Note
I can't help saying something. Each translator has his own view and understanding of comics. Even for the same cartoon, the feeling and style of translation are very different. There is no fixed template for translation, which depends on their own understanding and polishing.
I can't help saying this, but if you actually read through what I pointed out you'll notice that Trufflenyan's translations aren't changed from what Shikimi Bibi's works are saying because of "feeling" and "style."
The mistranslations I pointed out are completely changing the meaning of the original Japanese, sometimes causing it to be the exact opposite of what was being said. I didn't nitpick at every translation in the entire manga because I know that while a lot of Trufflenyan's translations are different than mine personally, they are still faithful to the original work and the original work is what matters most.
I don't care about small nuances, English speaking differences, and things like making up for untranslatable words, but translations that are very different from the original that will change the reader's perception as to what the character is saying is both rude and offensive to the author of the work as well as the readers that are being fooled by inaccurate translations.
I also pointed out that I liked that they kept "bite you to death" and "yobai" the same and translated it literally instead of doing what I did and changing it to make it more like conversational English because such phrases don't exist or sound plain weird in English.
It's not like I've got a personal grudge against Trufflenyan, but since people keep coming and defending them then I'm going to defend myself as well and let it be known that, believe it or not, I actually know what I'm talking about here.
But getting this question makes me wonder...
Do you not care what Shikimi Bibi actually wrote? Or do you care more for the translation group that blatantly got it wrong and posted numerous mistakes for thousands to read?
If you spend a bit more time scouring on the internet you'll realize that there are many people that point out incorrect mistranslations, often in official manga but also unofficial fan translations.
If someone puts out a work that's consumed by THOUSANDS of people, then it should be the right of those consumers to also point out mistakes.
This idea that not even one of thousands of readers of the work cannot, absolutely CANNOT criticize a translation despite it containing real flaws... It doesn't make sense to me.
Just why are you so defensive of an unfaithful translation?
Have you also gone to Trufflenyan and requested them to fix their mistakes?
Have you been defensive of the author that actually made the work and gone to speak up on their behalf?

I hope you already read the other group’s note about Fukujuu to Amagami translation because what you did is extremely rude and insensitive.
(^~^;)ゞ hmm? nope i haven't, and i won't
what rude and insensitive?
is this about Fukujuu to Amagami and wanting to give something in return to readers so i can care for a seriously injured cat?
you saw his injuries right?
Trufflenyan's group has full permission over the manga page so they can delete my chapters, and i took my translations down because Cecil is all better so i don't see the problem
if Shikimi Bibi has a complaint then i will listen
if i had to state my opinion, Trufflenyan butchering Shikimi Bibi's work with their crap translation is much more rude and insenstive so....
