my first visible mend on a long sleeve plaid shirt my boyfriend thrifted years ago. he originally sewed this hole back together with embroidery floss a while back, which ripped back open on this thin fabric. it's got a few more holes that need to be mended but im very happy with how its looking so far

behold, a pocket! god I am NOT very skilled with machine sewing yet and I have no experience with garment construction, but I did my best here to replace half the pocket on these jeans after being ripped open. there was also a worn spot above where I redid the pocket so I sewed a reinforced patch over that area too. there's a second pocket to do and then some holes in the jeans where the pockets lay that will be patched and reinforced with some sashiko style embroidery. that's the only part that'll be visible do it's ok this pocket isn't exactly,,, beautiful
