The Pokedex entry for Dusknoir saying that the species escorts people to the afterlife + Similar psychopomp figures sometimes being depicted with lanterns to help the souls they guide to the afterlife + PMD Dusknoir being able to make his markings light up + him asking Grovyle if his life will shine on as they were dying. There is something in there. I don't know what it is but there is something in there—

I did a little dubble check for you Bobbi (and for myself too lmao), about when Frey was exactly born. Cinta states that she was born just before the corruption entered Junoon. She tells Frey in the sequence when Frey leaves Praenost (in the distant memories sequence).
She probably only had a few hours to spare with Frey, and it freaking breaks my heart.
That's what I remembered, that basically Frey was born and Cinta had to send her away almost immediately. Not even a whole day with the baby she'd been so looking forward to meeting and raising )':
It's also one of the things that makes me think the Corruption happens because the Tantas go mad, not the other way around. When it entered Junoon Cinta knew she only had a short time left; the Corruption in her realm meant she was already losing her grip on sanity. She didn't have time before she'd fully lose her mind, so she sent her baby to somewhere she believed was safe.
And we can joke all we like about how dropping a fresh out the womb infant in the streets of NYC is distinctly not safe and probably a sign of Cinta's madness, but I like to believe she sent Frey to somewhere she was confident Al would find her, that she thought she was sending Frey to her dad. And maybe she did and something happened to him that put Frey in the foster system, or maybe she didn't, but either way I have to believe Cinta tried to get Frey to Al.

WHISPERED SOULS GUYS.
seeing as it has that big motif for the giants in the middle and the title could pertain to the giant's marbles, i was 100% convinced this song only plays when angrboda is showing atreus the marbles for the first time, but that would be too simple so naturally i did some overthinking.
so ive been listening to the full song a lot, and theres a little interlude of atreus's theme at the beginning and i found myself thinking "this kind of sounds like that feeling when you move into a new home but something doesnt feel right", and that also applies to the marbles bit, BUT IT DOESNT PLAY AT THE MARBLES BIT.
IT PLAYS WHEN ATREUS IS IN HIS ROOM IN ASGARD. HES IN A NEW HOME BUT SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT.
and then the scene transitions to from atreus to kratos doing the same action. WHISPERED SOULS.

Didn't the voice mention having no spark?
Maybe that's why it can't speak properly it doesn't have the energy to (spark of life msm)
Yeah 18(8) did.
I had thought about it meaning the spark of life but I hadn't considered it being the reason why they're struggling to speak. Hmm

Had a 1984 book Revelation (that was absolutely a pun):
Mr. Goldstein supposedly was a very high-profile member who left “the party” and went on to publicly disprove the belief system… So assuming he isn’t a completely made-up lie………
Wouldn’t that make him their equivalent of Raymond Franz?

it's actually really healthy and important to follow people who ship things i Do Not, because their posts making undeniable evidence out of random crumbs they found on the canon floor (sometimes the very same crumbs used as undeniable evidence for a different ship by someone else in the very next post) creates an excellent outside perspective for how i am also winding a red string around thumbtacks on a conspiracy board every time i log on to the otp hive mind. keeps me humble.

Watching you tma post is so much fun. You are going full thumbtacks and red string but this is the thumbtacks and red string podcast so your actually surprisingly close to the truth most of the time.
It's great because I have no notes anywhere I'm just shoving all the information in my head and hoping they don't fall out
