Have you drawn Dovewing and Ivypool yet 👉👈
now i have! the sisters ever…
dovewing is inspired by a mourning dove + she has a wing shaped marking passed down from whitewing! ivypool looks more like her dad and even though dove and ivy have the same colors they look a lot diff! wanted them to look similar but also like they’re from different worlds (literally and figuratively) anyways yeah. shapes!

Mapleshade!!
I really love the idea of dark forest cats getting kinda physically warped based on how they are remembered. I tried to give her a bit of a sludgy swamp monster look but idk if its there.
Really happy with how the water came out in this :]

How sweet it is that when a kit dies too suddenly before their time, they are shown in Starclan as who they were supposed to become. It is kind of Starclan to do that, for the lost little souls to chose to appear as the cat they would have grown into. I do wonder though, do they have false memories? It must be odd, being able to appear as a noble, battle-scarred leader with no clue how it would have happened. Unknowing about your life other than you must have done something right. A story you nor anyone else will ever know.
Thank goodness we don't have any Dark Forest cats like that. Odd scars they can't explain, no memory of life other than an idea that they must have done something wrong.
After all, if they're in the Place of No Stars, they must deserve it... Right?
I mean, what if Tigerstar, the born evil cat, had died instead of his sisters. Surely Starclan would not condemn a young cat to an eternal hell simply because of what he could have done. He wouldn't know why he was there. He would only believe he deserved to be there because... well, why else would he be there. He must have done some bad things when he was alive. Things that earned his place there.
After all...
It's not like they tried to convince his father to do it for them.
