A Starlight Introduction: Admin Prim!

Happy holidays! I'm Admin Prim (@primamchorus), organizer of the Starlight Initiative!

I've been looking more and more forward with each passing day to the start of the Weekend of Gift Giving! Especially as someone who spends a lot of time actively and passively farming stuff in-game, and, as a result, just seems to have a number of little goodies stashed away to hand out to those that would want them!

In addition, I love to craft, I could craft all day if I wanted to! So I'll be at the event, not only open for questions or concerns, but to help the rest of our lovely Little Helpers (some of who you'll get to meet through this blog over the course of time!) with getting things crafted for your enjoyment! :>

I'm also more than willing to help out with deep dungeons (I finally have a full Palace of the Dead clear under my belt, as well as eight Heaven-on-High ones!). I can also help out with things like Eureka and Bozja as well! Or maybe you just want to farm Extreme and Savage content, I can do most of those, too!

When I'm not in-game, I pursue a lot of different creative outlets. One of the bigger ones lately is that I've been writing a lot. Though, I do like to draw as well, I enjoy GPosing, and I've even been dabbling in making gifs of my characters! It's been a fun experience setting them up and getting even little scenes played out between each of my individual shot set ups!

I am also decidedly very annoying on my main blog (@paintedscales; funnily enough, I never really saw myself extending outside that bubble when I returned to social media!) about my WoL and my ship there. My WoL and the ship I have for her tickle my brain good and give me warm fuzzies, what can I say?

Hello! Welcome to my main blog that feels more like a side blog. Oops!

This is here solely to fuel my brain rot hours. Whether it's through gpose, drawing it, posting commissions I've bought, writing it out, or engaging in filling out questions via any one of the aforementioned means (sans commissions), I will be Completely Normal™ about my blorbos and my ship here.

Born 1992; easier to let people do the math from there rather than constantly update how old I am every year I get older. As for the person behind the blog, I'm genderfluid, demisexual / demiromantic myself. I'm a childhood cancer survivor -> leukemia (Type ALL), though still have to deal with the fallout from that (hip and shoulder replacements as a result from medication).

If you actually want a more diverse amount of posts that still are focused on FFXIV, I'm more composed and less unhinged over at @primamchorus -- a blog that feels more like a main blog! I'll post other screenshots (gpose, glamour, or scenery -- or all of the above), art I've made, writings and whatnot over there. More of my OCs live over there.

Otherwise... thanks for being an audience to one: my blorbo dump site, and two: my demisexual / panromantic ship hell hole named Cinnamon Ship (Estinien + Nomin = Estinomin = Cinnamon). Nomin is a demigirl, and I headcanon Estinien as being demisexual / demiromantic.

I only do emotes for Twitch and Discord. I also do custom stickers for Discord as well. Anything bigger, and you might end up with me trying to wrestle my ADHD into the dirt just to start or even finish.

$10 per emote || $20 per sticker

Sweet/Savory/Spicy: I like sweet, I love spiced. I’m very much a mulled wine, chai, gingerbread, spice cake, honey, and cinnamon type.

Relationship Status: Together for 8 years and every day feels like the day we met.

Current Obsession:

Ajisai and Aymeric’s relationship. There’s just factors that make it interesting to me. I’ll put this below a cut because I feel like I’m about to start rambling. I tried to keep the bullet points narrowed down specifically to the shit that’s occupied my brain the last 24 hours.

Eorzea’s attitude on interracial relationships; Ishgard’s on outsiders and Au Ra. I think it further feeds Ajisai’s self loathing.

I imagine Aymeric would have a lot to consider before pursing any kind of relationship, especially one that would be as high profile as the WoL

Ajisai being unsure if her affection for him is something she came by honestly or if it’s some part of her still conditioned to worship authority.

She’s afraid that their current closeness/friendship is Aymeric working an angle.

She is painfully aware that she does not live up to the standard of a good Ishgardian lady, much less a wife

Thank you for letting me know! I did my own research, and it looks like it is only partially accurate. The American Heart Association, Cleveland Clinic, and Resuscitation Council UK all have put out statements saying that while it may be used to slightly prolong consciousness during full cardiac arrest, it is not very useful otherwise, and is not a substitute for other, more effective medical care.

If someone experiences a heart attack, of course the first course of action should be calling 911 / 999. And if there is another person who can do CPR, they should do so.

However, if one is alone, and they experience cardiac arrest, coughing may still buy them the few extra conscious seconds needed to dial emergency services.

2. Contest

Nothing spells 'contest' better than a fishing contest. Between your struggles of skill in timing the right cast or fighting pure random luck, a contest of fish has never been more grueling. Elika has only dabbled in fishing for her survival, but when her colleague Tandem offers a wager, then she may get competitive.

Aaa, hi and thank you for this! ♥ I answered this already over here on my other blog. The answers there are all very serious. So I'll use this time to give some more things that make me happy with less gravity to them.

So here are five other things that make me happy!

Caramel-drizzled turon. Turon's such a staple, nostalgic treat for me. My grandparents would make it, and my mother taught me how to make it. It's one of those delicious sweet treats of the Philippines that I really love and can't really say no to.

Mint chocolate chip ice cream. Another nostalgic treat from my childhood. Though this is more from my dad's side. I never really knew him to bake or make sweets that much -- he loves cooking, though. But I remember and I enjoy having a bowl of mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Cheesecake. This one is just a me thing. I love cheesecake. It's one of my favorite go-tos when I'm feeling down and when I have the ability to just treat myself. If I get it plain, I can dress it up however I want.

My ships. I mean, who doesn't like their ships, honestly. I just love seeing them together. I love them so much. I would gnaw off my legs to see them together. My current hyperfixation ships are Cinnamon, Quicksilver Dancers, and Haunted Memories, though. Cinnamon you get to see all over this blog and is Estinien and Nomin. Quicksilver Dancers is going to be a bit more over on @primamchorus and consists of Primam and Prompto. Haunted Memories is mine and my partner's first ship together, and consists of our OCs, Jaydin and Myrddin.

A good stretch. The feeling of your muscles just being stretched so nicely and then feeling refreshed afterward is honestly such a nice thing. I love feeling that nice stretch that helps get some of that tension in whatever affected area it is alleviated.
