Charley ( Charley ) [ Rogue aligned with Kurain Tribe / WindClan ] - Defined and lanky red-brown cat that accessorizes with various plants, feathers, etc. He also seems to have moss growing in his fur, which kinda freaks other cats out but it’s fine. He’s very knowledgeable about plants and befriended Sagepool after wandering into WindClan territory. He likes helping the Kurain Tribe with herb gathering and medicine if they need and remains very close to WindClan even after Sagepool’s death.

Vox ( Longecho ) [ WindClan ] - Mottled brown warrior with grey around their muzzle and no love for Blazestar and Stormthroat. During the ThunderClan attack that lead to Dappleclaw’s death and Quailpaw being taken, Longecho had been a valiant warrior in the fight and worked hard immediately after to try to get the other Clans to hold ThunderClan accountable for this terrible deed. Ultimately, however, they dropped that pursuit entirely when the other Clans simply grumbled disapproval and refused to back up their words.

Calisto ( Yewmask ) [ ShadowClan ] - Dark brown she-cat with a face dusted in lighter browns. Her sister turned up dead mysteriously and so Yewmask has been working tirelessly since to figure out what happened to her sister and bring justice upon the perpetrators. Unconnected specifically to Yewmask, Crowpaw goes out on their own and drags Quailclaw into this whole mess. With Quailclaw’s help, the mystery becomes solved and cats are made to answer for their crimes.

Sebastian ( Curlsong ) [ ThunderClan ] - Apparently I had already named Sebastian lmao. He is a dusty brown cat with very curly fur, going so far as to still have his canon signature question mark curl on top of his head. I don’t know about Fight Cat personality development milestones, but he is still the host of a system and I’ll give the members some description in a sec. Blazestar forcibly made Curlkit an apprentice much too young. Blazestar’s mate was furious and tried to argue, even going so far as to attempt attacking him, but vanished shortly thereafter. I think his mentor should be Justine given canon line and I haven’t named her so let’s go Nightshine.Curlpaw is an uncoordinated mess, but Blazestar threatens every warrior to keep their mouths shut if they know what’s good for them. Curlpaw’s fellow apprentices, while scared of Blazestar, still occasionally gossip behind his back. Curlpaw is allowed to go to Gatherings and the other Clans are like ‘holy shit that is a kit. you stole a kit and made your own kit an apprentice when he is nowhere near old enough what the fuck???’Curlpaw himself is fairly oblivious to most of this - partially due to dissociation and related memory issues - but also Nightshine constantly expressing approval makes him feel like the other apprentices are just jealous of his skill.As before, Blazestar makes Curlpaw a warrior very young, dubbing him Curlsong. Quailclaw begins speaking out against Blazestar and is threatened similarly to canon. Quailclaw leaves ThunderClan and Nightshine continues quietly plotting Blazestar’s downfall. Blazestar catches wind and attempts to use Nightshine’s secretly adopted son against her, but the rogues he enlists to capture him instead grab and rough up Curlsong. Quailclaw finds him and together ( with quite a few more helping paws ) manage to stage a coup against Blazestar. Even so, Curlsong is royally fucked up seeing them strip his father of lives and exile him.Curlsong does still get some form of psychiatric help because Dawnfrost straight up takes him to ShadowClan since they’ve been relatively stable and the medicine cat has been making quite a few strides when it comes to psychology especially with helping Smokepaw. These are cats, though, so it’s pretty rudimentary and both the ShadowClan med cat and Dawnfrost attribute a lot of the symptoms more toward like StarClan in kind of a ‘hey maybe these are ancient ancestors trying to talk to you?’ Obviously that’s not the case, but working on that assumption there were quite a few visits to the Moonpool involved. It helped mostly because it was easier for Curlsong to see the alters in dreams and it helped facilitate the building of an inner world to improve communication.Everything is very rough and not quite accurate and they’re not sure why Curlsong is like this when no one else is, but everyone who knows really tries to be supportive.

THE HARMONY SYSTEM

All of their jobs and personalities are pretty much the same, just more built for being in a cat society. Do these fight cats have music? idk im about to just say Curlsong has a talent for music in a society that doesn’t really have it so it’s basically a lot of layered nature sounds idk :shrug:

The Conductor ( The Star ) - A featureless, semi-translucent cat whose fur glitters with captured stars. One glows bright on their chest.

Flora ( Stoneblossom ) - Powerfully built, short-haired rusty red she-cat with startlingly green eyes. She loves the nursery and tends to be positively triggered out when Curlsong visits the queens or otherwise helps in the nursery. As such, a lot of the queens think very highly of Curlsong because “he is so sweet and understanding and great with kits.”

Lux ( Ember ) - Startlingly red tom whose fur seems to glow and move like fire. His paws leave scorch marks in their wake.

Jen ( Runningheart ) - Dusty brown she-cat with wavy fur and toned muscles.

Aloe ( Aloe ) - Deep blue she-cat with slick, silky fur and snow-white paws. She tends to be triggered out when entering the medicine den. She’s picked up a lot from Dawnfrost and sometimes wishes she could be a medicine cat too.

Apple ( Apple ) - Brightly colored cat that can shapeshift. Hates warrior duties and would much rather lounge in the sun than work

Mel ( Birdtalon ) - Broad-shouldered, dark tortie-tabby tom with a dark grey belly and paws.

Serpent ( Serpent ) - A huge rattlesnake

Fog ( Fog ) - A ghostly white cat that almost seems translucent.

Lee ( Leapkit ) - Black kit with bright green eyes full of wonder.

The inner world resembles the ThunderClan camp with some alters sharing dens and others having their own space. For example, Stoneblossom is often found in the nursery taking care of Leapkit.

