The Making of Illumi Scents

I am Sarah, the founder of Illumi Scents, and this is my story.

Illumi Scents began when I, who has always been passionate about creating a relaxing and cozy atmosphere in my home. I tried many different methods, but nothing seemed to work quite as well as scented candles. However, I found that many of the candles I purchased were either too overpowering or didn't last very long.

Determined to find a solution, I began experimenting with different fragrances and ingredients to create my own scented candles. I spent countless hours researching and testing, trying to find the perfect balance between fragrance strength and burn time.

Finally, after many months of hard work, I had created three unique scents that I was proud of - one for relaxing, one for romance, and one for energizing. I named my brand Illumi Scents and launched it in 2015 with the aim of providing high-quality, long-lasting candles to customers who wanted to create a cozy and inviting atmosphere in their own homes.

As the business grew, I continued to innovate and experiment with new scents and designs. I collaborated with small businesses to create limited edition candles and gift sets, and even began offering custom scents for special occasions like weddings and birthdays.

Today, Illumiscents is a well-established brand with a loyal customer base. I remain committed to creating high-quality candles that not only smell great but also add to the ambiance of any room. I continue to innovate and create new scents, always striving to provide my customers with the best possible experience.

Pine, oakmoss, musk, soap 🎄

It definitely smells like the era (70's) and I like it.

Reminds me of gas guzzling muscle cars, mustaches, and hairy chests.

Very strong juice on my skin and feels like fair enough quality from Paco Rabanne. Yes it's synthetic oakmoss and musk, but not in a bad way. I have some frags from niche houses that are 100% aroma chemicals that smell awesome.

I could see myself using this here and there in the right situations. This gets a like from me and has grown on me 👍

Rose Malaki by Chopard (2014). ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ✍︎ I acquired this beauty sometime back as part of my growing @chopard Malaki collection but I'm just getting around to finally sharing my thoughts on it. ◎ Chopard released Oud Malaki (created by Dominique Ropion) successfully in 2012 and then followed up with this beauty created by Amandine Clerc-Marie in 2014. The Malaki line also includes Amber Malaki (review coming soon) and Black Incense Malaki (shared a review on this sometime back). ◎ Rose Malaki as its name suggest is focused around the sensuous damask rose note but supported by woody (cedar) and spicy (saffron) notes. It opens with a smooth and spicy saffron note which i truly adore before moving to a slightly sweet and not overly jammy rose heart. The use of atlas cedar wood in the base adds depth to this already beautiful composition giving it a warm and smoky woody finish. ✂︎---------- ☝︎ Saffron ♡︎ Damask Rose ☟︎︎︎ Atlas Cedar Wood ✂︎---------- ◎ As a lover of rose fragrances I can honestly say this is yet another winner.
