Some time ago, I dropped my favourite watercolour palette & many pans crumbled into small pieces. I put it away, devastated by the destruction I caused...
Recently, I've built up the courage to unearth the disaster—only to discover the damage was never that bad. It's entirely repairable. There was no reason to bury my blunder and marinate in shame so long. I'm slowly learning not every mistake I make is unforgivable.
Nothing is ruined, it's going to be alright.

Here's some art from 2017 sketchbooks while I figure out what I want to do with this account.

I got devoured by mosquitoes whilst attempting to draw ducks on my evening walk. Was it worth it? idk

Hello Writeblr, Nice to Meet You 💛
Jules, 27 they/them Writer, Reader & Artist (most likely autistic & adhd)
I'm currently writing the first draft of my Kass series (all 5 books at once). It's queer dark fantasy packed with generational trauma & enemies to lovers. My goal is to finish by December, then rewrite everything in 2024.
I've been writing since I was small, so I've already finished multiple novels. Just taking my time to sharpen my skills before publishing. There's no real rush 🐌
Miscellaneous facts about me:
I work from home.
My first language is French.
I studied literature in university.
I've read 114 books so far in 2023.
I've been with my romantic partner 7 years.
Share your favourite books, if you think we could vibe! (or your own books, if you're an indie author) I love exploring different genres & always need recommendations.
DMs are always open 💕
