Starshine rewrite, dark riders & horses

Sabine has Khaan, pure breed black fresian, with an unnaturaly high body tempature. Somes even reported to see Khaan burn down the grass as he stepped on it She got it as a birthday present from her parents. Khaan got trained as a dressage horse, but can perform somewhat well as a showjumper. Since she lack the love from her parents she try to win every competiton the Jorvik Stable is helding to try to gain their love.

Katja has Stalker, a pure black Parcheron, with extreamly low body temparature. Somes says when the air is humid, you can see snow forming around his body. Stalker a bit aggresive, most at the stable try to avoid him. He hates the company of other horses, but somewhat friendly with Khaan and Mortifa. Katja got him thanks her excellent scheme. But the poor girl almost find out she not got any money during the exchange, but Mr. Sands helped her out, but asked for a favour.

Mortifa, a black Belgian warmblood with a pure white face and soulles blue eyes. She has a poor eyesight, but has a really high agility. Somes said, when you are too close to her you start to feel sick. Laverne got her, when he was 12, her breeder wanted to eutanasy the foal, but he saved Mortifa. Since then she lives at the jorvik stables and has a good friendship with Khaan and Stalker.

So as I said before, Jessica hates horses. They just don't understand why there is a whole ass island where the citizens are obssessed with horses. She times to times goes to see the racies Sabine attend at also go to cheer for Katja or Laverne. She one time tried to ride a horse, but freaked out.

And lastly here is Mr. Sands and his steel gray English Thoroughbred. The PineHill mansion has a huge stable, with multiple horses, but when he go out to ride he mostly ride this old lady. There is an empty stall with a damaged name plate. The older stable workers know, there used to be a blue roan horse with white tiped mane. No one knows what breed she was, but know she and Mr. Sands had a really close bond. But he lost his horse like he lost his family...

oc rambling

so i thought that, the creature he meets at the end of the story is the devil in disguise rather than that the arabian was the "predator" all along, and mb even that the devil in disguise ate his arabian too and thats why it didnt come back anymore

but then i thought what if the real black russian arabian was actually still alive

bc yasmine thinks that his arabian died/was eaten by this creature like all the horses that went missing and thats why it doesnt come back anymore

so when he gives birth to the russian arabian again he views it 100% as the russian arabian from before bc he thinks this creature brought it back to him (with the price of his heart)

but actually if the russian arabian from before is still alive it means it's not the same horse

and basically when he met the og russian arabian he didnt actually get to ride it until the last meeting/s but most of their meetings he just attempted to get close to it but wasn't able to ride it, so yasmine doesn't actually know this horse that well, rather than that he's in love with this horse he's in love with the idea/ideal he projects on it

and the new foal he got rather than the actual russian arabian is a physical creation of his idea of this horse and the ideal that he desires

(and thats also why its a good race horse later on in jorvik bc it got such big heart its unnatural its not 100% like a real horse)

and mb at the end of yasmine's story in general (not just what i wrote i mean like.. after he goes down to jorvik and whatever his overall plot would be) he actually meets the og russian arabian again, so he realizes that all along his current horse wasn't the same horse he fell in love with and he also finds out why was it even there in dino valley in the first place even tho it doesnt make sense bc it wasnt wild and horses are herd animals. bc in his mind it was like a lone wild horse that came out of nowhere just for him (bc he didnt know where it came from) but in reality it actually belonged to someone, mb it kept running away all the time. and if it belongs to someone it already takes away parts of the magic of it bc its like yasmine was cheated on lol or it wasnt a horse just for him

and also i thought of the black horse as his soul horse (like, its aman) and i thought in yasmine's case he basically artificially created his soul horse and the connection one has with their soul horse

but then i thought wait what if yasmine's REAL actual soulhorse was the yakut horse he pushed too hard and essentially killed. and this also needs a definition of what it means to have a "soulhorse", so i think a soulhorse means besides the literal thing of "its a horse u can communicate with and have a magical connection with", what it means for you mentally is that its another being youre in perfect harmony with, thats why the yakut horse was always so calm with him bc even if yasmine was aggressive it understood him and they understood one another, so even though yasmine basically had the "perfect relationship"/healthy positive connection with the soulhorse he chose the black horse (the mania and adrenaline rush and excitment and addiction) over it, when he had the chance to bring it back he chose to bring back aman(black horse) instead

so rather than having the real soulhorse that comes from aideen (bc soul riding etc is from aideen/positive god) he gave it up and got/created an artificial soulhorse that comes from garnok(the devil)

posting images of The Final Photoshoot™ before they're completely irrelevant

the gen 1 friesian was the first horse i bought after getting lifetime, two months after its initial release. i was f2p during summer break because my dad refused to get me star rider during summer when i should be outside (i had had a sr subscription before that), but promised to help me get lifetime after the break. i remember being so hyped to get the coolest horse in the game... especially when it was seemingly on sale (it cost 990, but the sso team had stated it would cost 1290sc later on. it never did, but still). his first name was Airhurricane, but it was later changed to Ravenshadow.

