For those who dont know, news broke today that Sagutoyas, a very spopular Warrior Cats animator, was grooming a 17 year old while she herself was 21. While this was happening, there were several adults in the community who knew of their interactions and said nothing. They have yet to be named by request of the victim.

While this news is shocking to hear, please keep the focus on the victim and not your own feelings. You may have "lost a good animator," but a 17 year old lost their sense of safety. Please be respectful in conversation around this topic.

So, as an adult within the Warriors community who has experience being groomed and taken advantage of by someone I trusted, I wanted to step up and talk about the Sagutoyas situation.

My platform isn’t exactly big or important, but it’s important to come forward with it regardless.

The Warriors community, while generally geared towards younger folk, is composed of viewers of all ages, backgrounds, interests and viewpoints. But as the content is intended for a more preteen demographic, it is paramount to remember: minors are everywhere here. And it is absolutely disgusting for someone to utilize their fame and platform in order to harm others, especially children, who usually don’t understand what’s happening until it’s far too late.

To every member of this community, though mostly to the younger demographic that follows me, please. Be cautious.

I understand the urge to be sociable and share your passion with others, but remember that for the most part, many of us are strangers with one another. Be careful about who you interact with, and how they interact with you in turn. Try to stay public when conversing with someone; try not to isolate yourself. Never disclose any personal information about yourself, whether that be your name, location, age, etc; it could be used to harm, find, or manipulate you. Never put your full trust in someone you do not know and maintain a safe distance from strangers on the internet, especially if you are a minor and they are an adult. And if anyone makes you uncomfortable, uneasy, or even just gives you a bad gut feeling at any point? Do not engage with them. The hurt feelings of a potential predator are not worth your trust being shattered for possibly the rest of your life.

Always. Prioritize. Your own. Safety.

You do not owe anyone anything. Ever. No matter their skill level, no matter their ideas on your favorite content, no matter how much you look up to them.

This goes for myself as well! I am an adult with a large following mostly of minors; I have made this space, cultivated it as my own, and thus I am responsible for it. Please know that those of my community are ALWAYS safe with me, no matter your age, and if you feel unsafe, I beg you to talk to someone you trust. If you feel unsafe within my community, there is no pressure to stay, and if it persists, or if someone specifically is harassing you under my name, tell me about it immediately. I will deal with it.

Adult fans should be held to a pointed standard. Red flags should always be pointed out and alerted to others. Discussions should be held. The more people are held accountable, the more likely their victims will feel comfortable enough speaking up.

Predators are pests and are to be eradicated immediately. I have no patience dealing with the likes of them. The safety and happiness of those I am responsible for, as a “senior” member of a community, is my first priority.

Warriors should be for everyone. We as a community have failed that and it needs to change. We can’t prevent every single instance, but we can still step up to help those who are vulnerable.

Something must be done.

Predators are not welcome here.

my thoughts on the Sagutoyas situation

realizing that i still have somewhat of a platform with this blog, i would like to address the recent allegations regarding Sagutoyas. as an adult myself, i cannot express the sheer amount of disgust and disappointment i have in this person. it is your sole responsibility, especially in a community that is consisted mostly of minors, to discourage and prevent these sorts of inappropriate interactions and relationships.

she knew that what she was doing was wrong. she knew she was crossing a boundary with her victims yet she continued doing it.

sagutoyas, you have failed this community both as a role model for your audience and as an adult in terms of respecting boundaries with minors. i sincerely hope your victims will be able to move on from this and that you lose your platform and place in this community.

to anyone who intends to deny this situation or its severity, especially those who are still minors, i truly do hope you realize that this behavior is unacceptable. i hope that you do not speak out of a place of your own relationship with someone who you trust. this is not okay. this is not healthy. this is exploitation of one's platform to get away with the most heinous actions. if an adult is showing you any nsfw content for any reason, that is grooming. there is no if and or buts about it. that is grooming and you need to get out of that "relationship". these people do not love you. all that it will get you in the end is hurt. please take care of yourself.

