Lu-Lu would absolutely have a cup of tea and a nice book to relax with. His jammas are very comfortable, his bedding plush. It was his favourite routine back home and he misses it dearly. Life on the road doesn't allow for such niceties, but when he gets the chance, he absolutely takes it.

Inigo has his cat like qualities in which I feel like he stays up late, thinking about things. He has insomnia- mentioned in game if you travel over night a bunch without resting- so he spends the earlier evening hours just thinking in the nice silence. He will occasionally check on someone else who is still up and help them to bed if they need, but mostly will keep to himself. Quiet kind of guy when it's night.

Kaidan is the guy who will double check EVERYTHING before bed. Got supplies? Locked door? Has everyone eaten? Do he need the bathroom? What's the perimeter look like around the camp or house? Mans has paranoia like no ones business after years of being a sword for hire and also being jumped by the Thalmor. He won't feel comfortable until he has checked at least three times. Less of an OCD thing though, more for safety and assurance.

Taliesin, however, definitely has a variant of OCD, as said by dynamite. Double checking everything right after or before Kaidan just to assure himself- occasionally accidentally locking Kaidan outside once or twice because of it, if they're travelling together- and also afflicted with insomnia like Inigo. Even worse for an elf as the time just seems that much slower at night. His routine is to find a comfortable seat, preferably next to a fire with a cup of wine and a book. Some nights all he's usually left with are his thoughts, and well... I think he'd rather be without those in the quiet hours.

I feel like Inigo and Taliesin would have some nightly talks sometimes, just to pass the hours. Sometimes they just sit in silence together, appreciative of quiet company.

What are Muls and Sculs doing tonight?

Tonight, Scully has something special planned. Mulder’s been helping a neighbor fix his fence today, so he’s sure to come home beat. She’s gonna spoil him.

First, she gets to work out in the yard. The volleyball net poles are perfect to hold a white, freshly ironed bedsheet. Their beach chairs and portable table are set up on a big blanket closer to the back porch. The projector sits on the deck, above their heads and pointed directly at the sheet. Perfect.

Next is the bathroom. She prepares everything for a bath that, if she’s being honest with herself, she’s envious of. Oils, salts, bubbles—the works. She briefly considers flower petals, but rolls her eyes at herself.

As she’s putting the finishing touches on her masterpiece, she hears his car pulling up the dirt road to their home. Their home. She can’t believe she ever ran from this—from them. Never again. He’s going to know how much she loves him every day.

As soon as he walks in the door, she greets him with a, “Hi handsome,” and a lingering kiss. She leads him upstairs and he’s speechless. He, of course, tries to pull her into the bath with him, but she tells him he needs to relax and leaves him so she can finish preparing for the main event.

Cheese doodles, sunflower seeds, iced tea, cookies, popsicles. All his favorite summertime goodies. Their feast. He walks out onto the back porch and chuckles. “Scully, what is all this?”

“Take a load off, Mulder. You’ve worked hard today.”

He bites back a joke about taking loads and sits. Scully hits play, and he falls in love with her all over again. It’s a very old, very obscure sci-fi movie that he mentioned to her a couple of weeks ago. He smiles over at her and kisses her breathless before shoving a cheese doodle in her mouth and settling in to watch his movie.

Scully, predictably, falls asleep halfway through. When the movie ends, he carries her up to bed and gently undresses her so she’ll be comfortable. He strips down to his boxers and wraps himself around her, so thankful that she’s back and she’s his and she loves him as much as he loves her. He falls asleep smiling.

Yo I've been getting back into Dark Sun again so here's some encounters to spice up the ridiculous amounts of travel that's needed in Dark Sun.

A group of masked people are carrying a large Palanquin. Within the Palanquin is an old elf woman wearing brown robes (the symbol of a tribeless elf, for those unaware). She will readily speak with the players, offering them tea. The masked people carrying the Palanquin obey her every order, and serve her and the players (if she wills it) without hesitation. The elf woman is an incredibly powerful psionicist, and the masked servants are all telepathically controlled by her. She will not tell the players this. If they treat her well, she will reward the players with either a psionic boon of some kind or a wild talent. If she is angered in any way, she will attempt to enthrall the players.

