While out for a swim, Araqua would notice an odd sight. A dark blue, tiger-sized catmon, with yellow stripes, walking across the ocean's surface, with determination, and purpose. Upon its back, lays an unconscious person.

It seems to be headed in the direction of the east Crown Tundra, where the land meets the sea.

"How long have you been running bud?" Araqua asks the feline, but immediately realizes that they should probably get the person on its back. They try doing a quick check for major injuries, though they immediately notice their hybrid biology

"Oh Zamazenta..." They mutter under their breath as they get their rotom bike, attach a rope and hook to the floating ice and starts to peddling to the nearest part of galar.

Hey, so like, how hard is it to get into Pokedex repair? I'm picking up stuff like bike repair pretty easily, but I'm imagining electronic is a whole nother beast, right?

Most Pokedex models are kinda similar to e-book readers, in that they do qualify as computers that can run various operating systems but are usually confined to a special OS that mostly just does Pokedex things. As such, they’re generally lower-tech (excluding the Kalosian standard Pokedex and the Galarian Rotom Phones) and not that difficult to learn to repair!

I’m not the Pokedex repair expert at the store, but I’m still capable of doing the simple stuff like screen and shell replacements. Our designated Pokedex expert’s been working on them for ten years, though, and while she mastered the lower-tech models early, the Kalos Pokedex jobs are still time-consuming. Why did they have to add that holographic center thingy.

Also the professor would be Pine & uses they/them & since there's no more Miraidon/Koraidon there could be a special vehicle powered by Rotom like we've had phones & dexes like that. The gyms would be BugFairyElectricGhostFireFlyingGroundSteel and E4 would be IceWaterGrassNormal. There'd be random NPCs that become more important later for DragonPsychicDarkFightingRockPoison. Also your home is near a big bustling city called Milchaguee (Milwaukee+Chicago)

oooo, I love pokémon. it's hard to pick a best, because there are elements of each that I love. for eg, the aesthetic of the legends arceus and the photo shop and the exploration and how you do actually throw the pokéballs is incredible, playing with pokémon properly in x and farming berries and the hoards are fun, while I adore some of the regional forms in moon, I like the shield dlc in particular because I love legendary hunting and peony is like my favourite character in anything ever, the battles in go are tense I think, oh and I like the soups and camping in shield and how the bikes feel to ride. so like, I can't pick a favourite outright, I think I would pick a hypothetical game that combined everything I like within other games lmao. but I have the most hours in arceus, if that's worth anything, so it's probably that, by virtue of you play what's most enjoyable most usually.
