"Shikioriori" Anthology Anime Film Reveals Main Cast

The main cast has been revealed for Shikioriori, an upcoming anthology anime film that pools the talents of Japanese animation studio CoMix Wave Films and Chinese animation producers Haoliners to tell three stories set in three cities in China. The cast members include:

Taito Ban as Xiaoming in the "Hidamari no Chousyoku" (The Breakfast in Sunny Spot) segment, which is directed by Yi Zhenxing.

The story of "Hidamari no Chousyoku" is themed around food. It follows Xiaoming, a young man working in Beijing, who reminisces about his days as a boy in Hunan Province and his grandmother's home-cooking. The segment also stars Mariya Ise and Sayuri Sadaoka.

Minako Kotobuki (above) as Ilyn and Haruka Shiraishi (below) as Lulu in the "Chiisana Fashion Show" (A Small Fashion Show) segment, which is directed by Yoshitaka Takeuchi.

Set in Guangzhou, "Chiisana Fashion Show" is themed around clothing. It tells the story of two sisters: Ilyn, the elder sister, is a famous fashion model, while Lulu, the younger sister, is a student at a vocational training school. Although the two have lived together all their lives since being orphaned as children, Ilyn's jet-setting life style drives a wedge between them. Will the sisters reconcile?

"Chiisana Fashion Show" also stars Hiroki Yasumoto (below) as Steve.

The final segment, "Shanghai Love", is directed by Li Haoling, and it is themed around "living spaces". The story follows Rimo and Shaoyu, a pair of friends who were always together as children in 1990's Shangai. One day, circumstances force Rimo and his family to move away. Years later, Rimo rediscovers mementos that remind him of his childhood with Shaoyu, and of the feelings he's always held for her.

"Shanghai Love" stars Takeo Oostuka (above) as Rimo and Ikumi Hasegawa (below) as Shaoyu. The segment also stars Takayuki Nakatsukasa (not pictured).

Shikioriori hits Japanese theaters in the Summer season of 2018.

Idoly Pride, la serie animata debutterà in Giappone il prossimo inverno

Sayaka Kanda si aggiunge al cast del franchise.

Pubblicata una prima immagine promozionale per la serie tv di “Idoly Pride”, il progetto crossmediale lanciato CyberAgent incentrato su dei gruppi femminili di idol, svelando che l’anime andrà in onda a partire da gennaio 2021.

Introdotto anche con un video il nuovo personaggio di Mana Nagase, la sorella maggiore di Kotono, interpretata da Sayaka Kanda (Yuna in Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale).

Il soggetto originale per il progetto è stato ideato da Yoshiki Minazumi di QualiArts, Kaoru Adachi (il produttore dietro Love Live! School idol project) di Straight Edge e Jukki Hanada (sceneggiatore di Love Live! School idol project) di SATZ. Le musiche sono invece prodotte da Ray'n e QualiArts. Il franchise conta di espandersi non solo tramite concerti e anime, ma anche con dei videogiochi e altre forme d’intrattenimento.

Comix Wave Films, studio anime asal Jepang yang terkenal dengan film-film anime karya Makoto Shinkai seperti 5 Centimeters Per Second dan Your Name. Akan bekerjasama dengan studio anime asal Tiongkok, Haoliners Animation League dalam membuat proyek antologi anime pendek berjudul “Shiki Oriori (Poem of Seasons Woven Together)”. Antologi Shikioriori ini berisi tiga anime pendek, yang masing-masing berjudul “Hidamari no Choshoku” (Sunny Breakfast), “Chiisana Fashion Show” (A Small Fashion Show), dan “Shanghai Koi” (Shanghai Love). Antologi ini akan diputar di Jepang pada musin panas 2018.

Ketiga anime pendek ini akan bersettingkan di tiga kota berbeda di Tiongkok. Tema dari ketiga anime pendek tersebut, masing-masing adalah ketiga kebutuhan pokok, yakni pangan, sandang, dan papan. Dalam Hidamari no Choshoku akan dikisahkan mengenai pekerja muda dari Beijing dan seorang nenek di kampungnya. Dalam Chiisana Fashion Show akan dikisahkan mengenai keluarga yang tinggal di Guangzhou. Sementara itu dalam Shanghai Koi akan dikisahkan mengenai Shanghai di tahun 1990an.

Berikut adalah seiyuu yang akan turut bermain dalam proyek anime antologi ini: - Taito Ban sebagai Shaomin (Hidamari no Choshoku) - Minako Kotobuki sebagai Irin (Chiisana Fashion Show) - Hiroki Yasumoto sebagai Steve (Chiisana Fashion Show) - Haruka Shiraishi sebagai Lulu (Chiisana Fashion Show) - Takeo Otsuka sebagai Rimo (Shanghai Koi) - Ikumi Hasegawa sebagai Shiaoyu (Shanghai Koi)

Pemutaran anime antologi ini tepatnya di Theater Shinjuku, Cine Libre Ikebukuro, dan sejumlah teater lainya pada musim panas 2018.
