ok so i have run into a very sad dilemma:

when i was trying to find yarn for the borders on my cardigan, my craft store didnt have any trans flag colored yarn which is why I ordered some online.

now... the yarn I got was a good and pretty yarn, but it's VERY different from the yarn on my trans grannies. alas the perils of buying yarn you cant touch first. it's a different texture, it's a smaller weight, and the white isn't WHITE white the way the squares are.

HOWEVER!!!

my last trip for yarn revealed THIS

Big Twist is the same yarn I used for the trans grannies ;;; AND THEY HAVE TRANS COLORED YARN NOW, which means it will match MUCH BETTER on my cardigan

BUT i have already done all the borders on my cardigan with the other yarn. so my options are accept it and stick with the slightly off yarn, or cry as I cut the stitches to remove that yarn and redo it with one that matches better.

and honestly. i think im probably gonna redo it, as much as it'll hurt to cut the stitches :( i think ill be happier in the end of it matched better

You ever think about how much Cora-san had to hide his true self through his entire life?

With the Marines, not being able to talk about everything he was and everything he had been and everything that had happened to him before he joined? (Just maybe with Sengoku, maybe?)

With Doffy's crew when he joined them to spy on them, having to hide what he truly was and what he truly thought and everything he truly felt about what they were doing and what kind of man Doffy was?

With Law, when he first met him, hiding every feeling he actually felt for him, hiding how he understood that little boy better than the boy understood himself, hiding all the pity and the love he felt for him. At least he had those months with Law when they were by themselves and he was able to show who he was and what he felt, but even then EVEN THEN, at the very end, he had to hide what he knew would happen when Doffy found them.

At least he got to tell Law he loved him before the end.
