Summary:

Noah had his suspicions about the Hale fire.  With Laura Hale dead and animal attacks increasing exponentially, he knows that Derek is not the problem but possibly an answer to the question of what is going on in Beacon Hills.

So I stalk you on AO3 and I found this promt and my first thought was "Thats def gonna be Sherriff Stillinski" and I love you and you are awesome and you were the first person I thought of when I read it. 1/2

2/2 "A man enters a police station drenched in blood with a shotgun in his hands. He's angry. He walks past the front desk and the receptionist merely glances at him. He continues through the police station, stalking past dozens of police officers, who either walk past him or remain at their desks."

(Oh, indents don't exist on Tumblr anymore, okay wow, things have changed since I was last here pfft).

Okay but dude, wtaf that prompt is absolute fire and 100% Sheriff Stilinski after dealing with some bullshit of the week type of situation he was unceremoniously pulled into (thank you Stiles and your dumb Werewolf boyfriend and best friend, get new friends who are not Supernaturals please).

I've never written anything from someone else's POV in the series before, just Stiles and Derek, and given my current vision issues I am absolutely not promising anything, but that is a bomb ass prompt. Do you remember where it came from? (Just in case I do write it, I want to credit appropriately).

I don't usually do requests or suggestions or anything, but this one is definitely tickling my fancy and it'd be cool to write from the Sheriff's POV for once XD Thank you for thinking of me <3<3<3<3

A Werewolf In Rosewood - Pretty Little Liars x Werewolf!Reader x Teen Wolf

You groaned as you checked your phone causing Derek to give you a confused look. Your cousin Stiles had spammed your phone with many messages.

“I swear he’s jealous you wouldn’t let him come on this investigation.” You replied causing Cora to roll her eyes as she looked at you in the wing mirror. “I still think he has a crush on you to be honest.” You quietly admitted causing Derek to glare and Cora to smirk. 

“Do you think we’ll be safe here?” Cora questioned as Derek pulled up in the driveway. “I mean, we’re only staying until Y/n graduates since the Sheriff wants you away from Beacon Hills but thinks you’ll be safe with us?” Derek replied.

“God we’ve literally just got out the car and people are eyeing us like we’ve got the plague.” You grumbled, grabbing your suitcases from the boot before pausing as 5 girls stared at you, two blonde, one tall brunette, one short brunette and another brunette with a height in-between.

POV Change

“Now who are they? New neighbours?” Spencer questioned.

“I don’t know…but I’ll find out.” Alison replied, moodily causing the other four girls to exchange looks. “That girl there looks our age… we might see her at school, you can hold off until then right Ali?” Emily asked, nervously.

Alison glanced at her before signing. “Sure Em.” she replied, almost sounding angry before Aria spoke. “How about we go back to mine and order some pizza, watch a couple of movies…” 

“Gossip about the hot new neighbour?” Hanna questioned causing everyone to look at her. “What? Its what everyone was thinking!” Hanna exclaimed before all 5 of their phones rang. 

They quickly got them from their bags/pockets, looking at their messages.

New neighbours in town surrounded in mystery, too bad we’re going to make their secrets history, starting with the new student, kisses -A

“Oh great… A wants to raise hell for the new neighbours…” Emily grumbled but Alison just smirked.

—Time Skip—

You sighed as your feet trailed the cold hallways of Rosewood High School. Your eyes flickered gold as you sensed 5 pairs of footsteps approaching. You turned around quickly as the 5 girls from last night stood in front of you.

“Oh god its Beacon Hills all over again.” You muttered causing Spencer to raise an eyebrow.

“I’m Spencer Hastings, this is Hanna Marin, Aria Montgomery, Emily Fields and-” 

“Alison Dilaurentis, and you are?” Alison questioned. You wanted to gag at the alpha female persona she was trying to emit but failing, obviously someone had stole her crown.

“Y/n Stillinski… I’m from Beacon Hills.” You explained, tensing as you sensed incoming heartbeats. You growled quietly in annoyance as you realised. Hormonal boys. Gag.

Your heartbeat began to rise as flashbacks entered your mind. Emily frowned as she noticed how anxious you were. “Hey are you-” but you had already darted into the girls toilets. 

Slamming the cubicle door closed, you sat on the floor muttering to yourself. “What three things cannot be long hidden…” as Hanna, Emily, Aria and Spencer ran in. Alison had decided to wait outside.

“Y/n are you okay?” Aria questioned, giving Hanna a look before you spoke. “The sun, the moon, the truth…the sun…the moon.. the truth…” causing all four of them to exchanged confused looks before pushing the door open. You stared at them in horror as they saw your eyes change from a golden yellow to normal before you ran through them out of the room and to your first class. Alison frowned as she entered.

“What was all that about?” She questioned before their phones went off.

How interesting? A Werewolf in Rosewood… too bad this isn’t London, in Rosewood, secrets don’t last long and wolves get shot -A

“Oh god…” Hanna exclaimed. Aria nodded in agreement whilst Emily and Alison stared in horror. “We have to help her.” Spencer replied causing the other four to nod. They weren’t going to let you get shot.

Noah had always had his suspicions.  

It’d been a bit too convenient and neat of an explanation for the Hale fire. He’d  instinctively disliked the fire inspector on first sight which was also unusual. The man had been a bit too smiley and had an explanation for everything.  How the fire had spread.  Where it’d started. The building code violations that had allowed it to get out of control so quickly despite Mark Hale having been an architectural engineer and personally remodeled most of the place when he’d married Talia. 

The story about faulty wiring being the source had just not sat right with him.  What was the likelihood that the entire family would have not realized their house was burning down until it was too late?  That no one survived in the fire except one that was going to spend the rest of his life in a coma in a burn ward?

