So, I watched a couple eps of Wander Over Yonder off Hulu (still holds up pretty well, btw. Laughed quite a few times, really do miss this show) and now my brain's trying to figure out how a crossover between RotTMNT and WoY would be possible :P Because that's just how my brain is.

There's a 50/50 chance Marques Moncrief/Jupiter Jim is actually from space, so if the Turtles went into Space with him they could totally run into Wander and Syl. Or maybe Wander goes through a mystic portal/Interdimensional Door and ends up in the Hidden City? Idk, I just want a crossover because the interactions between these characters would be soooo much fun

Wander and Mikey would of course get along EXTREMELY well while Sylvia would like both Raph and April's company ^v^ Heck, maybe Splinter too, they seem like they could vibe together, lol. Just two sometimes-grumpy fighters with rough pasts and hearts of gold! And as for Leo and Donnie-

*Leo seeing Hater coming towards him and ready to shoot some lightning* "Oh cool, a skeleton man! Hey, do you know a guy named Senor Hueso from Earth-?"

Lol. Though, Hater and Peeperss would maybe try to recruit Donnie into being their on-ship mad scientist once they see his awesome machines. Donnie agrees just to play with all the high-tech intergalactic machines and weaponry for a few hours before betraying them. (”You reaaaally should’ve seen this coming. But hey, thanks again for the new power source and the free blaster, that’ll be fun to take apart later.”)

Trying to figure out the logic and science behind Wander’s hat and orbubbles nearly drives Donnie insane though, heh.

Lol, but yeah, a crossover between these two shows would be a TON of fun for me ^v^ Though, given that the Kraang are most likely still from space in the RotTMNT-Verse and Kraang created yokai... I wonder if Wander and Syl would point out the similarities between “yokai” and “alien”. Hmmmm... I may have found a connection. Or I’m just thinking too much about silly cartoon shows, one or the other.

Trending 27th - Sept. 2019 - WOY OCs 1/2

When the topic for “Wander Over Yonder original character” came up, I thought it was referring to potential new characters, not just star nomads. For the time being, I would like to talk about two characters I created back in June.

Let’s start with this sensei I conceived after reading Alex Avella’s ideas for S3 episodes (one of them being The Karate Zbornak).

Name: Frank Van Yisuko

Debut: The Karate Zbornak

Voice: Eric Bauza (think of a cross between Tiger Claw from TMNT’12 and Master Splinter in RotTMNT)

Quote: “It is important that you find the balance between power, speed, and defense. When you excel at only one of these assets, you make a valuable member for those who excel at something else. If you excel at all three assets... you should not brag about it.”

Master Yisuko is a genius when it comes to self defense. Hailing from Dokwontae, the martial arts planet, Yisuko was able to seek shelter in a chamber immune to Dominator’s destruction where he remained in suspended animation until the planet began to recover. When Wander and Sylvia come along in their Star Nomad, Yisuko greets them with open arms. Sylvia, having recent uncertainty of her ability to fend for herself, asks him to teach her karate and become much more improved. Later in the season (of their lives), he comes to the duo’s aid when things get complicated with the greatest threat in existence lurking about.

His special abilities include the horizontal axis circular kick, opposite palm thrusts, and barbs hidden in his bare heels that secrete a substance that puts his enemies to sleep.

sylvia stares at the offer, knowing full well what this is. She stares at her friends as she continues to sweat, no one noticing her fear, they all are excitedly discussing about this, ofc not knowing a damn thing about this place—

everyone continues to be excited around her, discussing what they’ll do at the hotel. Sylvia closes her eyes in frustration and stares dead pan at the question “no”

at that moment everyone stares at Sylvia, usagi giving a worried but very very confused brow “sorry what-?”

sylvia gives them a cold stare “no, it’s a kind offer, but no…. We will not be going….”

everyone starts refuting her, but they become just noise as she walks away, still holding her cold stare. Usagi was the only one who watched, and she knows he has questions, but she can’t deal with them rn. Not with any of them.

she refuses to put them in any danger, and no where near that place.

even if it seems harmless

she can’t go through that again

After 5 years of being cursed into being basically turtle monsters, their still waiting at camp halfblood for a prophecy so they can go on a quest to undo this spell that’s been put upon them. Leo being impatient, decides to take things into his own hands, Mikey ofc not letting him go by himself. Raph and Donnie suddenly finding them gone, go on a quest to bring them home.

A place where the Hamatos are gods, and the employees worship them. Sylvia, a human, decides to become a priestess for the twins, Leonardo and Donatello. Suddenly one day, one of the high priestess’s has been murdered, the one who she’s very close with. Sylvia prays to the gods for help, but wasn’t expecting one to turn up out of the blue as an answer. She decides to make a deal with the god himself, but soon will regret ever doing so.
