hello, I hope everyone is doing good. Here it is the new chapter! I'm so sorry it's been a long time since I posted an update. I just didn't felt it was good but yes, if i don't want to be on writing block anymore I need to post so here we are. I hope you will enjoy. Real life Pov:

"I can't believe they were there! How is that possible?! Which right do they have to come here to lecture me?

Riven has been pacing his room for over an hour. Since his parents appeared in the school cafeteria, the specialist can't help but wonder about their intentions. They had never been there for him, left him  alone in the hands of a teacher. Yet now they've come to 'bond'? Riven doesn't want to bond with his parents, and he kind of feels remorse for that. Is it normal not to want to forgive your own parents?

As Riven walks back and forth, making his bedroom floor creak, Musa watches him. She is sitting on the boy's bed and trying to find a solution to calm him down. He helped her so many times to control her powers so she would like to help him too.

The specialist runs a hand through his hair as he turns to his girlfriend, "Do you think it's immature of me to not wanting to forgive them? Do you think I should?"

Musa tries to catch his gaze, she uncrosses her arms which were crossed before and puts her hands on the bed, "Do you want to forgive them?" asks the fairy, tilting her head to the side as a questions mark.

"I actually don't know."

"In my opinion, not wanting to forgive them doesn't make you a bad person. I know that there is this principle in which you have to forgive in order to move forward, and I disagree. I don't blame people who forgive, but not wanting to do that doesn't make you weak;on the contrary," says Musa, looking at Riven in the eye, "But I think not forgiving is just as honorable. You know the people who have hurt you and if you don't want to forget, it's your choice. If you don't want bad people in your life, it's your choice."

Riven sits on the floor in front of Musa, he wraps his arms around her knees, "I just feel like...if they don't like me it's my fault."

The teenager always asked himself this question. Maybe if both of his parents are so hard on him, so machiavellian, it's probably because it's his fault. He may have done something he never should have done as a child. He knows that many fathers abandon their families, and Riven would have preferred that to being abandoned by both parents.

Hearing his words, Musa's face twists slightly. Her eyebrows furrow slightly in incomprehension.

"Riv, you were just a kid. No matter what you did, it's never the kid's fault. You were 8 years old, 8 years old Riven. You were practically a baby. Your parents treated you like an adult when they should never have. They said words to you that should never have been heard by a child. It's not your fault. In fact, the situation here is that you feel guilty for what happened to you. You tell yourself that if as children you would have been better, all this would not have happened. But Riven, you are wrong, bad people, are bad and will always be and if they hadn't hurt you then, they would have done it later. It's not your fault. You were a child, and they were the parents who had to behave like adults because, they were the adults. Not you." Musa looks him straight in the eyes, taking his hands in hers, "Here, the real question is not if you will forgive your parents, it is do you have forgiven yourself Riven?"

Musa's words tangle and creep to Riven's ears. His eyes start to sting, his nose wrinkles ans the corner of his mouth lifts in a spam and he knows he's going to cry. He nevertheless tries to keep his tears inside but like a dam from which the piece of wood has been removed, the water flows out. His eyes weep hot tears his girlfriend's reflex is to sit down in front of him and wrap her arms around him. Riven shelters his head in the fairy's neck, unable to turn off the taps of his tears. Musa doesn't tell him to calm down, she doesn't tell him it will get better, she just rubs his back, because she knows. She knows how, as a child, the specialist was deprived of his right to cry, to be sad. When she lets him do it, she finally gives him the opportunity to take back what is rightfully his, little by little, second by second, minute by minute, he ardently takes back his own identity that was taken from him so young.

After a few minutes as the two are lying on Riven's bed, Musa cuddling him close to her as he attaches himself to her like a lifeline, a knock on the door can be heard. Sky enters after a few seconds. Riven offers a weak smile as his best friend comes over to sit on the bed.

"Your parents are leaving, do you want to come and say goodbye to them?" asks the blonde, running his hand through his hair.

Riven took a few moments to think before replying, "No, I'd rather not. You know, I've always said that all I wanted as a child was their love. But in the end I don't need it, I already have you, and our little group, even Bloom and her annoying way of beheving is better."

Sky pretends to be offended, putting a hand over his mouth, "My girlfriend isn't annoying."

"Oh mate, Red is the annoyance personified"

As the three of them laugh, Musa feels something. Her eyes turn slightly purple as she feels two people walking in the hall, they will be there in no more than five minutes. She closes her eyes, trying to identify who the to strangers are. She feels like the first person as a really messy mind, not loud, but really messy, just like those girls in Sofia Copolla movies.Beatrix. The second one is like a quiet voice.Stella. Her friends has be trapped so long in that fake arrogant princess personna that only her mind still has this shy and quiet personnality she used to have. Beatrix opens the door, screaming a "We are doing a movie night with the girls, get ready!". Sky stands up, going with the girls as they close to door for the two lovers to get ready.

