The first thing you register is warm sunlight against your pelt. You scrunch your nose against the sweet smell of the meadow, and you open your eyes. The grass underneath you is vibrant (too vibrant, why is it so green?) and the air is crisp when you suck in a breath. Distantly, you think you can hear water running, cascading over smooth rocks. The sun shines bright, brighter than it ever has in any memory you can conjure up — But when you reach into your mind to tell, you can't. You can't remember. You can't remember. All you know is that you are here, and you are breathing, and you are alive — For now. Something foreboding plays at the edge of your senses, almost as if it's second nature. You think your neck stings. All you know is that you must survive.

Survivalbound is an 18+ sci-fi fantasy set-end campaign with D&D elements. After awakening in a meadow too good to be true, with only the recollection of your name and three memories - It's up to you to use the tools given to you - An element, a weapon, the bonds of the people around you - to survive. Because there's something out there. You feel it.

The static rises.

Thinking about the warrior cat/cult of the lamb inspired rp group (probably small, might do a beta and then open it up for people I'm chill with).

As I'm typing this it's getting long for mobile so I'll explain under the cut

You have the main colony, the players are apart of this colony and will be able to have 2 or 3 (haven't decided yet) character slots. It is required to at least have one fully trained colony member.

The premise-ish is that long ago, there were 5 deities instead of 1. These being an Elk, a Hawk, a Turtle, a Rat, and a Fox.

Taking from tCotL these each represent the aspects of See no Evil (hawk), Hear no Evil (turtle), Speak no Evil (rat), Think no Evil (elk), and Do no Evil (fox).

They have other things they represent, attributes they can bestow to mortals.

The important thing about these creatures is that the Fox managed to trick most of the advanced creatures that it was the most powerful and true deity as it watched over the afterlife and guided souls. And they listened.

So, the other deities were nearly forgotten aside from a small portion of their old cults. They are now corrupted and horrible beasts.

Anyways

The players can have 1 character born with a blessing. Other blessings may be received in time.

As for how it's run, I was thinking it's almost like a text adventure? Like, have major NPCs with a schedule that players can seek out to interact with, and minor NPCs can just be asked for. Or they can explore and roll a die to see what they encounter!!!

Basically, I was thinking of doing it on a weekly timeline. I drop the schedules, and players pick what they want to do for that in-game week. But they all will also have responsibilities to keep in mind! Which means they each have their own schedules to work around!

Either way, at the end of an RP, you roll (with additional negatives or positives depending on the interaction) to determine the overall experience! (I.e. even if the rp went badly, if you roll well, the other feline will think you just had a bad day)

I'll probably make it so that players can opt out of RP, which then they roll flat, no additions.

Before I talk too much and overly spoil more than I have lore wise, I will vanish.

Whiskerward is a still heavily work-in-progress cat colony builder RP where you make cats, trade them, and form and manage your own 'quarters'! The group is set in a fictional southern Irish inlet and has unique lore, low fantasy elements, and implements (mostly) real cat genetics to hopefully create something akin to a blend between species ARGs and traditional warrior cat RPs.

As You Wish RP Will Open for Apps February 1st 2023!

As You Wish will be a somewhat short RP campaign in which feline characters have had a single wish granted by a mysterious entity. A wish, the entity specifies, they swear they would do anything for. Now it is time for this entity to collect on these debts, in sending its debtors into a strange dimension to follow vague instructions. There’s little sense in questioning the task, however, when the penalty for noncompliance is losing the wish that they so desperately wanted.

A New Era (Warriors RP Server) Advertisement! Applications OPEN!

"Moons ago, five clans were formed from a group that came down from the mountains. These cats settled at the lake territories. Tensions were high, and many fights broke out. Finally, tired of the bloodshed, the deceased spirits came down. They told the cats to form five clans. The cats split up into the clans of today: ThunderClan, WindClan, RiverClan, ShadowClan, and SkyClan. There was a relative peace for a long time. Eventually, however, the clans had to move territories. They settled in a forest, far from the lake they once called home. Over time, tensions rose higher. SkyClan was kicked out of the forest, and nearly disappeared forever. A ginger tabby, Firestar, brought them back together. They did not wish to rejoin the other Clans, however.

During this time, twolegs were encroaching on the forest. They were tearing down trees and destroying the water. The Clans had to move. Guided by four warriors and two apprentices, they returned to the Lake territory that their ancestors once called home. SkyClan eventually sought out and rejoined the other Clans. The five clans faced many trials and tribulations, and faced many enemies. They always came out stronger than before, and even amended their warrior code.

Now, many generations later, the five Clans are still standing, still hunting, still fighting for the territory they have grown accustomed to. Times have been peaceful. However… peace can't last forever. In the past two moons, some deceased spirits have been unable to pass on to either StarClan or the Dark Forest, and have been roaming the lake territories, lost. There's no explanation yet for why this is happening, but the Dark Forest's lost spirits have been proving to be quite bothersome. It appears as if there's something blocking spirits from passing on to either afterlife. The spirits that should have passed on to the Dark Forest are trying to make life hard for the clan cats, and many have ended up dead. StarClan's lost spirits are doing their best to stop them, but they need help from the Clan cats to figure out how to unblock the afterlives. Medicine Cats can't communicate with StarClan due to this blockage either. A rogue group called "The Disciples" have formed as well, corrupted by the dark forest spirits into harming the clans, and are growing rapidly. If these spirits can't pass on, the rogue group may grow big enough to overpower at least one Clan, and then the others will fall."

We are in need of high ranks, warriors, and apprentices. We also need people to submit characters for The Disciples rogue group, and we need at least 2 wandering Dark Forest spirits. We have in-server currency, a server store for extra things for your OC, and self-assignable roles! We also need more mods and admins, and there will be a set of questions i will ask to anyone interested in being staff. This server is 13+, so NO NSFW ROLEPLAYS. we have a channel for members that are 18 and older, but if you have the role and are found to be underage, you WILL be banned. We have a channel to list your triggers so we know what to avoid in conversation, but the plot of the rp and future storylines may have darker events. Recently, my sister and I found a kickstarter for a new online pet sim. If you don’t know what that means, think Flight Rising mixed with Neopets. This sim is called Paw Borough. It’s fully funded currently but their stretch goals are amazing and will be assets if they can be made.

Now,  Paw Borough is a cat-based pet sim. It’s going to have beautiful patterns, quests, events, activities, trading, breeding, forums. The works! A roleplay system will be immediately integrated with easy access for you to switch icons every post so that you can use any one of your cats as an RP muse.

This site is going to be a fuckin’ paradise for anyone who was/is a Warriors fan. If you are a Warriors fan, please, please go help back this site! It’s going to be amazing. If you back the kickstarter, you’ll get a limited edition cat species that is sooo pretty! Go give it a look. ^^

Whiskerward's design and genetics doc is being worked on, and in the interest of clearly defining what is and isn't allowed in the group, I am looking for cat characters to reference! Send me any warrior cat (or other cat) characters you've got if you're so inclined, and I'll attempt to phenotype them for you (and they'll be shown off on this blog as a bonus!) Please keep in mind, any reviewing that occurs will be purely from the perspective of what is or is not allowed in Whiskerward, intended to be neutral in tone, and does not reflect how I feel about you or your character.