image from 2014 and 2015 respectively- my earliest stuff from 2013 has unfortunately been lost.

The gen 2 morgan holds a special place in my heart. I guess she was my first Soulhorse moment? I bought it shortly after its release and immediately fell in love. it was the first horse i levelled up to lvl 15 (that wasn't my starter). i did everything with her, questing, racing, roleplaying, just hanging... breaking into areas... discovering bugs... eh anyways.

and then there is ofc my starter, my old lady Firegirl. no comment needed, it's the horse that followed me during my first steps on Jorvik. That was before you could even buy more horses, ain't that fun!

but yes

first are my babies who i ride most often

(from left to right - Aman, Dust, Sado and Aomen)

Aman is my new main. he's a stallion (most of my horses are stallions tho) and got his own will but he's a good boy. he's a sharp race horse and yasmine's biggest love and passion. but he got a dark side

Dust is the horse i use for chill rides basically, when i feel like riding a simple horse, or to ride in dino valley (he got cold endurance). he's old and simple and isnt into excitements. he's also used as a pack horse. he's the reliable horse yasmine uses for all of life's necessities that arent racing. in my mind he used to be a wild horse. he likes rolling in dusty sandy places

even tho dust got the most "lore" Sado is actually my favorite. im emotionally attached to him. i really wanted him before he was released, and then he came out on the app exactly on my birthday (january 20), i got him the same day and ive been riding him a lot. love him a ton. i love his face and his black knee high socks

Aomen or Omen is a comfy horse to me i ride when i want to feel like riding a very soft comfy horse and not an edgy horse. love his face and touches of brown

then i have my arabians (Onion, Moss and Mirror)

Onion was my first arabian and i love his naked face. he's the cutest horse and has layers. he likes to eat flowers

Moss was my previous main. she's yasmine's soulhorse (tho yasmines soulhorse is now kinda a combo of her and Aman). im actually unsure about her gender and sometimes shes a mare and sometimes a stallion to me depends how i feel like. he's quiet but powerful and intense

and Mirror is just a wind dog in a horses body. i just liked how he looks a lot

then those i love but dont ride that much - Unfriend, Bluemovie, Bread and Baby

Unfriend was the first horse that i got besides the starter horse. i also think he got super cute face and i love him still. i dont rlly ride him now but we got a bond. he's just a very big dog

Bluemovie i got bc i thought he's really sexy and thought of lowkey shipping him with yasmine in some way but i ended up basically never riding him skdfjdskfd he's just there to shut up and be pretty

Bread is bread no words needed

and Baby is for the y2k aes

in the pasture are those that i either hate or dont touch. i hate asshole and irony (irony is cute but im mad sse fixed the pintabians after i bought one), i dont touch A (og horse) and heavymetal is same breed as Baby but i dont rlly use him. i got him bc theyre cheap and i thought that the black one also looked cool besides the iconic y2k north swedish

the ones who mean the most to me are the first lineup and Moss

i wanted to add more photos for specific horses but tumblr wont let me. my horses also got their own tags so if u can see more screenshots with them :D

My soul still longs for yours every single moment of every single day 🤍🕊️

I spent almost 20 minutes trying to post this, I kept breaking out in tears every time I see her pictures, but she was too wonderful and special not to talk about anymore.

I got to know her and share so much with her for almost 9 years, but it could never be enough.

I spent 20 years of my life doing this sport, living this life, and I have met, trained, owned, competed with, and loved so many special horses, but when She died, my love for the world and lifestyle of it died with her.

Nothing can even begin to compare, and that’s okay.

I would take the experience of loving her, and dealing with the crippling pain and greif of losing her, a tousand times over.

There is something so unique about loving and working with horses, and when you’re lucky enough to find your soulhorse, it’s just beyond explaination.
