The Away from Home Festival. A musical movement created by Louis Tomlinson after the pandemic.
The idea of this festival comes as a result of the pandemic, which made it impossible for artists and people to enjoy live music. It is because of these complications that in 2021, the singer and songwriter Louis Tomlinson (Former member of One Direction) decided to make the first version of The Away From Home Festival (TAFHF) at the Crystal Place Bowl in London, which was characterized by being free and a space for emerging artists to show their music and reach more ears, highlighting names such as The Snuts and Bilk. In addition, the show performed by Tomlinson stood out as it was broadcast remotely so that his fans could enjoy his music from the comfort of their homes.
The festival success was such that it has already had two more versions in Spain and Italy, with plans to expand to more countries in the coming years, as mentioned by Tomlinson himself.
That is why TAFHF arrives for the first time in Latin America in its fourth version on June 8 in Mérida, Mexico. Confirmed artists include the Mexican singer Kevin Kaarl, the Australian band DMA’s, and the British artist Dylan.
Louis was so eager to let “us” tell him he is our because, that he just sang it wrongly. And if you don’t love him more for that, I don’t know what to tell you.
