1997, the song was heard by Mark Radcliffe (a BBC Radio 1 presenter at the time) who played it, helping Mishra gain much recognition in a short time.
Mishra has stated that the lyrics could stem from or be related to multiple situations. He says "When I wrote it, I was trying to write a pop song that had more than one perspective. Although it's written in the first person, the character behind that viewpoint isn't necessarily what the casual listener would expect".
Mishra wrote that the themes of the song include: "Being a member of an orthodox Trotskyist/Marxist movement. Being a straight guy in love with a lesbian. Being a gay guy in love with a straight man. Being a straight girl in love with a lying, two-timing, fake-arse Marxist. The hypocrisy that results when love and lust get mixed up with highbrow ideals." Mishra admitted that being signed to a major label (EMI) did not allow him to express creative control, and the loss of his anonymity due to the song's popularity drove him "mad".
The '>Abort, Retry, Fail?_' message that appeared on some inlay cards was explained by the artist: "Well, this cheerful message became a kind of shibboleth for me and sort-of characterises what's been going on for me the last few years." The song was created using free MIDI sequencing software for the Atari ST and a cheap multitrack cassette tape recorder.
The accompanying music video for "Your Woman" was produced in black and white silent film style. Most of the outdoor scenes were filmed in Derby.
In the video, there are numerous elements of acting, cinematography and editing that suggest an old fashioned film style. The exaggerated gestures of Chloé Treend, the hat wearing woman, helpless and fearful, and those of her quick tempered lover hint at the acting style from 1920s expressionist films. The ostensive metaphors, such as the use of hypnosis on the woman by the man or the recurring shots of crossroad signs bearing names of romantic relationship related attitudes, remind of the 1920s and 1930s efforts to express subjectivism in film.
The use of circular masks, as to emphasise focal points or for a mere elegant look, also belongs to the aforementioned period. At the point where the woman first enters the man's bedroom and in the final rope scene, match cuts are used in a manner resemblant of that from silent experimental films. Mishra can be seen for brief moments on television screens in the background.
There is also a scene where the woman closes the door on the man's arm, as she tries to escape from his advances. This is a direct reference to scene from Salvador Dalí and Luis Buñuel's surrealist film Un chien andalou (1928).

Unmasking IIT Prashikshan Kendra’s Deceptive Practices: An Analysis of JEE Coaching Claims in Pune
In the highly competitive realm of JEE coaching institutes, making informed choices is pivotal for a student’s success. Our recent scrutiny of IIT Prashikshan Kendra (IITPK) reveals a consistent pattern of misleading claims over the years, raising doubts about the institute’s transparency and credibility in the context of IIT JEE, JEE Main, and JEE Advanced preparation.
Unveiling the Illusion of Success:
IITPK boldly asserts itself as having the highest success rate in Pune for JEE Main and JEE Advanced, yet a closer inspection of their website reveals a stark absence of essential details such as rankings and percentiles.
According to their website, we wanted to determine the IIT Prashikshan Kendra’s success rate. For 2022, we’re estimating that they have 800 students learning with them overall. Looking at the list on their website, they have a total of 26 students selected for the IITs, including all courses and all the IITs.
The True Success rate of IITPk = 20/800 * 100 % = 2.5%
Hence, when the true success rate of IITPk is just 2.5%, contradicting their claim of the ‘Best Success Rate.’
They have claimed that 1 in 3 IITians of Pune are from IIT Praskishan Kendra (IITPK). This claim is also fake, and they have provided no data to prove this. Their website has little or no details of the students that they claim to have selection in IITs.
We also analysed this in detail, and the total number of selections in IITs from IITPK in 2023 was only 23 out of which none got CSE on old IITs. Comparing this with the number of students appearing from IITPK in JEE Main and Advanced, which is around 800, this result is very poor and far below the average rate of selections from the premier institutes of Pune, M Prakash Academy, and Bakliwal Tutorials.
Exposing the Smoke and Mirrors: IIT Prashikshan Kendra’s Dubious 2023 Results Ad
Adding to the unfolding narrative, IITPK’s recent paper ad showcasing 2023 results raises eyebrows with a questionable portrayal of JEE toppers in Pune. Students labeled as JEE/MHT CET toppers might only hold that distinction within IITPK, potentially not even ranking within Pune’s top 10 in JEE Advanced or JEE Main.
Claims of unmatched college placements are called into question when compared to Bakliwal Tutorials or M Prakash Institute, where more than 200 students made it to IITs. As per their own placement list, only 23 students made it to IITs in 2023. IITPk’s assertion of having the best retention ratio raises concerns, especially considering the unverifiable nature of such a metric in the context of Pune coaching centers. Similarly, the claim of best success ratio is also true, assuming a 1000 students in IITPk, this year too, the ratio of students making to IITs is merely 2.3%.

“From The Rolling Stone – India Magazine Website – Premiere: Sarod Artist and Producer Alam Khan’s Wide-Eyed ‘Akash’ Music Video”
The Indo-U.S. artist teams up with filmmaker Avani Rai for the cinematic song off his new album ‘Mantram’
San Francisco sarod player and composer-producer Alam Khan
The year 2022 marks the centennial of the birth of Indian classical legend and sarod pioneer Ali Akbar Khan. A hundred years on, the legacy and boundaries of the sarod are still being pushed forward by his own. The late maestro’s son — Bay Area-bred sarod player, composer and producer Alam Khan — has launched a cinematic new album Mantram this week and it’s accompanied by an engrossing music video for the opening track “Akash,” directed by photographer and filmmaker Avani Rai.
Interestingly, Rai and Khan’s connection goes one generation back, when the former’s father — photographer Raghu Rai — worked with Ali Akbar Khan at different times over the years. Alam Khan says he and Rai connected online to collaborate, leading to not just the music video for “Akash” but also a series of NFT videos which are being released via a platform called mysterious.xyz. “After making this series of videos set to select tracks off of Mantram, we decided to do one more longer video for ‘Akash.’ […] The music and visuals of Mantram are a whole vibe to be experienced.” he adds.
Released via Canada-headquartered South Asian music label Snakes x Ladders, “Akash” sets a captivating pace for Mantram and visually, Rai dives right into the child-like wonderment in her protagonist’s eyes. Set in Mumbai, Khan says about the video, “From his mundane day of riding in auto rickshaws to taking a train ride, everything is fresh, beautiful, and filled with possibility as we are all one people under the sky through a child’s eyes.”
Mantram was originally conceived in 2019, when Khan began composing for a contemporary Kathak dance production with the Chitresh Das Institute in San Francisco. Collaborators on the eight-track album include Carnatic vocalist Aditya Prakash, sarangi veteran Ustad Sultan Khan, drummer Sidecar Tommy aka Tommy Cappel, bansuri player Jay Gandhi and tabla artist Nilan Chaudhuri, among others. Khan — who has previously released hip-hop-informed music as part of the duo Grand Tapestry — adds about the album, “While some of the pieces are more closely based off of ragas, it is a departure from ……
