Headcanon for movieverse: Tails has little adorable footed onesie PJs for comfort, when the weather gets cold, and because he likes them.

He also wears them during thunderstorms and can be found in Roxie's crib or in the same room in a parent's arms, being comforted and/or depending on severity of the storm, rocked to sleep alongside her. It's pretty effective.

Hmmm I was thinking and while I know it’s not happening:

Sonic Movie 3 AU where Shadow the Hedgehog befriends this Blue Hedgehog but doesn’t trust him to follow him into town or to meet anyone else so he ends up living in a certain cave where he is visited by constantly by Sonic, who helps him with food and getting to know pop culture and by not mentioning his existence to a single soul while he’s not ready.

After some time, they are now friends, Sonic mentions the name Wachowski as being his parents and Shadow just freezes and with a false calm starts asking more about the other’s parents and recognizes that there is a big chance Sonic’s dad was the son of the man who murdered Maria.

His reaction can be:

Feeling betrayed and starting to fight Sonic, his desire for revenge surpassing his friendship and the perceived betrayal making him hate the other.

Ooooooor

Shadow assumes the other hedgehog is being manipulated and the affection towards the blue hedgehog (and his brothers) is false and they are going to be used by the government as weapons by using their loyalty towards these humans. So logically, he has to get rid of these humans before this happens and get Sonic (And the other two though they really are just extras in Shadow’s mind) to somewhere safe even if it means to cut him off from his beloved hometown. Like, you know. The ARK.

No one has a good time regardless.

Something that struck me.

I was watching Sonic 2 recently with that revelation from Kunckles that the echidnas had been after the Master Emerald, not Sonic. On the one hand, it does make sense. The movie establishes that owls and echidnas really don't get along with each, Longclaw knew where the Master Emerald was, and the fact that Sonic heard from Longclaw that people would hunt him down for his powers didn't mean that the echidnas also were.

And yet, there was clearly that one echidna with the sonic-sized net...Could be just part of the visual deception to make the first time viewer think like Sonic did. Could also mean that this last tribe of echidnas weren't above the idea of using Sonic as leverage to get to Longclaw, or even to use his power for their own ends whether or not they had the Master Emerald. Either of those would mean real danger for Sonic that Longclaw would sacrifice herself to protect him from, taking them all down with her so they didn't even try to pursue him.

If any of that's the case, it gives another reason for Knuckles's father to not have wanted him to join the attack that time. The tribe likely felt desperate, especially since they brought everyone else to this particular fight. And so, pragmatism may have won out over honor. His father didn't want Knuckles to see that side of things first hand, especially if they did get Sonic, only slightly younger than Kunckles himself. Knuckles still idealized the tribe and their lifestyle, his father wouldn't want him to get disillusioned like that. So he had Knuckles stay behind, managing to save Knuckles, but leaving him the last of the echidnas, still certain of his tribe having been honorable warriors to their deaths.

What happens if he and Sonic finally compare notes?
