Leto II and Ghanima as twins is an absolute tragedy.

Here is Leto and his sister. They were born together. They share the same ancestral memories. The only other person like them, their aunt, is being driven insane by her own ancestral memories, and she is trying to make them both end up like her. Their mother is dead, their father is gone, and their grandmother left the planet before they were born and does not return to see her grandchildren until they are nine years old.

They grow up together. They talk together in dead languages.

They are trapped together. They are raised as the children of an Emperor father who walked out on them the day they were born. Their carer, Stilgar, occasionally contemplates killing them because he is afraid of what they are. Their grandmother's people want to force them to marry each other and have children together, and they are horrified by this. They love each other, but not that - never that.

The sister of their father's wife - the wife he never loved, the wife who is not their mother but committed herself to raising them - plots to have them killed. They know the only way to survive is to separate.

They have never been apart before.

By the time they reunite a year later, their father has just been murdered. Their aunt immediately kills herself in front of them. Leto Atreides II, aged ten, is the Emperor of most of the universe, and he is no longer human. He will never be alike to his sister again. He will live for thousands of years. He is fond of children - he will never have children of his own.

He runs until he exhausts himself and then he puts his head in his sister's lap and asks her to find a way for him to die.

Ghanima dies first. Spice extends her lifespan, but she dies two centuries later.

Leto will live another 3,300 years without his twin.

3,500 years into Leto's reign, Ghanima's descendant steals Leto's Journals and finds between the pages a strand of Ghanima's hair, a pressed flower that Ghanima once gave Leto, and a poem that Leto wrote when he was told that Ghanima had died.

Siona, descendant of Ghanima, realises how much Leto Atreides II loved his sister, and views it only as a weakness to be exploited.

LATGBG - Mess With One and You Mess With Them All

A word to the wise, it doesn't matter how chill a guy may be. They could be the chillest, kindest, most shirt-off-their-back kind of person, but like anyone else, they have a limit. And there are few things more terrifying than when that person finally hits that limit.

Especially if they're a mellow space dinosaur and they caught wind of you slandering their slug BFF/Confidant/It's Complicated. You might as well go shopping for a coffin before they and their tagalong lizard-monkey-gremlin figure out where you live.

So...one post ago, I brought up a great upcoming indie project known as @latgbg (btw, you outta support it to when the time comes), and how I was going to do a fanart of it very soon. Well, a promise is a promise.

Seriously though, I can't emphasize enough how adorable Siona and Davin are when @starteas draws them together. A "sensitive and spunky" pair where one half is a good-natured reptile AND the sensitive one? Sign me the heck up!

Fusion au my beloved

This is one of the (many) AUs I have popping around in my brain. A good old fusion au! In particular an au where, while sheltering their hearts, Sora can fuse temporarily with the members of the heart hotel! These are sketchy little character sheets I did for my favourites, Siona (Sora + Xion) and Noivarn (Sora + Vanitas), who I also imagine are the most common out of all the fusions. More under cut!

Starts around kh2. The fusion would only happen in the heat of battle; at first it was accidental, Sora panicked and unconsciously reach out for help and Xion… answered? And then suddenly they were dual wielding and Siona!!! Then it took like,,, thirty minutes of calm (and a nap) for Sora to go back to normal. After that it was a little more intentional as they figured it out together! Add the other heart hotel members to the mix and you got SO many different fusions to have fun with. The fusions are very much one person, but not they’re own person? They are SORA and whoever he’s fused with but like,,, at the same time? They view themself as one being not two (or more) people piloting one body, but at the same time they don’t view themself as a separate person to their parts. They can’t grow a new heart because they already HAVE one.

Anyway notes on these two in particular:

Siona

-The first! Also the most likely to fuse after figuring out they still can post split. They think it’s fun!

-baby™️, they use these powers for evil.

-dual wielder!

-a sweetheart, extremely traumatised

Noivarn

-Sora’s need to tease his friends mixed with Vanitas’ want to insult everyone and anything make it Donald’s worst nightmare

-very protective and aggressive about it

-got to meet Yen Sid once, is no longer allowed to meet Yen Sid

-can summon unversed! This freaks everyone out when he first does it. Summons them when bored/just to have something to hold

-besides Ven it’s the most mean to Aqua, they Do Not get along but she can’t physically fight them without hurting Sora so she is just >:(

-sorta??? Flirts with Riku

-pretty much only uses nicknames

-likes being part of Sora/Sora+Vanitas!!! It doesn’t hurt as much and he gets to eat ice cream and have friends!!!

Lea then proceeds to be slammed with his Xion memories #when they explain they are Sora and Roxas AND Xion and her name just triggers all the memories and they’re all crying but happy #no fusion with Vani + Ven is stable. they only fuse twice: once accidentally which they recked shop then left Sora in a coma for two days #and once after Sora defeats Marluxia and they RECOGNISE Lauriam and just run to him sobbing as he fades and then when he’s gone they just #scream and let out a wave of power that like kills all the heartless in a five hundred mile radius and then passes out #and they are never seen again and neither Sora or Ventus or Vanitas can remember what happened

LATGBG - Love Goes Down with the Ship

As Holden demonstrates why you shouldn't let a physical embodiment of chaos be at the wheel, poor Davin decides that now is a good time to let it all out...a pity the only ones listening are those who won't let him hear the end of it.

I swear, this comic came to me in a dream almost immediately after the last one (hence why I was able to complete it so soon). I look at this adorable tall lizard boi and I say to myself "listen, I love you, and I would put my life on the line to protect you, but putting you in these situations is too darn hilarious to pass up". So, here you have a case of peak meets peak (Next to HTTYD and KFP, the Madagascar trilogy is the best three-story pack Dreamworks has given us on account of it being the funniest).

And yes, I think you've probably figured out by this point that I have a major ship headcanon already. This show might as well have dangled a candy bar over my head when it provided a close-knit pair of polar opposite childhood friends with a reptile involved. Yes, I'm aware that they're just friends...but what if somewhere down the line that changes? It's adorable to think about! Now what do I call It? Siovin? Davona? Eh, you decide. Either way, let's not forget that all headcanons are valid here (or at least, they should be).

Also, I get a real kick imagining how Holden and Mika could be disaster "friends" in canon. It's order vs. mayhem all the way.
