One of many reasons I'm especially excited about the "3 from Kenwood" photography exhibit at @creativegrape_ (Opening Reception: Sun 6/5, 4pm) in collaboration with the Historic Kenwood Artist Enclave @aehkstpete is that I finally get to show some of my non-nature photography offline and in a fine art setting. The "How Long Is Now" street art and the Tacheles building have so much meaning to me and many. It just got more meaningful to me when Sallie, an artist I deeply admire and who has become a friend, recently chose that photo out of all of my work as a gift. The Tacheles (Jewish: speaking truth) building in East Berlin was once the central office for the SS. When the wall came down and I first visited, it was an artist squat and party destination with the entire back wall missing. When I moved to Berlin in the 2010s and took this photo, it was an official cultural building Arthaus Tacheles with artist studios, shops, exhibit spaces, cafe... and across the street from one of the biggest Jewish synagogues in Berlin. Much to feel and think about. Because: how long is now? Swipe to see how the photo looks in the show at Creative Grape (although since then we've already made some more tweaks to the display). So, Freunde der Sonne, mal kurz Tacheles.

Dass AfD Nazis sind ist ja nun indiskutabel und nicht hinterfragbar, dass sie sich mit reichen Leuten zusammentun yadda yadda, alles keine Überraschung. Überraschend ist an der Correctiv-Geschichte im Grunde nur, dass sie sich bei ihren Vertreibungsplänen, Plänen zur Wahlmanipulation und Sturz der Demokratie generell haben erwischen lassen.

Nichtsdestoweniger. "Nix Neues" und "Keine Überraschung" darf nicht davon abhalten, JETZT sein/ihre*n Bundestagsabgeordnete*n zu kontaktieren und ein AfD-Verbot zu fordern.

Übrigens kann man seine*n Bundestagsabgeordnete*n ganz einfach über die Bundestagsseite finden (nach Wahlkreis suchen). Dort sind auch Kontaktmöglichkeiten direkt vorhanden:
