So I was browsing all your QAF gifs, as one does, and one of your tags on a 3x11 set has me curious. Your tag was something about the underwear story always makes you laugh. What is the underwear story from this episode. I assume it's something that was said at a con or in the DVD commentary maybe. All Wardrobe is provided by the wardrobe department, even underwear. I have two main assistants, Shannon and Heather. They lay out the clothes at the top of the day and the actors arrive and after hair and makeup they get dressed. I don’t expect my choices to be written in stone so with underwear and jewellery, several choices are left out for the actor to choose. Gale and Randy just happened to both choose black that day.

I'm assuming it was a very important question that fans wanted the answer to lmao because you'd expect them to be wearing contrasting colours or styles, it's rare for a couple to be wearing the same thing in a scene. But it kinda plays into canon that they share clothes and I would say Justin is the underwear thief in this relationship. But also how in sync Gale and Randy became after working on the show for so long in close proximity.

Yep, the boxsets are quite expensive and there are different versions due to release in specific countries so it varies as to what dvd extras you get depending on which which boxset you buy which sucks. An anon of mine found one at a goodwill store and immediately bought it, I hope maybe you find some similar good luck or happen upon a more affordable option.

She needed to blend in in order for their plan to work, and right now, with her Carhartt and jeans, Tessa did not blend in. She needed clothes. She needed a dress. But where the hell was he supposed to get one? He certainly couldn't afford it. Maybe he could ask the old widow who lived in the cabin a few miles east. She was kind, and always seemed to have a little of everything laying around. So with a sigh and a prayer that he would think of something to say, Rhett got up on his horse and went to the old widow's house. She answered with a smile, just like she always did. Hunched in on herself with grey hairs peaking out of her bonnet. Rhett could tell she used to be pretty. But life out on the frontier had changed that over time. Hard work and loss. "Mornin', ma'am," Rhett spoke softly as he took off his hat, pressed it to his chest. "Mr. Abbott! What can I do ya for?" He still didn't know what to say. I know you’ve answered this before, but what time frame do you think Brian fell for Justin? Like how early in their “relationship “ do you think he realizes… “shit, this is real… this could be love?”

For me it's from 1x06 onwards and I've always felt it's signposted to the audience these two are going to be something special and that Brian also feels the same in the highly underrated dinner scene at the end of 1x08. One of my all time favourite moments for Britin.

In 1x06 we see Brian secretly purchase the sketch Justin did of him at the art show and that he is touched Justin went out of his way to draw him. It's a really intimate thing to do, kinda like when someone makes you a personal handmade present because it represents they care for you, it comes from love. Earlier in the episode when Lindsey first shows it to him he asks Justin when he drew it and he replies when you were sleeping, which is AHHHHHH, all the feels!

It showcases to Brian that he was special to Justin in some way and he in turn is intrigued by this kid irrespective of his casual attitude towards him in front of everyone else.

The dinner scene says a lot because prior to Brian going home he tells Michael he has someone waiting for him which is so meaningful. Because he's spent 29 years going back to that solitary, empty loft where the only frequent visitors were his friends and the revolving door of anonymous tricks. But now he's got someone there, someone who loves and cares for him and who he feels something for even if he doesn't have a name for it yet. The emotion is so evident in that scene from both parties with Justin nervously thinking the world will end if Brian doesn't like his Jambalaya (bless his little cotton socks) and Brian never having experienced having dinner with someone. He's used to Thai takeout for one.

Then the ice is broken when he says the magic words it's not bad and they look at each other for a beat and hold a smile and a gaze. Brian laughs gently to himself and has that 'just who is this kid and why do I wanna know more about him' look on his face whilst the soundtrack plays softly over them and the screen fades out with something new being born.
