What is the worst thing that has happened to your character? Why was this so horrible? How has this experience shaped their personality and actions?

there’s a lot that’s happened to Ekira that could be considered “the worst thing” in all honestly— being experimented and tortured on, receiving their back scar, their entire existence— but if they had to name one thing it was watching their mother get ripped away and killed directly in front of them.

It shaped them a lot in the sense that they were incredibly traumatized by it, but are trying to work through their trauma by being what their mother raised them to be— a kind person, and being kinder to themselves in the process. They’re also trying to get through life with a monster form they know nothing about but yknow. They’re trying!

Trolly problem! Your character must decide between ten innocent people that they have no connection to and one person that they love. Choosing one means that the other(s) will perish. What do they choose and why? Would they be able to live with the decision? What if it was 100 people vs. the person they love? 1,000? One million?

Maxwell chooses the people he loves without hesitation. He has already lost people who are dear to him and there is no question that this will happen again, no matter what the cost.

Iseult would have such a hard time, it's a moral dilemma or whatever she chooses. This will mark her forever. So it is almost impossible to know what exactly she will choose.

({They'll talk but be incredibly distrustful, usually. They prefer the stranger talk more, in general, though, they don't interact with many strangers, which is probably for the best. They prefer to engage with known quantities. Their relationships tend to be very bizarre partly because of their tendencies in this regard and partly because their affections are shown non-standardly.})

What is your favorite headcanon about your character?

Ok so, my android character Jax's loves lemons and by extension lemon flavored things.

Not I know what you're thinking, Nia, how can android taste? They don’t got taste buds!

Let me explain.

Space Companion Androids like Jax are meant to protect their human partners. This includes making sure they don't get poisoned by some random alien flower they thought looked tasty or was dared to eat by another of their human partners. So in their mouths they have tongues and these tongues have sensors that can essentially breakdown the plant or whatever and tell if it's gonna kill someone if they eat it.

Now back to Jax and the lemons. The sensors on his tongue are like all the other androids, but because he has FEELINGS nowand can develop likes and dislikes these sensors act sorta in the way tastebuds would.

However they're very dulled, so he needs something really spicy, or SOUR to get any real enjoyment out of eating.

Adhara(regrettably in her opinon) introduced him to lemons and his whole world got turned upside down. Now she gets to watch in horror as her friend devours lemons and lemon flavored things with reckless abandon.

Rain is happy to spend time alone by playing games or listening to music or watching videos, and she likes spending time with friends or family just watching tv or whatever else is decided.

(Whoops, I sorta forgot about this lol)

Vivvon and Laris did develop mutual crushes on each other, but Viv was outright denying it at first, since the two of them being in an alien gladiatorial troupe she was the unwilling co-host of there was the potential of Laris dying. However, Vivvon ends up hanging by her more and more, until she had started to do it unconsciously and it became hard for her to deny her feeling. Thankfully when she finally got the opportunity to finally escape, she was able to bring Laris along.

Does your character have a good relationship with their parents? Are there any parental figures that aren't related to them in their life?

Siona’s mom passed away when she was just an egg, so for a long time it’s pretty much just been her and her older sister, Liara! She never got to meet her mom, but with Liara, it’s a pretty typical older-younger sibling dynamic.

They tend to get on each other’s nerves more often than not since Liara doesn’t quite understand Siona’s interests and Siona doesn’t get why Liara is so bossy all the time. They care for one another a lot though, and it’s very reminiscent of Lilo and Nani’s dynamic from Lilo and Stitch :)

What misconceptions does your character hold about the world? Do they ever learn that they were wrong? If so, how?

Ira used to think the world must be an awful place, given all the experiments the facility subjected him to.

He was always told the work they were doing, all the suffering he went through, was for the sake of helping people. So the world outside the sterile white walls must be suffering equally as much, if not more, than he was. It must be bland and colorless and full of pain, because that was all he knew. How could he think any different?

But then he escaped.

And the world was so much more colorful than he ever imagined. It was so green. And warm.

Yes, there was still pain, but there was also kindness. There was good food and sunshine and a comfortable bed and there was love. There was so much love.

Not quite niche, but Emma has had a special interest in birds for as long as he can remember. That interest went from her just trying to mimic the local birdsong to actually learning about taxonomy and identification.

She would not give a powerpoint presentation about it because it would be impossibly long because of how many fucking birds there are, and he Does Not Have The Stamina to give an impossibly long presentation

also she doesnt have access to a computer or anything to make a powerpoint.

How easily does your character give out second chances? Have they ever regretted giving someone a second chance? Why?

Oh! This is interesting!!

Mmmhh let me think.

For Abby it is very hard to give second chances. She has a really hard time trusting people, and if someone betrays her she won't trust them again. She will put a red cross on their face and never interact with them anymore. But she has a softer side for people from her family, really close family, Woods, David, Alice. If she had to give a second chance to one of them it would be hard, and it would need time, but she would definitely do it. She would try to stay cold and distant with them, but her heart would betray her and she would give in.

For Amara is similar to Abby, but maybe she would be a little bit softer. Give her a REALLY good reason and she will give you a second chance, but nothing would be like before. After what Sparrow did (I'm writing that part and I don't want to give spoilers 👀), Amara was sure she wouldn't give her a second chance, she wanted Sparrow out of her life. But after listening to Sparrow's story and reasons Amara gave her a second chance. In the beginning she thought she would regret it, that Sparrow would hurt her again, and felt a little bit reluctant, but time passed and Sparrow showed her that she could trust her again, even love her again, and Amara realised that she wouldn't regret it. Sometimes she thinks about what would happen if she never gave her a second chance.

Sparrow is very clear when to give a second chance and when not to. She has really good intuition, and she trusts it a lot. She knows when someone deserves a second chance. Usually, family and friends, she has a really soft spot for them. It's a really small circle but she knows them like the back of their hand, so she would forgive them quickly if they really deserve it. But with strangers it is very different, she won't give second chances that easily, maybe she would even give them at all.

I think that's all! I didn't know what character I should talk about so I talked about all my characters hahaha.

My Farmer OC, Julian, is generally kind by nature, and most often forgives offenders, believing that there is no point in wasting his nerves and strength. But to give a second chance depends on the situation.

Julian had practically no friends before moving to Stardew Valley. Those coworkers at Joja's company that he got to socialize with either ignored him or took advantage of him. This took a huge toll on his self-esteem, but luckily his parents' support and therapy helped him deal with toxic people. He forgave almost all offenses and let go of all past negativity, but became more cautious when meeting new ones.

There were times when Julian crossed paths with his old coworkers who were genuinely sorry for their actions, and Julian was able to forgive them because he saw genuine remorse. He can not call them super best friends now, of course, but still has friendly relations, sometimes chatting with them.

There was, however, a moment when he gave a chance to a man, a colleague from Joja, that he decided to take advantage of Julian again. Fortunately, the young Farmer recognized the manipulative behavior, and quickly and firmly ended the whole conversation. He's not their "old friend" - period. Fuck them (yes, Julian can swear).

If anyone tries to hurt him or any of Julian's family/close friends... Yoba help them, for there is nothing scarier than the rage of a kind and patient man. I don't think he can forgive this....
