When you're writing, do you ever imagine songs that go with the scenes you are writing? If so, what songs and which scenes are you imagining them for?

Hello and thank you for the ask, Han!

Well, I do actually.

When I write fighting scenes I either imagine slow songs or songs from Vikings (for example 'my mother told me' or 'valhalla calling me') or fast paced songs (example 'resistance' by skillet, 'believer' or 'enemy)!

If I write dance or couple scenes I think of slow ballads, for example Born to be your Queen.

I do love all ur Lupin work but I have such a special place in my heart for Tiger by the Tail. It’s the first fic of urs I read, before I even knew you, before we were into Lupin, and by the time you finished it we had become great friends :-) I love your characterizations of everyone, I love that one chapter where Sanji gets sooo fucked up, I love how messy all the romance is (a Jesse staple). Starting reading the bonds that tie series 😩 I finished book one literally in one day like who am I? I’ve never finished a book that fast before. On book two and I am ready for Gryphon. Nox is on my shit list I’m sorry he is I know people love him but he’s a bitch right now. Atlas and Gryphon are my favs right now. North is on thin ice and Gabe is questionable just a little bit. Otherwise interesting story and loving the poly relationship starting to show for real now.

1. Stranger, The harmonies and overlap is just BEAUTIFUL

2. Blood and whiskey, and while im thinking about it, really everything from high noon, its such a good album, but i just like the style of the song and Gueniveres part is fun to sing, blood and wiskey and hanged man rusts are usually the two songs i find myself singing without thinking about it

3. Ties that bind from UDAD, I won’t lie UDAD isn’t my favorite mechs album (still fantastic don’t get me wrong) but this is just so fun to sing, same with the other songs by the suits, all the suits songs are really good in their own ways, me and Rafaella just happen to share a vocal range meaning I am partial to songs sung by her

4. Alice, not only do i absolutely love alice in wonderland, but every part of this song is fuckin wonderful, ashes singing in the beginning, Tim and Brians accents being absolutely ridiculous, THE TOY SOLDIERS PART AS THE QUEEN OF HEARTS, Really just all the songs in TBTT vol 2 are wonderful, and i wish i had the space to put more of them on here, because there are other ones i absolutely adore, like Actaea and Lyssa and Twisted Threads, and of course lucky sevens and Lost in the cosmos