I meant to say something about this earlier but if you are upset regarding the accusations with sagutoyas, please do NOT post something along the lines of how they were "your favorite" or "another great animator has been lost/waste of talent."

I get that it's a knee jerk reaction. I understand you are trying to find a common ground to have a say in what is happening. I understand that you may be shocked or hurt. However, for anybody to post comments like that is downplaying the severity of what happened and drawing attention away from the victim to focus on the groomer themself. It doesn't matter how talented they were, they still committed a horrible thing and really, we shouldn't keep talking about them or centering it around ourselves when talking about it. On the internet, we have the choice to think before we post something.

If anything, please wish healing towards the victim and do not have the convo geared towards yourself.

With grooming and inappropriate interactions with minors being so common in the warriors fandom I think we all need to just accept how fucked our fandom is and just separate minors and adults in the community. No servers with kids and adults no MAP projects with kids and adults. I don't mean any interaction at all like reblogging art but just nothing where minors and adults are interacting directly with each other. We can't host these spaces where adults have such easy access to kids and normalize adults having close friend groups with kids. I know everyone wants the best for the warriors fandom but it's a fucking garbage fire. I just post and reblog cat art and even with just that I'm considering not doing because I don't want minors around me. Something has to change

I’m not sure how many have heard about the situation involving Sagutoyas, a well known animator in the WC MAP community, so far. But for those who don’t know, unfortunately there is a Twitter thread highlighting strong evidence that suggests Sagutoyas was involved in an online relationship with a minor. The relationship itself was not explicitly sexual, but was without a doubt a romantic one where they referred to each other as their “partner” The key information here is that Sagu was aware of the minor’s age, even acknowledging their concern about wider parties finding out about the relationship. Another key fact is that Sagu, again with the knowledge that this was a minor, sent them numerous NSFW artworks.

I am beyond disappointed to see this kind of behaviour from an artist I looked on with admiration, and I hope those affected by her actions are able to move on from this terrible period.

Edit: one kind person has linked the document in the comment section, thank you to them. Also, I apologise for not adding Trigger Warnings beforehand as the document clearly highlights pedophillia and features several of the explicit images Sally sent to the victim.

Leave Sagutoyas alone she did nothing wrong. That 17 year old was nearly a adult. He knew what he was doing was wrong. So what if she sent him some nsfw, he asked her to.

Almost an adult isn’t an adult.

The victim did nothing wrong, they were a minor and Sagutoyas had been grooming them since they turned 16 years old.

She repeatedly pressured the victim to not tell anyone of their relationship until they became of legal age.

She started sending and discussing nsfw to the victim from when they had just turned 16.

Even if the victim did “ask for it”, as an adult it was Sagutoyas’ responsibility to tell them no and not supply it.

Don’t try and pin this on the victim.

Sagutoyas is a child groomer. She is the one at fault here. It is never the victim’s fault.

About Various Unsubstantiated Accusations , CrunchyCrowe / CrunchyCaws PROOF / CONTEXT

Firstly, Posting this just so I have somewhere to link people who bring it up, and tumblr is a place that wont limit my response, and have people only reply to single out of context tweets. - which is what started this whole thing in the first place. This is about accusations that are at time of writing, years old, but still crop up in my day-to day, because the rumors keep ruminating and self-sustain in their own echo chambers as fact, without a DIRECT and VERY VISABLE response. Also, people who I have blocked on twitter, can see this if they choose to.

Originally, I considered one out of context tweet not worth making any kind of deal out of, and id just block people who took a very incorrect and disingenuous read of my words. But it spiraled into serious accusations of my character with little more than "Crunchy supports this thing and is a bad person" When there is not a single screenshot of me saying anything of the sort, because I did not, and I assumed that with people taking time to read, it would straighten itself out. I was wrong.

If someone won't take the time to read my side of the issue, then I would argue that they are not someone to trust with serious accusations, as they are someone who won't look at the source, and therefore, won't know enough about me or the situation, to hurl serious accusations.