I mentioned this in tags, but Sagepool got pregnant very close to the time she became a warrior.

1) Cats are typically made warriors at 12 moons, so she was about 12 or 13 moons old when she became expecting.

2) Cat pregnancies last for two moons, making her either 14 or 15 when Mosskit was born

3) Mosskit was <1 moon old when he died.

4) Sagepool likely died either two or three moons after his death.

This makes her between 17 or 18 when she died, or even still 16 if Mosskit died at a few days old, which is most likely.

Story:

It was okay, though.

She could take care of her son.

But she had only recently become a warrior, and she had no idea what to do.

How was she to know a kit would freeze to death when you leave them alone a night or two?

Or that her loving mate never wanted to speak to her again?

Additional Information:

--Guilt of her kit’s death caused her to starve herself. It wasn’t entirely intentional, she was just too miserable to bother eating.

Ok, uhh, going from the events of Maya's trial from the first game and Misty Fey's involvement in the initial DL6 case, how do you think Phoenix and the Fey family overall fit into Fight Cat Verse? I've been thinking about this for the last few hours ngl, but I don't want to derail any plans that you might have.

Kurain Village and the Khura’in equivalents, I think I want to be tribes with the Kurain tribe having, obviously, come from the Khura’in tribe early on and moving close to the lake territory prior to the arrival of the Clans. I like the idea of Cat Spirit Channeling being a thing and it’s beneficial in that it kinda minimizes vague prophecies and omens, but the channeled cats, while far more specific, tend to not have as much knowledge now that they’re temporarily ‘disconnected’ from well I guess Twilight Realm is still a valid name for the Kurain and Khura’in tribes to use for Cat Afterlife.

The Kurain tribe, being small and having the ability to channel passing matrilineally, has to, as in canon, go outside itself to keep lines alive. They probably had some agreements with other tribes as far as taking mates and such. Once the Clans arrived, the Master came to negotiate and put the same question up. At a Gathering, leaders came to the unanimous decision to decide individually what they’d do. Exact terms became muddled as time went on and now the sight of a Kurain cat, particularly of the Master’s line, coming to socialize and scope out a mate is not particularly unexpected, though individual cats may get bristly. Notably, under Blazestar’s leadership, there was a thorough barring of those visits. In response, WindClan, mostly to be contrary after ThunderClan’s unjust assault, murder of their deputy, and kidnapping of a child, became even friendlier with the Kurain tribe.

Phoenix and Larry ( Ashfeather and Laureltail respectively ) are both WindClan cats and were apprenticed with Quailclaw before ThunderClan’s assault. Ultimately, as apprentices are wont to do, Ashpaw wanted to go out to retrieve Quailpaw fucking immediately after the battle and was 0.2s away from dragging Laurelpaw with him, but was stopped before anything could come of it. Ashpaw felt great guilt afterwards and resolved to be a great warrior to save Quailpaw from ThunderClan’s clutches. It’s a goal that gets muddled a bit as it does in canon, but WindClan’s close ties to the Kurain tribe do facilitate Mia and Ashfeather’s meeting.

There’s no super clear equivalent of Misty being disgraced? I mean, fucking everyone knows Stormthroat killed Dappleclaw and stole his son, but the Kurain tribe has the same internal upheaval as Kurain village does in canon. Morgan probably secretly sets something in motion to run off Misty or make her appear dead and gone sometime before or around the time of ThunderClan’s attack. Mia ends up leaving to work on what happened on her own and joins WindClan ( maybe Morgan made it look like Clans cats were involved? listen I’m essentially rewriting a lawyer game series but cats ). Mia drops a Tribe name I haven’t come up with and takes the name Sagepool and is “intellectually attracted ;)” to Poppysky. She mentors Ashpaw and keeps his life from totally imploding when some inevitable shitstorm with Dahlia’s cat equivalent happens.

( Maybe Ashpaw’s first mentor also dies in the battle and Sagepool takes the job having been there a while? Or she doesn’t officially mentor him at all and just serves as a mentor figure sometimes? These timelines are rough jashdgshdghg )

( Do I have to ax Sagepool because I totally don’t want to? Can I just fuck my own timeline & be like wow look at Poppysky and Sagepool having a very happy inter-Clan lesbian relationship shut your mouth )

Maya visits her sister a whole bunch. I may dial up the political intrigue approximately 100x by not having a Redd White murder and instead having Morgan realize Sagepool is getting Close As Shit to figuring out the Truth and sets up machinations to have her killed and it be pinned on Maya. Ashfeather is distraught, Maya is distraught, WindClan’s relationship with the Kurain tribe is growing tense ( if it blows into a full battle, WindClan could win but they’re terrified of ThunderClan swooping in again if they’re weakened ). Ashfeather steps in to investigate and ensure Maya is found innocent. Probably the murder was set up to look like a random snake/fox/badger attack but with y’know hints that Maya actually staged it, but it’s revealed Maya wasn’t involved at all. Unfortunately the depth of the setup isn’t found out because there’s the second game to do lmao.

Quailclaw and Ashfeather like... see each other on border patrols and at Gatherings and Quailclaw is a Huge Asshole and Ashfeather is like ‘:('

As my Turnabout Goodbyes equivalent is Stormthroat doing a coup but Bad, Ashfeather isn’t... super involved with the process. Maybe when RiverClan goes through disaster with Lightningstar and Poppysky, ThunderClan and WindClan both send groups to “help with the stabilization”. Ashfeather is certain things are going better with Quailclaw because working together is doing well for helping RiverClan not collapse from ousting both their leader & deputy, but Quailclaw is considering going rogue and taking a long swim in a turbulent, rocky river the whole time.