While their friends are gone, Musa and Riven are still not letting go of eachothers. He has his arm around her waist while she has a hand resting on his chest. With interest, he can't help but stare into her eyes. He could spend hours looking at her, she is a masterpiece for him.

"Come on, we gotta get ready for that movie night or Bloom's gonna complain about us being late," Musa said, giving Riven a light tap on his shoulder and smiling.

They both get up. While the boy is changing in the bathroom, the fairy explores his room with her eyes. She sees in the distance the ashtray she had given him. It makes his heart flutter knowing that he has kept this object.

After about ten minutes, Riven comes out of the bathroom. To his surprise, he is greeted by Musa's melodious, joyous laughter. She puts her hand on his chest to try to calm him down.

"What? What's funny Pixie?"

"Your...." she is interrupted with a chuckle, "Your t-shirt, I love it when you wear message t-shirts, they're always hilarious."

Riven smiles at her words as he puts his phone back in his pocket.

"I saw that you liked my t-shirts since you stubbornly steal them from me."

"Hey that's fake Riv, I'm not stealing them from you."

"Ah? So what are you wearing" asks the young man, pointing to the t-shirt that Musa is wearing.

"Our t-shirt!"

Riven burst out laughing, "Yeah sure, our shirt".

Fate the Winx Saga season two

I´m late to this since the show just got canceled but I still want to write some thoughts about this season.

Let me start by saying how better this season is as compared to the first one. It´s a shame it got canceled because the writers improved a lot.

Let´s begin.

The things I liked

I love that in this season the writers really gave more storyline and layers to the guys, specially Sam. He wasn´t a bad character but he was a bit boring. He was just Terra´s brother and Musa´s boyfriend so I really liked that they gave him more than that. You can really see his pain and frustration when Rosalind was mistreating his family and especially liked how affected he was after Musa kept taking away his anger. I praise Jacob Dudman because he really brought all the emotions through acting.

If you read my previous post, you know that I used to be a Riven girl and switched after seeing Sky in this version but after this season I feel like I´m back in Riven´s lane. In this season, we got to see a more emotional side of Riven, we got to see how much he cared about his friends despite his tough exterior, how much he liked Beatrix, and especially we found out that he didn´t want to be a specialist but he took it very seriously. I loved the scenes in the last episodes when he got mad at Musa for wanting to be a specialist and how ready he was to put his life on the line for the mission.

Now, this doesn´t mean that I didn´t like Sky. His character had a lot of great moments this season. His relationship with Andreas was handled very well, I really believed that they were a father and son that struggled to get along because they were opposed to each other, Andreas being a jerk and tough guy and Sky an empathic and lovable guy since Silva raised him. I also liked that he didn´t forgive Silva right away because he felt confused about who to believe. Also, thanks so much for more shirtless Sky this season. And the new uniforms.

I think the guys were a big highlight in general for this show. I´ve heard that the creator of the original is trying to make a new live-action movie and I hope he considers both Danny Griffin (Sky) and Freddie Thorp (Riven) because they did a great job with their characters.

Musa´s story was my absolute favorite this season. I really liked that they made her go through a lot of scenarios but they were all related to the same thing, she doesn´t like being a mind fairy. She starts to find ways to use her magic so she starts to take anger from Sam and her friends. Then when that backfires, she starts to get close to the specialists after Rosalind told her mind fairies can help them fight blood witches. I also found it very powerful the moment when she gave up her magic. After years of having to feel people´s emotions and feeling useless, it was very touching to see her happy in the middle of an attack.

I know her casting was very controversial since they basically whitewashed her character but Elisha Appelbaum did a great job with Musa.

I hate that this show is getting canceled right when we are finally getting Rivusa especially since they are doing such a great job with it. Instead of a toxic relationship, they started a friendship instead of romance because it lets everything grow organically.

One thing I didn´t understand the last season was Dane´s loyalty to Beatrix. I get that they were friends but I didn´t get why he chose to help her and stay by her side despite everything she did. Even Riven was doubting but in this season it makes sense. He wasn´t loyal to Beatrix, he stayed with her because that meant staying with Riven. The moment Riven broke up with her was also the moment he stopped hooking up with Dane. This made Dane realize he was with her because he liked Riven but not her.

It makes more sense since all we see in season one is Dane being attracted to Riven, not her.

I didn´t say the last post but I would say it here because I like the route they took with Silva, especially since he didn´t try to force a reconciliation between him and Sky. It was until the moment Sky found himself in Silva´s shoes and had to kill Andreas to save him.

Also, I don´t know if it´s just the daddy issues talking but Silva being all protective and understanding is just so hot.

I liked that they improved a little bit Stella´s character. Last season I didn´t understand why they tried to make it look like Stella was best friends with the rest of the girls because we saw nothing but her being mean to them. She couldn´t stand any of them and suddenly when her mom took her away she wanted to say goodbye to her friends. What? What friends? She hated them. At least in this season, we saw her hanging out with them and having nice times with them.

Also, her friendship with Beatrix made a lot of sense. They were both two mean girls trying to change. And liked that Stella was her only real friend and cared for her.