I apricate that fandoms these days want everyone to be the best versions of themselves, and thrive for accountability.

It's annoying that the flip side of that coin is when people are wrong. A harmful / untrue rumor will stick to someone forever, and actively muddle the water for everyone: the people that did the accusing, the person accused, and any actual victims that need the support and to be believed.

Believe victims, reserve judgement for people saying things without clear proof because it's cool to be the call-outer.

I always have, and will apologize and admit when I'm wrong and correct myself, in every event that happens. I did so recently on a sketchbook I took too long to deliver, immediately corrected my actions, and hired a manager to make sure everything STAYED right going forward, and the same issue would not repeat itself. Earlier AND later in this post, I even admit I'm wrong, multiple times, over multiple things, openly. I will own up to my incorrect actions in every case it happens. Because It happens, people are wrong sometimes, and doubling down on being wrong is not a mature course of action. I find it frustrating that that's what I'm running into with my accusers, simply because they don't want to be wrong.

I have an ACTIVE track record of APOLOGIZING AND MAKING THINGS RIGHT.

If someone is out there claiming I'm actively causing any harm, or am a bad person in some way, ask for the evidence. ask to see victims stories, and support the people who need that support to be made whole.

EVERY "PROOF" of me supporting X, Y, or Z, is all circumstantial and bookended with the logical fallacy of applying emotional manipulation, and putting the burden of proof on me, which if you don't know what those are - APPEAL TO EMOTION and BURDEN OF PROOF <- Click them and learn! I am trying to refute everything I can, with as much evidence and context as possible, without appealing to anyone's emotions to the best of my ability.

People thought i was talking about a warriorcat event, when I haven't been active in the fandom for over 10 years. I got dragged in because someone else who followed me, who was STILL IN warriors, applied my words to something i had little to no context for and was not apart of. This original post where I was QRT'd (not by the later mentioned call-outer, who is the continuing problem, by someone I'm on fine terms with) in relation to the situation in the FIRST place- was deleted, because the original poster realized they had made a mistake in dragging me into something I had nothing to do with, apologized, and we are chill with each other.

This shouldn't be an issue.

Ironic at best, hypocritical at worst, coming from someone asking to be believed at their word, not believing my word. I took actions and made blocks that were fueled by frustration, that was wrong of me, and for that, I am truly sorry, I'm not just saying that. I made a post about the furry fandom as a whole, and behaviors i didn't agree with. The warrior cats community was having an active situation unfold, and they decided that my post must have been directly about their situation. It was not. When people started claiming my post was in fact about the warrior cats situation without proper evidence, I blocked them. This is the exact behavior i do not like. jumping onto people and situations without proper context and evidence to back up said claims. People took me blocking them for this behavior as admission of guilt. There was never a post anywhere in support of anyone, I was never involved and I did not interact with the situation outside of being dragged in against my will.

Oh wow. Okay, so CrunchyCrowe was vague tweeting about bad callouts and was really avoiding saying they supported Sagutoyas. But they refused to elaborate and it is just.. very obvious who they were defending. So I know I am barely ever on Tumblr anymore, but I don’t think I can keep my word out of this mess. I have recently heard of what Sally has done and quite honestly? It’s disgusting.

In case so you know, Sagutoyas/Sally is(or rather, was) an popular animator who is famously known for participating in MAPs and making Warriors content. Recently, Sally was called out for grooming and seemed to have made the victim keep silent about it when they were only 17, being close to turning 18. This victim is Glitch Sixxle, currently wanting to be called Sol. Not only has she been in an relationship with this specific person, but she has also sent NSFW to minors in an server filled with minors and she was the only adult. I won’t be speaking much more of the situation on its behalf, as you all should already know enough of its content already.

The fact that Sally did this to such young kids and to a friend. Or at least, I think they were friends, is such a disgusting factor. It drains me to lose another famous animator all because they are a creep in disguise. I watched this animator for years, so I’m majorly disappointed for her doing this. I don’t wish to speak much more of this, but I hope the victims are okay and they get through this.
