Yeah no of course Muslims are allowed to be scared in the US. Muslims tend to face equal rates of hate crimes in the US as Jews per capita. This blog has always stood against Islamophobic hate when it’s come up.

I don’t know how many times I’ve got to say this but. Just because this blog is focused on combatting antisemitism specifically doesn’t mean that I don’t care about plights and horrors that aren’t being covered.

It’s just really interesting to me that not once have I been accused of racism for not covering anti-Black crimes. Not once have I been accused of being pro-genocide for not covering the conflicts in Congo or Sudan. Not once have I been accused of supporting paedophila because I’m not doing a day-by-day breakdown of the Epstein case.

I only get comments like that from antisemitic anti-Zionists who think that a Jew on the internet detailing antisemitism and hypocrisy must somehow be fundamentally detrimental to Muslims. Of course Muslims in America should be scared. Of course Palestinians should be scared. Muslims living around the world have ample cause to be scared right now.

Saying that Jews are scared right now has never meant that we’re taking away others rights to fear. More than one group can be scared at a time. I’m simply staying in my lane and focusing on the fear that my community experiences because this is Jewish Sideblog, not a current events class or a news network.

my favorite mechanism is Ivy! funky autistic immortal librarian go brrr. I simply think if you are granted immortality and don't use it to learn everything that has ever been known you're doing it wrong.

my favorite album is ouatis!! it was my first mechs album so I've always had a particular soft spot for it, and this year I've just spent obsessed with the rose reds and built up an extensive network of headcanons around the world and characters, so. Most of what I write these days is ouatis!

I have never been able to pick a favorite mechs song, but my current top five, in no particular order, are Sleeping Beauty, Stranger, Elysian Fields, Peacemaker, and Swan Song.

And I love many of the photos but my favorite would probably either be the one with Carmilla and the Toy Soldier walking outside at night, or the one from DTTM where Raph is standing and singing and Ivy is sitting behind her looking up at her <3

It is REQUIRED for you to have a personality on your professional writing twitter.

Many, many publishing houses and agents ask for your twitter handle and/or relevant sms to see what kind of following you have and use that to decide if you’re marketable or not

If you want friends--which you do, because you need to network and also have fucking support or you will lose your mind--you cannot just post your book links and content and leave. You have to engage with the community because why else would the community engage with you? Also people want to KNOW who you are before they interact with you that’s how friendship works!!!!! (also publishing is very cliquey)

It’s the same right here on tumblr, in the Writeblr community, which I also have a sideblog for!!!!! If you want to make friends you have to follow other blogs and play ask games and participate in events because whether you like or not YOU are the most important part of whatever content you’re sharing and people need to know you exist before they give a shit about you’re content!!!!

(This is Dragonfire/Stella, I'm posting Luminous's ref and extra info for the ref list in my rw sideblog) @buoyantinnature collab colony entry! ^v^

The Luminous joined the colony during one of her travels between cave networks. She was treated for an injury by the colony, which further convinced her to trust the local slugcats and stay around

She doesn't go out much during daytime and is usually inside nearby caves and darker areas. She goes out in the open during dusk and dawn to travel, scout and collect things

Luminous's combat ability is average (similar to Survivor's spear throw damage and she cannot maul), but her crawling and climbing speed is faster than normal

She can change her bioluminescent parts to any color, while her skin still maintains a very dark tone despite hue change. Because of this, the predators usually avoid her, thinking she's too toxic to eat, but this tactic doesn't work on blind predators like Black lizards (whom the Luminous despises encountering)

Her past is unknown for the most part, but she may be a purposed organism due to her bizarre traits and adaptations. It could also be possible she was born from purposed parents, instead
