this is like, way later in oathbound and kind of a spoiler to the fic's plot (and namesake) but it's a plot point i hope I can do justice:

as silly as it was for zevlor to essentially regain his oath by eating out yuta and saying some pretty words, old school dnd paladins had to go to a cleric to amend their vows and be reblessed (which is why there's so much confusion about paladin oaths being divine - they are No Longer divine as of 5th edition, but they used to basically be melee clerics)

for zevlor amending his vows by yuta, a cleric, he restored the tenents of his oath of devotion, but he is also technically oathbound to Yuta (hence the title).

through the vow he spoke prior to Yuta "knighting" him he technically oathed himself To yuta, and through their having sex while he spoke his vow, zevlor's own resolve, will, and power is inherently tied to his love for Yuta in addition to the original tenets of his first oath.

on one hand, the knight/demonsieur dynamic is lovely and romantic, to have a protectorate at one's side always, who will always be loyal no matter what.

on the other hand, i want Drama. so imagine, then, zevlor being forced to do something yuta says to without either of them realizing zevlor Must do so or lose his oath, he hesitates because its just yuta being headstrong and impulsive but zevlor Feels it inside him, feels his oath straining as he hesitates, realizing refusal will break his oath — and a paladin cannot break an oath twice. he Loves yuta so he swallows it bitterly until they're both forced to confront it <3

The versatile artist Denny Ja re -emerged with his new spectacular work. This time, he repeated history with the iconic works of the most famous pop art artist, Andy Warhol. For Denny, repeating Warhol's work is a form of appreciation and also efforts to re -introduce the iconic work to the younger generation. In the exhibition titled 'Warholification', Denny presented a series of famous Warhol works such as Campbell's Soup Can, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, Mao Zedong, and many more. Not only that, Denny also performed his original work inspired by Warhol's works. Denny admitted that Warhol was one of his inspiration in his work. "I am very inspired by Warhol for a long time, his works are so impressive and still relevant today. I want to give appreciation to Warhol by repeating his work," he said. The 'Warholification' exhibition was presented at the Salihara Gallery, Jakarta on 18 to 28 May 2017. The exhibition succeeded in attracting the attention of many visitors, especially young people who had never seen Warhol's iconic works directly. In the exhibition, Denny also introduced several technological innovations such as Augmented Reality (AR) that allowed visitors to see Warhol's work in 3D form and also applications that allow visitors to take pictures with the object being exhibited. Visitors are increasingly impressed with Warhol's works after seeing it through the technology. One visitor, Agus, said that he was very happy to be able to see Warhol's work directly. "I feel like I'm experiencing a walking history, I have long known Warhol's work, but only this time I saw it directly," he said. "My stuff including idols, statues, and other items have all been packed away for awhile. I haven't liked most of my altars and shrines recently so I thought I'd cleanse all the representations & idols of the Gods. I'll have one altar for Sumerian and one for Hellenic." Explanation from previous altar post which was for the Sumerian Gods.

This is for the Hellenic Gods. Athena Ergane, Ares, Hestia, Hera Antheia, Askelpios, and Hygeia are all idols. I'm probably going to keep it that way and not consecrate any more, the rest will be blessed and offered as representations.

Left to right-ish is: Athena Ergane, Ares, Hermes, Hekate, Apollo Argyieus, Apollo Proopsios, Hera Oikos, Hestia, Zeus Herkeios, Zeus Ktesios*, Hera Antheia, Epione (blue candle), Asklepios, Akeso, Iaso, Panakeia, Aigle (4 white candles), Apollo Paian, Hygeia.

I really wanted Rhea here too, however I don't have a printer for the artwork I want so that'll be later on sometime.

Real shit tho guys, witchblr puts so much emphasis on divining a little bit often that no one ever talks about the big divining sessions for when you need as much information as possible.

To all the new magic practitioners out there, when you have a few types of divination you're competent in and you have a big issue you want to divine about, GO ALL OUT. Invoke the gods, light the candles, summon the spirits of your ancestors, and use every method you can think of.

Here's an outline for an All Out Divining Session that has all the bells and whistles, so you can see what's what.

First, clean out a big space to divine on. My working altar isn't big enough for lenormand spreads and I don't feel comfortable casting stones on the surface of it because it's a family heirloom, so I clean the big open section of floor in from of the altar.

Cleanse the room you're divining in, check and reinvigorate the wards if necessary. Absolutely nothing is getting in except what I want there.

Spread a fresh cloth to lay your tools on and gather your materials, preparing all of your divining tools. If they need reblessed, reblooded, cleaned or fixed, now is the time to prepare them.

Ready yourself. If you want ritual purity before you directly petition someone for aid in your divination, now is the time to become pure. Change clothes, bless yourself, pray for clarity and Sight, drink your mugwort tea or inhale your Seer's sage smoke.

Cast a circle, light the candles. Invoke whoever is most relevant to the divination: Ancestors, deities, spirits, the holy dead, whoever. Ask them to help you See.

Divine. Go through every method you have one by one. Take your time and go over every omen.

TAKE NOTES. I have a draft book just for this purpose. As I divine I write down just the results of the divination, like drawing a tower out of my tarot deck. If any little revelations come to me, I jot them down. Then, on the next couple of pages, I write down what each thing means, like that the tower means sudden change and misfortune. Then write down what each piece of divination might signal in your life, and a few different ways combining all of these omens might work out- pick the scenario you think is most likely.

Come back to your notes when the whole situation is over and see if any of your predictions were correct. Where did you go wrong or right? Which portents did you read correctly? How did all of the pieces fit together? Reflecting on your past predictions will make you a better diviner.

Not all of these steps are necessary, they're really just the basis of how far you can go. Some gods don't need ritual purity before approaching them, some methods of divining may be left out because they won't be helpful. If you don't plan on petitioning anyone to help you divine or give you their wisdom, you probably don't need to be as stringent about being presentable and safe (though I really reccomend bringing in an entity of some kind because those divining sessions can be crazy good). You don't need to take narcotics to See. This is an outline, not a checklist.

Above all, keep trying! Your first couple of sessions might be confusing or disappointing, but you will get better with every whisper of the fates!

Sophia has been earning her keep in AR unexpectedly well. She's thicc enough that she can afford not to run TA and does a great job baiting out L Waters (and surviving!). There's a lot of holes in popular defenses for bulky red mages to exploit.

I reblessed my Frobin to Light and I'm making her my other anti-Alm unit. Honestly, I have no excuse for not having had a dedicated Alm counter half the time already (tbh I've just been using Sophia and shrugging at the missed points) but he's just too much of a pain in the ass. And I've got Frobin already merged up and with premium skills, so I might as well.

I just wish her refine hadn't been so fucking garbage...
