They are all alive! He managed to give two of them enough time to get away! Although, Donnie immediately ran off right back into danger.

An angsty backstory because they are fun and I needed the characters to be split into groups. This one is mostly just TMNT characters, Eggman is just.... here. He is enjoying the show.

Team Chaos!!

I've decided that the plot will follow the basic layout of the Sonic Adventure games. Which means splitting them all off into Teams with storylines that meet and overlap. I had some fun with how the turtles were separated and deciding who they get to team up with.

If this was a videogame, Team Chaos would be the free expansion or bonus content added to the game at a later date. It takes place in a location far removed from the other teams and doesn't connect until near the end.

Rouge pops in a few times, because I love Team Dark, but she is technically a part of Team Heart for the duration of this au. (which is why she isn't included in the TEAM part).

I'm just having fun with this silly little thing. I almost always have asks open over on my side account @theelvishfiddler-scribbles if you want to ask anything about it

Hello! I really love your sonic/tmnt crossover au. :) Can you please tell us more about Sonic's backstory in this universe, how he meets the turtles, and how Shredder and Eggman interact/what their relationship is? (Does Eggman see Shredder as an upstart rival, an equal, a threat, or something else?) I'd just love to hear more about it if you're willing to share. Thanks! :)

This is a “what if the TMNT guys existed in the Sonic universe” kind of idea, so Sonic’s backstory is pretty much everything that happens in the games! He met the turtles when he and Tails crashed on their island a couple years ago (pre sonic adventure games). The turtles had accidentally woken up an ancient piece of technology and needed help to defeat it before Yoshi and Splinter returned from a trip.

As for the current story, I haven’t pinned down where he is at in his adventures, maybe sometime post Unleashed? I think that is the last one that still had humans in it.

As for Shredder and Eggman, they have been aware of each other for years. Their goals don’t conflict so they mostly leave the other alone, but both are very aware that the other could quickly become a threat. For now, they are reluctant allies; working together and more than happy to see the other fail.

Eggman thinks the Shredder is boring and doesn't take enough action; he admittedly has a nice aesthetic, but needs more showmanship.

Shredder thinks that Eggman is too gaudy and loud; his army of robots is impressive, but the man's plans to take over the world, while ambitious, are poorly executed.

Yo is Donatello from your crossover with sonic ok??? Did he get roboticized by eggman what happened?

He blew up a very important part of something big and got caught up in the explosion. He was hidden amongst the wreckage and was, unknowingly, dumped down into the Undercity Junkyard.

Luckily the Junkyard has a lot of brilliant mechanics and scientists who helped him out. He is trapped down there with everyone else, but he is doing fine!

Some of Eggman's tech might have been salvaged to build Donny's arm, but he isn't involved with this in particular. Roboticization would have been really cool tho....

Hey so I was checking out your tmnt sonic cross over, it's been awhile i think since it's been posted so maybe this isn't relevant. But I was just wondering if something happened to yoshi after they fell on the island? Partially because of this frame:

It just looks like splinter is the one taking care of the boys, and you also said that an old rat was in charge of the island so they'd be 2 separate people then. Love your art as well!

Yup! Splinter and Yoshi are separate people in this story.

Yoshi is just a regular guy. He was asked to fix something in a spooky lab and stumbled across things he shouldn't have. This man can not fight! He is an electrician! He finds the little turtles in the lab, breaks them out, and runs for his life.

Splinter is a rat mobian, no mutation in this version, and sole guardian of the (so far unnamed) island that Yoshi and the baby turtles washed up on. The old mobian was getting too weak to take care of the island on his own, so Yoshi asked to be trained as his successor.

Several years down the line, the Walking City arrived and the turtles got into trouble with the Shredder. Yoshi managed to drive back most of the invading force and saved two of his sons before falling in battle (my latest art post). Splinter was left to watch over Leo and the island, but is too old to fight.

Op please tell us more backstory surrounding your tmnt and sonic crossover splinter and shredder being friends where the boys come from this all seems really cool you took two of my favorite things and smashed then together into a cooler looking thing!!!

Hello! There are so many ways to do crossovers between Sonic and TMNT, they just work so well together. I really would love to see other interpretations,,, and aaaaa i have been thinking about this silly little au so much, thank you for the opportunity to talk about it!!!

The world/setting is based off the sonic adventure games. Both Humans and Mobians exist, although the mobians are a lot fewer in number thanks to a conflict in the past.

Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki grew up as childhood friends (close as brothers), but they grew apart and lost contact after high school.

Yoshi graduated college with a degree in mechanical engineering and, after many years, became well known for his work. One year out of the blue, he was contacted by his old friend. Oroku Saki had grown a very successful business and wanted to hire Yoshi to fix a persistent problem one of his labs has been running into.

In said lab, Yoshi stumbled upon something he wasn't supposed to. Baby turtle mobians connected to some mysterious ooze contraption.

He, of course, instantly adopted them all in his heart and broke them out of the facility. The authorities and Mysterious Figures hunted him for weeks, the chase ending in his plane being shot down somewhere over the ocean.

He woke to find the turtles and himself stranded on a mythic moving island in the care of the old rat mobian who protects it.

This is a very tiny bit of the notes and ideas I have written down XD, I got a bit carried away with writing the backstory for the tmnt bits.