Yeah something about the whole situation had stunk to high heaven but he’d been powerless to do much about it when Laura Hale—barely eighteen and ready to fight the world—had insisted on settling everything and taking off with her only remaining sibling in tow.  They’d been in the wind within days and Noah couldn’t’ blame her for following her instincts to hide. 

Turns out it’d been the right thing to do because she’d only been back in Beacon Hills for a night or two before being murdered and cut in two.

trying to put a dent into Suspicions today.

Title: Suspicions, A Firefighter Derek AU story.

Fandom: Teen Wolf

Pairing: Eventual Sterek for the series. Assume other canon pairings will make an appearance.

Tags/warnings: first draft. POV Noah Stillinski. Firefighter!Derek AU. And look—I’ve even made some cover art for the fic.

Stiles just had to put himself in the thick of it.  

His son couldn’t help himself.  

Like his mother, he put up a good fight.  His son was loyal to his friends but puberty had caused some changes in his childhood relationships and Noah wondered how long it would take Stiles to figure things out. 

Lydia Martin was a certain type.  Unobtainable, brilliant in her own way, and beautiful. 

So was Derek Hale. 

Both of them needed someone to lean on and his son… well his son was a sucker for wounded, beautiful things. 

Noah should probably be happy he wasn’t facing having Jackson Whitmore for an eventual son-in-law.  He couldn’t stand David Whittemore when he was trying to find every possible legal loophole and Sandy, Jackson’s mom, was a superficial trophy wife on the best of days.

Snippet Sunday

Title: Suspicions, part of the Firefigher!Derek AU series of one-shots

Fandom: Teen Wolf but borrows a few people from 911 Lonestar

Pairing: the series will eventually be Sterek. No overt relationship this part other than Noah Stillinski instantly pegging Derek as his son’s type.

Fic summary:

Noah had his suspicions about the Hale fire.  With Laura Hale dead and animal attacks increasing exponentially, he knows that Derek is not the problem but possibly an answer to the question of what is going on in Beacon Hills. 

Tags/warnings: Hale fire aftermath, Laura dies off screen right before the start of this fic. Traumatized Derek Hale (isn't he always?), first draft. Noah Stillinski POV. Timeline what timeline applies here in spades. Angsty. Derek’s feelings of needing to atone and feeling responsible. Stiles is a menace. Scott is an in-love idiot.

“What do you want, Sheriff?” Derek asks, getting right to the point and exuding anxiety. 

Noah feels old.  He hates giving bad news.  “Your sister Laura was found two days ago.”  Derek flinches and Noah almost stops but he needs for Derek to hear this from him officially. “She’s dead.”

The pained whine that escapes Dereks’ throat reminds him of a wounded animal and he hunches in on himself, eyes closed and expression pained.  Derek’s shoulders shake with suppressed sobs and he again flinches when Noah tries to touch his shoulder so he lets his hand fall uselessly back to the table. 

Thirty seconds later, Derek straightens just a bit and opens his eyes.  The devastating loss in them convinces Noah that Derek would do anything for his sister and did not kill her.  He knows something but won’t tell Noah. 

Or at least, won’t tell Noah yet because he doesn’t trust him and that’s breaking Noah’s heart.  Derek’s had a lot of tragedy in his life but someone did something to make him not trust people.  How recent Noah doesn’t know but he suspects that it happened either right before the fire or immediately after. 

Derek’s eyes are red rimmed, his skin pale and washed out.  There’s a few days worth of stubble along his jaw and he looks like he’s been through the wringer before being informed of Laura’s death.  Noah just has confirmed what Derek already knew—either that or something bad had happened at home that Derek wasn’t telling him.

“How did you find her?” The words are soft but Derek doesn’t flinch this time, even if the words are bitten off at the end like he can hardly say them.  He’s braver than Noah would be in his situation. 

There’s no gentle way to tell Derek how they found his sister.  “She was torn in half.  We’re still looking for the other half and I’ll need you to officially identify her with the coroner.”

“Do you have any leads?”  Derek’s beginning to look numb, his fingers loose around the cup of coffee in front of him and the muffin untouched.  Noah worries that he won’t eat, that the loss of his sister will be too much. 

“We’re still investigating,” Noah deflects.

“So that’s a no.”  Derek’s tone isn’t sharp but it still feels like a dagger digging in deep.  Noah hates to not have answers for the families of crime victims. 

“It’s a not yet,” Noah corrects out of habit.  “Can you tell me why Laura came back?”

Derek shrugs.  “She said that she got called by the hospital.  That she needed to check on Uncle Peter.”

“Did she say why?”  Noah is unaware of any change in Peter Hale’s condition.  Melissa would have mentioned it in their regular chats given she knew that it was Laura Hale that had been found in the woods. Noah has been depending on her to keep half an eye on Stiles when he’s with Scott for the last week. 

“No… and I didn’t ask,” Derek answers his follow up question before he can ask it. 

Noah doesn’t have more questions because he doesn’t know what to ask yet.  “Had she said how long she was going to be in Beacon Hills?”

“Just a few days.  She has finals tomorrow… had finals tomorrow.” Derek’s face falls as he corrects himself to past tense.  The pain ages him but Noah is still fighting his instincts that scream at him to comfort Derek as he’s a secondary victim to this crime and possibly others. The amount of damage and death done to the Hale family would make anyone break down and the kid—young man, he corrects himself—is holding up better than most. 

Then again, Noah supposes Derek has experience in terrible loses. 

“What was she studying?”

“Pre-med. Laura wasn’t sure if she wanted to be a doctor or a nurse but she was getting her general credits done.”

A healer.  Laura had been studying to be a healer.  Noah felt like that little bit of information somehow just made her death even worse.