I can express to you how much I liked Sebastian as a villain. It just makes sense.

In the beginning, I liked him because he was a nerdy and nice guy. I was completely on team Sebastian. Even after his reveal as the main villain, I was on his side because he made a lot of sense. He wasn't the one that started the war, it was his dad and Rosalind but he wanted revenge for the pain they caused.

It´s also amazing the fact that he got his revenge on Andreas and Rosalind. They were bullies and deserved what they got.

I don´t like that we didn´t get to see more of her but I like that we finally got to see Flora. But I´m not so happy with her relationship with Terra.

What I didn´t like

Man, how bad were the other villains in this show.

Andreas was a very confusing character. On one side, it is established that he was a cold-hearted bastard that only cared about his mission. He didn´t care to be a dad, he just wanted to be a soldier. On the other side, we are told that he cares a lot about Beatrix and loves her as a daughter but it makes no sense.

For most of this show, we see him not giving a damn about anyone that´s not Rosalind. He doesn´t even try to get close to Sky until a couple days before his death.

Ken Dunken tho. That´s all I have to say.

Rosalind, it´s another villain that I didn´t get. Are we supposed to hate her or not? She was a bitch and I didn´t care for her.

That´s it, that´s my whole take on Rosalind.

Beatrix is weirdly consistent but inconsistent at the same time. She´s a mean girl that only cares about herself. That´s why she ended up alone.

She got mad at Rosalind because she was promised a powerful position for helping her but ended up being her assistant. That makes sense.

But then they tried to tell us that she cared a lot for Andreas too and that´s when I get lost. We don´t see many moments of her being this loving daughter. She only remembers Andreas when he´s in front of her. I believe more that she hates Rosalind for treating her like crap and not for being mean to Andreas.

If I could say one thing good is that Beatrix´s actress Sadie Soverall did a great job in this character.

I also had a lot of issues with Terra. I don't understand why they had to make her so mean to Flora. I think it was supposed to be out of jealousy because Flora was getting a lot of attention but they never touched on that, they just made it about Riven.

And I also have an issue with the fact that they made her lesbian. Now, don´t get me wrong, I like that they are trying to incorporate LGBTQ+ characters but the way they introduced her sexuality doesn´t make sense.

In season one they show us a very different scenario than what Terra explains in season two. In the first season, we see that Terra is genuinely interested in Dane, she even asks Musa if she can feel something between her and Dane.

She also looks mad at Riven for choosing Beatrix instead of her. In fact, she seems to be very upset with the fact that Riven chose the conventionally pretty and skinny girl. She cares way too much about Riven and Dane´s attention.

I feel like the writers saw the backlash against Terra and decided to give her something to be liked but I don´t think this is it. It wasn´t organic, it felt forced.

Again, in season one is very clear that Terra wanted to be with Riven and Dane. That´s why she didn´t like Beatrix from the beginning.

Now, let´s get to the really bad part. Bloom.

Bloom got on my nerves a lot this season. She just got dumb and annoying.

She couldn´t solve anything on her own, she had to have other characters telling her what to think.

In the beginning, she didn´t trust Rosalind which was good because she was hiding a lot from her. But then Rosalind just told her to trust her and Bloom did it blindly.

Just take the first season. Bloom knew she shouldn´t trust Beatrix but she also knew that she was the only person that could give her the answers so she called her friends as support. That makes sense.

In this season, she just does stupid things by herself and needs a lot more help but doesn´t ask for it. And unfortunately, this is where I have to say that a lot of these issues are on Abigail Cowen´s acting.

I´ve heard that she was pretty good on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina but in here she was a miss. In season one there was no problem because she was supposed to be the sweet and naive girl that´s finding out about the magic world but in this season she has a lot more development and Abigail is not good at delivering.

Now, the writers didn´t help her much with her storylines but she definitely could do better.

She was supposed to be a confident and smart girl but her acting made Bloom conceited and dumb.

And I know this because everyone around acted like she was supposed to be that way.

Like when the girls try to help her fight Sebastian and his army but she tells them not to go because it´s dangerous and only she could beat him because she had the dragon flame. It was supposed to sound like her trying to protect her friends but instead, it sounded so conceited like they were useless. But people still acted like she was a good friend.

She´s also bland with the relationship between Sky and Bloom. Sometimes she does act like she cares and loves him but other times she just feels like a friend and not in a good way. It looks like she just doesn´t care enough about him when he´s crazy about her and then again I do blame part of this on Abigail because in the story their romance it´s painted as a good relationship with both caring a lot for each other. And this is crazy since it looks like they have a relationship in real life.

I feel bad for criticizing her this much but I really think her performance affects the show. We are not supposed to hate the hero in the story yet I saw many complaints about Bloom.

Again, I feel terrible about the show being canceled because they were starting to tell some good storylines. As a matter of fact, they did so much better in this new season. They started to create better storylines for other characters, not only Bloom.

I really wanted to see how they would end things.

I also feel bad that we didn´t get to see more characters being introduced like Tecna or Brandon.
