My advice all assumes your little guy is as energetic as Thunder was. I hear Totodiles are generally pretty hyper, but every species has its exceptions. Plus, Thunder was a battling Totodile, while I don't know about yours. So it may have different exercise needs.

Thunder LOVES to work his jaws, so I'd guess that's your biggest concern. Cody would and still sometimes does get rubber balls for Thunder to chew on to tire him out. Just remember that they aren't indestructible. They'll break, so have back-ups. And make sure it can't choke on them.

Berries are also good. Different kinds have different hardnesses and textures that Thunder likes the feel of. He likes the challenge of trying to break the really hard ones, like Aspear, Pinap, and Wepears. His favorite is the Custap.

And give it plenty of room to swim around. They're built for water after all. We're lucky enough to live by a strong river that Thunder can travel up and down in. Just don't leave it on its own unless you can absolutely trust it won't cause people trouble.

Try to keep your limbs away from its mouth as much as possible, even just as a little Totodile. Thunder gave me a nasty break once accidentally. But on the bright side, he's been very careful since then. He felt horrible about it.

So horrible that I never told Cody until now.

Hello Nimo very awesome to meet/write to you! As of currently no but there is a zorua that lives around my house! Not gonna lie i really want a pokemon partner of my own but when i was 10 i wasn't allowed to have one because we didn't have the time for one, but now that I'm 16 I'm hopefully going to get a partner soon!

You're quite welcome- Indeed!

Now I don't normally work with Serperior, Servine, and Snivy myself on a regular basis, so this question may be better fielded to my contemporaries, however I can share what I have data on and do have experience with.

Servine and Snivy share quite a few of the aforementioned behaviors. The notable exception is that the Servine tend to spend a bit more time on the ground. While still being a primarily arboreal species, you can bet that this mid-evolution Pokémon will begin expanding its territory to include ground space as well as the tree space around it.

Now, notably, many Pokémon do not actually reach an evolved state. The ones that do traditionally do so to respond to a stimulus that necessitates evolution. This could be a change in the ecological dynamic of our example Snivy, it could be a response to an imbalance of another species, or it could be a response to availability of food and competition.

The Serperior that do reach this third stage are behaviorally very different than Servine and Snivy. I had the pleasure of having a Serperior on one of the episodes of "The Wonderful World of Pokémon", and got to know them and their habits as we worked together on the episode. It was a real treat.

Serperior are the "Lord of the Forest" for a reason! Within their territories, they boast a top predator status. They are incredibly powerful monsters and are fully aware of their own ability. They are some of the most naturally introspective creatures (self proclaimed), and constantly occupy themselves with the building of quite complex grass nests and true political negotiations with the territory powers in the Forest. I got to know quite a bit about these kingdoms and the complex exchanges of power in my few months of work with my costar.

Behaviorally, you'll still see the "dance" that you'll see in Snivy for courtship, but while Snivy is all about quick agility and impressive shakes, watching a courtship dance between two Serperior is like watching a royal court ball. The glare, the hood, the complex body language.

If I had the chance to commentate on footage of a Serperior courting dance I would jump at the chance. The lovely Serperior I had the pleasure of working with shared their incredible courtship stories with me.

If you don't mind, what 'mons do you both have on your teams? (Or in general, if you don't consider yourselves as having proper 'teams' per say)

We both have more than a team of six. And we like to spar sometimes, to keep in shape.

My champion team from my trainer journey is Pierce the Typhlosion, Percy the Crobat, Benjamin the Jolteon, Sheila the Dragonite, Nika the Furret, and Twist the Nidoking. The others that I own are Pelly the Butterfree, Skylar the Togekiss, Ivan the Victreebel, Momo the Ambipom, her Aipom daughter Sunny, and Susan the Gyarados. Oh, and a shiny Diglett named Button.

And my sister-in-law was kind enough to let me take ownership of her Flygon's shiny son, Darren. And I guess I technically own Clover, the Gardevoir, as well, but she doesn't like to be in her ball. I forget that I actually own her.

There are a lot more in the woods that I'm close with, but those listed are the ones I'm the trainer of.

My champion team is Thunder the Feraligatr, Mini the Ampharos, Fang the Arbok, Swift the Crobat, Lucky the Ninetales, and Frenzy the Beedrill! (Don't let his name fool you, he's chill as can be! ^-^)

The others I have are Clamp the Kingler, Atta the Ratticate, and Tate the Hypno.

I also have a Gallade named Dylan, who is Clover's mate.

Oh, and my longest held partner, although I haven't owned her as long as I've known her; A Floette named Pari. She's not a battler though.

[Saturn vigorously opens the package, tail swishing excitedly as he plops himself down on the floor, and starts digging through the package. The plushies and space-themed items catch his eyes first, quickly inspecting them before moving onto everything else. The chortles at the hand puppet, setting it aside next to the plushies.

He's less enthused about the boardgames, though mostly due to a lack of experience with them than anything else. Still, he inspects them carefully, looking at each one before setting it to the side to move onto the next, quickly gaining interest in each of them.

When he's done with that, he moves onto the note, reading through it carefully. He nods quietly, already knowing how sacred time is; he is a follower of Dialga afterall. He won't lose the chance to spend as much time as possible enjoying this new life he's gotten.]
