An interesting tale appearing in Mawlana Jalal ad Din Rumi’s Matsnavi.

A devotee was praying when satan appeared to him and said: “How long wilt thou cry ‘O Allah?’ Be quiet for thou wilt get no answer.” The devotee hung his head in silence. After a while he had a vision of the mystic guide Khidr (Alayhi salam), who said to him, “Ah, why hast thou ceased to call on Allah?”

“Because the answer, ‘Here I am, came not,” he replied. Khidr (Alayhi salam) said, “Allah hath ordered me to go to thee and say this: ‘Was it not I that summoned thee to My service? Did I not make thee busy with My name? Thy calling “Allah!” was my “Here I am,” Thy yearning pain My messenger to thee. Of all those tears and cries and supplications I was the magnet, and I gave them wings.”

“The nearest a servant can be to his Lord is while in prostration, hence excessively make dua [in that position].” - Sahih Muslim - [482]

For #RumirWeek 2020, Day 4: Wedding Vows

The Two Princes came to me in a very hard time, and the positivity and message of love that it sent really got me through it. This podcast will always hold a special place in my heart, and I wanted to write a song for it. Writing this song really took me down memory lane and I really had a great time! I’m sorry for the rant, I just wanted to say thank you, ttpp, for being a positive and loving force in my life, here’s my song to you. I hope all you fellow heartlanders out there enjoy it! 💖💕💗💓💞

What is #RumirWeek?

#RumirWeek is a Two Princes Podcast fandom (AKA Heartlander) ship week. Ship-weeks are fan-run and provide inspiration for fans to create fanwork (fic, cosplay, poetry, art, etc). The general purpose is to celebrate Rupert and Amir and also to celebrate the first anniversary of Season 2
