for as pretty and high quality as the new monster high series is, it is a shame that the animation clearly being more expensive leaves the school as a whole looking kind of empty. like the webisodes cost 3 dollars to produce, but because of that they could at least pump out a bunch of generic monster designs to put in the halls. so far in the new series it feels like only the main characters attend monster high, you never seem to see a crowded cafeteria or a bunch of monsters walking between classes, which does make the school feel more lifeless :(

idk every day i connect myself close and closer to abbacchio, even as depicted in the actual material. even with the ugly side of his. idk lots of thought but then that could then be also very personally tranformative to have it as a fanfic. i have some various thoughts and theories about fanwork but idk i feel like if its this deeply personal our approach to character could be exploration of self and how we want to change and maybe even love the ugly sides of self. much to think about i guess. making him hero and use his talents. thinking about his limitations and having him grow as person because he was not allowed to do that as secondary character in very rushed story.