2. An Aarocokra flies down from the skies above the players. It wears a large backpack making its flight incredibly awkward. It only speaks Auran, but is desperate to trade and will attempt to communicate through gestures if needed. However, it refuses to use currency or any standard for of barter. It sells all manners of odd trinkets, and will only accept other odd trinkets in return. It has 3 magic items of your choice, and 2d6 items from the Trinkets table. 3. A ruined temple, barely even standing and half sunken into the sand, stands in front of the players. It is dedicated to a god who no one remembers. No one, except for a single Raaig within. The Raaig is a dwarf named Thimm, who believes any Dwarf or Mul players to be various other followers of this forgotten diety, somehow still alive after all this time. If the party has no dwarves or muls, he allows the players to stay in the temple, which he believes to still be fully intact, if they convince him that they are followers of his god. If they do so, he will watch over them as they sleep and protect them.

4. A migration of Cloud Rays passes through the same area as the players. As this is happening, a group of 2d4 brigands also meet the players. They each wield a tied harpoon and a spear. They will use their harpoons to climb up on top the cloud rays, and will attempt to harpoon one or more of the players to drag them away, surely to enslave them. The players could also try to get atop cloud rays, and can try to psionically communicate with any Cloud Ray they are on top of, which can be accomplished with a DC 14 wisdom check. If this is failed by 5 or more, the Cloud Ray that is communicated with will go into a violent rage, angered by the players trying to enter its mind.

So this post from seven years ago blew up all big right outta nowhere. It's funny cause mutuals are now reblogggning it like "eyyy i know this person. Hi person!" And hi to you to.

But in a way, a small little way, in a way I dont feel too strongly but still feel, its kinda sad that it resonates with others so much.  And that I’m still this way so many years later (outside of dnd).

Mulberry "Mul" Myrcliff: Chill guy who wants to have a chill time and they certainly are not haunted by an Evil Sentiant Star.

Bri 'Caus: Buff captain of a Dnd Spaceship, loves tea, and was manipulated into a deal with a magical talking bloodthirsty sword.

Cryesavchik: Sentient dumpsterfire warlock who was once just ripoff dnd junkrat but has become so much more.

Plynn: A lil melodramatic alien that looks like a rabbit combined with a chuchu from wind waker, whomst inadvertantly saved their world from an alien invasion, but unfortunately that resulted in an unwanted perminant houseguest (said invading alien).

Jaques DeBonhare: Rabbit furry cleric of trickery who is known for telling bad jokes, and on a quest to eat one of every monster in the world.

Unnamed depressed alien: Lil guy who just wants to do their normal beurocratic space-wormhole management job, but gets put on "congrats on figuring out wormhole technology! welcome to the intergalactic neighborhood!" duty, and their day just gets worse from there.

Pluck Fireflame: The most anxious thief who talks like a valley girl you'll ever meet. In some incarnations is a ghost who is just as anxious if not more so.

Shape-shifting evil sorcerer empress: Like it says on the tin. Got sealed away in some pottery hundreds of years ago, was accidentally released in modern day, and is all like "holy shit indoor plumbing?????".

Reuben: A big ol all powerful big bad monster guy people would summon into a world when they wanted to take over it. Got tired of that and chose to retire. A pretty chill old man type now, who happens to be a large pig that's on fire.

Kas keegi veel mäletab neid CDsid millel olid loetud lood peal, pmst nagu audioraamatud aga füüsilisel kujul. Mu emps ostis mulle neid päris palju kui ma väike olin ja iga uus neist oli mu kõige lemmikum asi eales.

Esimene nädal vahetusperega ja koolis (5月8日)

Hiroshimasse sõitsin kiirrongiga. Sõit kestis 1 tund ja 40 minutit. Istusin rongis Ameerika vahetusõpilase Bruno kõrval, kellega käin ka Jaapanis samas koolis. Vahetuspere ootas mind kohe ronijaama perronil. Sõit koju oli 30 minutit pikk. Pärast kodus käiku külastasime sugulasi ja käisime naabreid tervitamas.

