Sleepy Readathon - Day 6
Glyph translation pages are my favorite! If you squint, you can see the sass in the translator's notes 😆
Nobody tells me what not to do (except for you, though I don't always listen).
Pages read: 40

August 6, 2021
Finally got back to reading after a few days mostly dedicated to reclaiming yarn. I've gladly (and late, as always) decided to partecipate in @myonetruebook 's Sleepy Readathon, to keep myself motivated and read a bit more this month - though I read quite a few books in July. Had breakfast in a lovely café with my dad in the morning, then read for most part of the afternoon, before having some homemade vegan banana pancakes - which I baked yesterday - with my sister.

1k pages August 2021 Day 1
The Great Gatsby - 115 pages
I was going to be done with this book and I would've read more from Pippi if it wasn't once again for my cold which this time tortured me with an ear pain 🙄 I'm still happy with the first day reading though. As for the book I only have less than 30 pages left and I still don't know how I feel about it.
P. S. 40 of these pages were read in the evening as part of the #sleepyreadingaugust

Sleepy Reading August
Day 9
Last night proved that reducing screen time doesn't always improve sleep. I finished all 363 pages of The Hating Game by Sally Thorn.
It was such a sweet feel-good book and I loved every moment of it. I may do a full review if I remember lol

sleepy reading august - wrap up
thank you @myonetruebook for hosting this readathon! I mostly only failed at the weekends but this will definitely look different as soon as uni starts. read during this readathon:
Coraline by Neil Gaiman (e-book)
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir (an absolute favourite!)
Tuf Voyaging by George R.R. Martin (e-book, seriously underrated)
If I Never Met You by Mhairi McFarlane
The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager (e-book)
and halfway through Kings of the Wyld by Nicholas Eames

So far, I managed to put my devices down and read for 10-30 min before going to sleep. However, I've now finished my book and have no idea what to read next. Hopefully, inspiration will come bfore tonight.

(I know I'm late sorry but I don't know why Tumblr didn't save this in my drafts)
August finished! These last days I've been reading The Maidens by Alex Michaelides.
In total I've read 2166 pages!
I've really enjoyed this readathon. I know it continues the rest of the year but I don't know if I'll continue it because I'm starting university soon and I have a bunch of things to do. It's been lovely though, thank you @myonetruebook for hosting it 💜

Sleepy Readathon - Day 3
This is life, and I will not lie by saying every day will be sunshine. But there will be sunshine again, and that is a very different thing to say. That is truth.
Even though this book is fantasy, I like how it discusses mental health so much.
Also, another illustration since everyone seemed to have liked the last one! ✨

I'm not beating myself for not reading 50 pages but praising myself for reading before bed.
Thanks @myonetruebook for hosting Sleepy Reading August. If anyone wants to join it's never too late. Just grab a book before bed and you're in!

Sleepy Reading August
Day 2
I didn't think I'd manage 50 pages last night because I got to bed late; but I started One Last Stop by Casey McQuiston and I was hooked.

This week I have finished 1984 by George Orwell (229 pages) and started Labyrinth (featuring my brother's hand in the photo) by Kate Mosse (325 pages).
On day 20 I used another emoji because I was on a trip with my family so I didn't used my phone but didn't read either :)