Järgmisel päeval läksime kooli koolivormi järele ja sain tuttavaks koolitöötajatega. Mulle näidati ka, kus minu klass asub. Õpin 5-2 klassis ehk 11. klassis. Kui klassikaaslased mind ukse peal nägid, läksid kõik elevust täis. Mind koheldi justkui oleksin olnud mingi kuulsus, leidsin, et see oli päris naljakas. Vahetunni ajal kõndisid õpilased mul sabas ning tahtsid minuga rääkida. Koridori peal hüüti “kawaii!” või “cute!” (eesti keeles “armas”).

Teisipäeval läksin kooli juba tundidesse. Pidin hommikul õpetajate ja enda klassi ees end tutvustama. Mu klass võttis mind väga soojalt vastu, tahvlile oli suurelt kirjutatud “TERE TULEMAST AGNE!”. Üks klassivend oli isegi õppinud paar sõna eesti keeles selgeks :D

Kõik tunnid, peale inglise keele, on jaapani keeles. Mõnes tunnis ei saa ma mitte midagi aru, näiteks poliitika ja majanduse tunnis sain ainult sellest aru, et õpetaja rääkis terve tund poodidest. Matemaatika tundide teemad on palju keerulisemad võrreldes Eestis laia matemaatikaga, mis oli minu jaoks lihtne. Kõige lemmikum tund on mul hetkel geograafia, sest huvitaval kombel sain ma seal tunnis kõigest aru, kuigi terve tund oli jaapani keeles.

Kuigi tunnid algavad kell 8:40, ärkan igal koolihommikul juba kell 6 hommikul, et kell 7 juba kodust lahkuda. Mu kool on kodust väga kaugel. Hommikul sõidutab isa mind autoga bussipeatusesse ning sealt lähen üksi bussiga edasi. Kooli jõuan umbes kell 8:10. Tunnid kestavad 50 minutit ning vahetund 10 minutit pikk. Igapäev on kas 6 või 7 tundi ehk tunnid lõppevad kas kell 15:40 või kell 16:40.

Pärast tunde on klubid, mina otsustasin liituda sulgpalli klubiga, kuid veel on näiteks pesapall, kendo (Jaapani mõõgavõitluskunst), kalligraafia, traditsionaalne Jaapani teejoomis klubi, näitlemine ja puhkpilliorkester. Kokku on minu koolis 20 klubi. Klubid lõppevad umbes kell 18:30, nii et jõuan koju alles pärast kella kaheksat õhtul.

Söögivahetund on pärast neljandat tundi kella ühe paiku. Söögivahetund on 40 minutit pikk. Lõunat saab kas endale osta või ise kaasa võtta. Minule teeb ema igal hommikul toidu kaasa. Pärast söögivahetundi on koristamine, sest Jaapani koolides koristajaid pole. Õpilased koristavad ise koolimaja.

Neljapäeval käisime klassiekskursioonil Yamamoto muuseumis, kus oli näha erinevaid sõjalaevu. Pärast muuseumi külastamist käisin oma grupiga pastat söömas ja kõndisime linnas niisama ringi.

Reedel külastasime perega Miyoshis olevat onseni ehk kuumaveeallikat. Tee peal sinna käisime läbi ka yokai (üleloomulikud tegelased ja vaimud Jaapani rahvaluules) ja origami muuseumidest ning kõndisime ümbruskonnas ringi, külastades Miyoshi kuulsamat pühamut. Järgmisel päeval käisime jalgratastega sõitmas ning mängisime mingit golfisarnast mängu, mille nime ma ei tea :D

Pühapäeval käisin koolis sulgpalli klubis, nädalavahetuseti koolis klubide tõttu käimine on Jaapanis täiesti normaalne. Pärast trenni läksime sõpradega koos parki ja pidasime väikse pikniku minu klubi liitumise tähistamiseks.
